• Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure.

Something's seriously wrong with my skype.

So when I click the "online" tab and try to change it to offline, invisible mode, busy or whatever nothing happens. The status will remain the same.

The only way to change the status is to quit Skype and log back in that way.

I tried downloading the latest version but that didn't work.

What's wrong with my skype? Can someone help me?

There is another problem that's far far worse.

The only way to see the new messages I get is to restart Skype.

And unfortunately that link didn't help me, I went to that settings and didn't find "Bluetoodh Headset Helper.exe" on the programs there.

in /user/AppData/programs/Skype there is probably something wrong with the files, uninstall skype, delete the skype directory in the appdata folder and install the newest skype.

To be able to view the appdata folder goto Control Panel->search "folder options"-> goto the second tab "view"-> where it states "show hidden files and folder" toggle it on. do the above
