"Mum!" Bernie cried in surprise. "It's alright! It's Smokey!"
"What?" Bernie's mum asked curiously.
"This dog here is Smokey!" Bernie said excitedly. "But how could he have changed from a doberman to a Houndour? It doesn't make sense."
---
Bernie had finished booting the computer up, and was wating for it to finish logging him in. Smokey came trudging into the room, only to lay in the corner and curl up as he did when he was tired.
Bernie turned his attention back to the computer and changed his MSN status to "Online". Some of his friends were on, but nobody worth talking to. He reached for the bowl of popcorn that was sitting beside the monitor on the computer desk. Bernie remembered one of the other Pokemon he had seen before, and he went to Google and typed in "Shelgon". Nothing much came up, just a bunch of Pokemon sites. So he typed in "Shelgon sightings", and a couple of pages came up. Bernie clicked on the first link and was taken to a page that listed were each Pokemon had been spotted. Bernie sighed when he found that the only place most of the Dragon Pokemon had been spotted, if at all, was out on the islands in the Pacific Ocean.
Well, Bernie thought. It would make for a heck of a holiday.
