Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Chao question

Ok well i have a question about my chao. It went through it's first evolution smoothly and turned into a Dark/Run chao like a wanted. Now i want a D/R/R chao. Apparently it starts looking different around it's first mating season. But there's a problem, mine has never gone through a mating season yet and he's age 3. I'm getting kind of nervous. His running is lv. 79 and all of his others are around 1. I keep giving him green drives and such hoping that he will go through it soon. Is it natural for a chao to wait this long? Should i be panicd or not?

Heart fruits make chao mate IIRC, so if you want it to go through the season to feel safe, then try that. Otherwise, running animals and drives should be fine.

The mating season thing is BS, btw. Your Chao doesn't even have to go through mating season to change, mine didn't. Just wait a couple of hours, and the changes will progress until it becomes a full Dark Run/Run Chao.

The Mating Season thing isn't real. Just give it time, give it the Heart Shaped fruits - and talk to all of the Chao in the Center to find out more.

2. Gave it 10 heart fruits, i got nothing.
3. And it's age 3. Which means ive been waiting for at least 9 hours and probably more cause he's almost age 4.

So what happens if he doesn't change? I have done this before but this is the first time that a chao hasn't changed at all afte its' first evolution. Does this mean it won't happen at all, cause that would really suck.

Are you sure it's not changing? There aren't many differences between a Dark Run and a Dark Run/Run, so you may not notice that it's changing until the entire transformation is complete.

But doesn't dark/run/run look black with red stripes? Mine is still black with green stripes. Mine looks exactly the same as when it first evolved.
