Blue Blood
Meh
Okay, for those of you that haven't heard Sonic Rushs music, you really need too. It so amazingly different to music in any other Sonic game.
Back to Back
Certain tracks, Back to Back (water on the American site) in particular, you will really recognize. I know I've heard it before; everyone that I've asked says that they have heard it before, but nobody seems to know where it is actually comes from originally. Because of this though, it is just EASILY going to become one of those tracks that nobody will forget. It'll become a legend in the same way that Green Hill Zone has, and Ice Cap (S3 genesis, not PC) has. It was thought to be used on the Jungle stage at first, but has now been confirmed to be used on the Water stage. I personally think it fits the Water stage better than it would have the Jungle stage. However, it would have made a great theme-track for the game. The words Back to Back would seem to go well with the Sonic and Blaze thing. Not only are all the tacks great, but B2B is by far the best.
Right There Ride On
Right There Ride On (Jungle) is another brilliant track. If you listen to it you'll see that it fits the Jungle stage, and this is the track that is actually used for it. The track has an almost westernly feel to it; but is done much better than the tracks on Colo. It has a great feel to it and its very likely you're just gonna find yourself tapping you foot to this. For some reason, as well as seeming to fit the Jungle stage, this music just seems to be shouting out Blaze at the top of its voice. It has some nice, cool mixtures between fast pace, and some parts that just seem flat out Sonic-ish. And by Sonic-ish, I mean that it really seems to be clasSonic game music. The words you hear mainly in this piece will leave you in laughter, or just feeling plain weird. It left me just feeling, well and my friend was in hysterics for at least five minuets. I highly doubt that this track will be remembered in the same way that B2B will, but it is great none the less.
High Altitude
On the American Rush site, there are two more long tracks. The first one being Desert, with is actually used on Altitude Limit, rather than the desert stage itself. It's another track that I doubt you'll get enough of. For those of you that have played SA, you'll know how good the music was on Sky Deck. Now High Altitude seems to shadow Sky Deck. It's awesome. And like the Jungle music, it has some parts to it that sound really clasSonic like. Especially the bit you get at about 34 sacs in, and the last part of it before the track ends. Especially the bit you get at about 34 secs in, and the last part of it before the track ends.
Boss Music
The Boss music is far better than Boss music in other Sonic games. (S3&K not included =P) It has a great pace, but sounds again like another track that shouts out Blaze- just not as loudly as RTRO. From about 37 sacs into the track, it sounds like the music I would expect to hear on Water Palace. Just awesome.
Ethno Circus
Vela Nova
Some other tracks include Ethno Circus and Vela Nova. Ethno Circus is rather odd name for the track on Mirage Road (desert stage). My in-hysterics-friend described this track as chavs, that were in a circus that was in the middle of a desert. Vela Nova Sounds so, well cosmic. It's quite cool really. I could see it being used on some sort of space or casino stage.
So then people, you can tell the ST for the game is pure and simply awesome. It's just so, wow! Discuss.
EDIT: Tracks I didn't mention:
Ska Cha Cha
Jeh Jeh Rocket
