Who do you think won in the last battle in the ARC(The one after Final Rush)? Sonic or Shadow?

I say Sonic. People say Shadow won just because he's cool.-_-

Evidence that Sonic won:
-Shadow vowed to kill Sonic(once he vows to do something, he sticks to it)
-Eggman sneaked away with the real yellow Chaos Emerald(that's why the Last story starts where the Dark story left off)
-Sonic was alive in the Last story
