Okay, with this RP I’m sort of trying to combine Old-School Sonic with New School Sonic. I’ll be bringing back the Death Egg, as well as several of Eggman’s old robots but at the same time, the Black Arms, GUN, Dr. Gerald Robotnik, etc. also play huge roles in the RP. Basically, whether you like the Genesis Sonic Games and absolutely hate the 3-D ones, vice-versa, or love them all (like me), there’s a place for you in this RP.

Plot:
Everyone thought they were gone…that they were rid of the horrible race forever. After Shadow defeated Devil Doom above the earth and destroyed the Black Comet, everyone assumed the universe was rid of the horrible plague that was the Black Arms for good. But oh, how wrong they were…Still, it’s an honest mistake I guess. Black Doom was supposedly confirmed dead, and the Black Comet was actually destroyed in front of everyone’s eyes. As far as the people of earth were concerned, the plague had been lifted and they could once again go about their everyday lives in peace thanks to the brave Shadow the Hedgehog, who put his life on the line and his past behind him for the good of the planet.
However, the Black Arms were not yet gone. It’s true, Black Doom was defeated by Shadow. It’s also true that the Black Comet was destroyed by the Eclipse Cannon. But Black Doom survived the fall from the sky. He sustained heavy damage, of course. He hung on to life itself by a mere thread- each of his breathes were very labored and he nearly died from blood-loss. The point was, though, Black Doom lived on…
But while Black Doom was alive, he didn’t have nearly enough strength to revive the Black Arms. So, he hid himself completely from life on earth, going into a “hibernation” for a few months, presumably somewhere underground. This restored his ability to fight, but even at his maximum strength he couldn’t bring back his race. So, he wandered aimlessly across the earth, hoping to find something, anything, that could return the Black Arms to their former glory. Namely, the Chaos Emeralds.
Eventually, his long search paid off. He saw none other than Sonic the Hedgehog, famous savior to the world many times over, fighting against Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik in his latest doomsday machine. Normally, this wouldn’t have been a big deal, but Sonic was using his Super Form, which meant after the fight was over, Sonic would separate from the Chaos Emeralds…That would be when Black Doom would make his move.
Super Sonic destroyed Eggman’s weapon, and as expected, his golden fur returned to its normal dark shade of blue, and his spikes no longer stuck up into the air. In other words, he was no longer in his Super Form. The Seven Chaos Emeralds circled around him for a moment, and then flew off in different directions. However, Black Doom, using the extent of his powers, was able to stop the Emeralds in their tracks before they got too gar and draw them in using a tractor beam of some sort. Of course, he wouldn’t have been able to do that if they weren’t so close to him, which was why he didn’t use that skill earlier and waited for the right moment to do so.
Sonic and his friends noticed this, and ran to where the Chaos Emeralds were gathering. Also, during this time, Eggman snuck away to an unknown location. Anyway, seeing Black Doom, everyone gasped in surprise. Shadow, who was also there at the time, was speechless, merely glaring at the alien with intense rage and fury.
“I thought I was rid of you, Black Doom! Why can’t you just stay dead?!” The black hedgehog demanded.
“I told you, I’m invincible, Shadow. Don’t flatter yourself, you can’t destroy me. And now I have the Seven Chaos Emeralds. Using them, I can revive the Black Comet, complete with Black Arms! However, I’ll have to…magnify their powers if I want to do something like that…” Black Doom answered, his voice in a low whisper.
“No! You can’t be talking about…” Knuckles the Echidna gasped.
“Yes…I am…the Master Emerald!” Black Doom laughed.
“I won’t let you do that, Doom!” Knuckles yelled out.
The red echidna jumped toward the leader of the Black Arms, but he swatted him away with ease. He landed on his stomach, and Sonic ran up to make sure he was alright. He was, though Black Doom had done extreme damage to him. With that, Black Doom’s eyes flashed red and soon his entire body did as well.
“Chaos…Control!” The black alien yelled.
“Come back here!” Shadow yelled, leaping forward to attack Black Doom just as Knuckles did before.
However, before Shadow could attack Black Doom, he’d disappeared…
Black Doom reappeared at the Master Emerald Shrine. Floating up to the giant green emerald, he placed the seven Chaos Emeralds around it. All of the gems started flashing, and when the light died down, the Chaos Emeralds were nearly the size of Sonic the Hedgehog himself, though maintained the same colors. Black Doom telepathically lifted them into the air, and they all started glowing much brighter than the Chaos Emeralds would when activated. The light they created actually lit up all of Angel Island, completely engulfing it!
Sonic and Shadow had ran extremely fast in an attempt to reach Angel Island before Black Doom could activate the Super Emeralds, but by the time they’d reached the island it was too late. Black Doom had just activated them, and they’d arrived just as the light they created swallowed up Angel Island. However, Shadow still had a trick up his sleeve.
“Sonic, stay here. I’m gonna end this before it begins.” Shadow glared, running deep into the island.
Shadow arrived next to Black Doom, nearly blinded by the intense light surrounding him but just able to make out everything around him. He saw the seven Super Emeralds, not exactly sure what Black Doom had done to them considering he’d never witnessed them transform before. Shadow saw the Super Emeralds spin around Black Doom, and he began to speak.
“Super Emeralds…heed my command and revive my race along with our feared Black Comet!” He yelled. “Show these humans that the Black Arms don’t fall quite as easily as they’d originally thought!”
In the center of the Super Emeralds, directly above Black Doom’s head, a small sphere of meteorite materialized. Shadow instantly knew what it was- the Black Comet, except it needed time to grow. The light engulfing Angel Island died down, and the meteorite started growing slowly. Shadow ran a little closer to it, and a dome of energy formed around him.
“Chaos…BLAST!” He yelled.
Unleashing his devastating attack, Shadow tried to destroy the ever-growing Black Comet. The attack harmed Black Doom, but when Shadow looked up at the small meteorite, he saw that he hadn’t even scratched it! It just continued to get larger, surging with black static energy. Shadow took a step back, shocked and wide-eyed.
“That’s right…Until it reaches its maximum size, the Black Comet is indestructible; protected by the Super Emeralds!” Black Doom said tauntingly.
Shadow thought for a moment, and glared up at the Black Comet, which was growing more rapidly but it would still take a while for it to reach its maximum size. Then, the black hedgehog looked up confidently, and jumped up over Black Doom.
“CHAOS CONTROL!” Shadow yelled, placing one of his hand firmly on a Super Emerald and the other on the ever-enlarging Black Comet.
Black Doom tried to react, but before he could do so the growing Black Comet was gone, and Shadow was already on the ground, smirking. The seven Super Emeralds turned back to their ordinary forms- the Chaos Emeralds. With that, they all flew off in different directions, leaving a very angered Black Doom and a satisfied Shadow.
“Shadow, you fool. If only I’d never trusted you in the first place…” Black Doom grunted, clenching his fist tightly. “I shall have my vengeance!”
He prepared to launch a beam of black energy at Shadow, when suddenly a blue sphere shot toward the alien’s head! It hit him directly, and he stumbled backwards. Sonic the Hedgehog landed next to Shadow and smirked coolly.
“You never ceased to piss me off…” Shadow sighed, shaking his head slowly, then turned his head to look at Black Doom. “Black Doom, face it, you can come back as many times as you want, but no matter how many times you escape from hell I’ll be there to send you back.”
“Don’t sound so confident, Shadow. As we speak, the Black Comet is returning to its former size and when it does, Black Arms will be created faster than you can count. Before you know it, they’ll be more numerous than ever.” Black Doom growled. “Time to make my leave…Chaos CONTROL!”
With that, Black Doom started glowing brightly, and seconds later he was gone. Sonic didn’t seem too concerned, but Shadow stared up into the sky angrily.
“Damn you, Black Doom…I’ll find you and make sure I kill you this time!” Shadow yelled out.

Meanwhile…
“Curse that Sonic…” Dr. Eggman grumbled under his breath as he floated away in his busted up Egg-O-Matic, which was spewing smoke from several places. “I’ve underestimated him for the last time! It would appear my Egg-Pawns and all of my newer weapons are much too weak to defeat him…I knew it was a bad idea, but I was convinced I could perfect them…Lucky for me, that ‘doomsday machine’ was merely a distraction…”
His Egg-O-Matic floated clumsily through the air, apparently heading toward the mountains. It nearly crashed a few times, and was getting severely scratched up from a few collisions along the way. Eggman sighed a puff of dark gray smoke, and looked ahead at the mountains.
<Yes…merely something with which to bide my time…Though I was kind of hoping it would get the job done… > He thought. <For I, Dr. Ivo Robotnik, am going back to my roots…To when I was a villain to be taken seriously! >
He arrived at the mountains, and his Egg-O-Matic finally gave out. It fell to the ground, and hit the rocky earth with a thud. Eggman rolled out and fell flat on his stomach, arms stretched out. Shaking it off, he pushed himself off the ground and stumbled over to the foot of the closest mountain, which also happened to be the largest. Looking around himself in a full circle, he lifted the top off of a rock, revealing a secret button. Pressing it, part of the rock lifted revealing a closed metal door, as well as a key-board which was used to in-put a password. Eggman pressed the buttons in the order of ‘I Am The E.G.G.M.A.N.’ Slowly, the door lifted up into the mountain and revealed a secret passageway.
Eggman walked inside, going through a rocky tunnel. When he got to the end, he pressed another button located on the wall, closing the door. He took another step forward, revealing that the mountain was actually hallowed out into a simply gargantuan laboratory. The walls were lined with computers and several tubes were located in front of them. But what was most impressive was what was in the center…
Lying in the middle of Eggman’s secret base was a giant dark blue ship shaped like an egg, though it was more circular and perfectly-round, taking up nearly the whole mountain-base itself. It reached the top of the mountain, and at its widest it stretched to the sides of it. Near the center was what looked like a huge crater with a needle sticking out of it. Above the needle was two eyes and below it what looked like a little like a mustache. It was apparently meant to look like Eggman’s face. Several windows lined a few levels of the monstrosity, each one lit up. In addition, hundreds of turrets jetted out from seemingly every point of the ship, ready to fire at any given moment.
“As I said…I am going back to my roots with this- an up-grade to what may have been my greatest creation! My Death Egg! Mwahahaha!” Eggman shouted following it up with a truly evil laughter. <Not only that, but I’m scrapping my pathetic Egg-Pawns and returning to my original animal-based robots…except enhanced to be much more powerful, and they no longer require animals to power them. In other words, my army is no longer dependant on the filthy urchins…The era of the Eggman Empire is now closer than ever! > He thought darkly. “Now…time to send this baby into orbit.”
The doctor walked toward the incredible ship, facing a door on the front. He pressed a button on a keyboard next to the door, and it slid upward, opening up the doorway. Eggman walked inside, closing the door and locking it behind him. He walked forward, revealing that the base of his Death Egg contained his most powerful robots from the past, such as the Egg Viper, Egg Breaker, and even his old-school robots- such as the one he used against Sonic in Metropolis Zone, Silver Sonic, even his last defense against Super Sonic in the part of his legacy which Eggman named ‘The Doomsday.’ They all floated inside tubes that were just large enough to hold them.
Eggman walked through all of his old robots to the center of the ship, which actually took him quite a while. In the center was an elevator. Eggman pressed a button on it and the door opened up. Walking inside, Eggman pressed the button that would get him to the top floor of the ship. When the ship arrived, the doors slide open and Eggman walked out slowly, into what looked to be a huge arena where two fighters would battle it out. Standing in the middle of the arena looked like a black, robotic version of Sonic the Hedgehog. However, it was inactive. Eggman walked past it to the door at the other end of the arena. Opening the door, he walked into the cockpit.
“Time to launch the latest version of my Death Egg…and begin the greatest age this earth has ever seen! The age of Dr. Robotnik!!!” Eggman laughed, sitting down in a chair at the end of the cockpit opposite the door.
He searched the large dashboard for the correct button to press. Slamming his fist down on a red flashing one, he tilted his head upward to look out the windshield. When he did, he saw that the mountain was actually opening up! The thrusters on the bottom of the Death Egg ignited, and the entire base was blasted to bits underneath the huge fire created by the thrusters!
<No matter…This Death Egg is all I’m going to need! > Eggman thought as the mountain opened up and the Death Egg launched into the air…

“Sir, a mysterious airship has appeared on radar.” A GUN Soldier reported, looking at a radar screen on a dashboard.
“Damn…First the Black Comet reappears, now this…Do we have confirmation on who’s launching it?” A higher-ranked GUN Officer asked.
“I’m afraid not, sir.” The GUN Soldier sighed. “But I can tell you that…it’s rather Egg-shaped.”
“Dr. Ivo Robotnik…” A dark, evil voice said from behind the two.
Both of the GUN Agents turned their heads, along with everyone else in what appeared to be a large control room. Standing in front of the doorway leading into the room was a tall man with silver hair. He was dressed in the uniform of the GUN Commander, signifying that apparently he were the leader of GUN. His eyes were a dark crimson color, making him look very menacing. He took a few steps forward, his hands behind his back, and shook his head.
“That fool could never amount to anything, let alone cause us any trouble. What we should be focusing on is taking down the Black Comet. I don’t know how it came back, but our prime concern should be taking it down once again. We all know how to do it, though…The Eclipse Cannon is the only weapon capable of destroying that thing, but it was evacuated after Devil Doom was killed. The only problem is, the Chaos Emeralds are what controls the cannon. So unless we can get them, our endeavors are hopeless. You all know your mission.” The man said, glaring.
“Yes, sir.” All of the officers and soldiers in the room saluted and spoke briskly.
“I’ll forward this information to all other GUN Bases. Soon all of GUN will be after the Emeralds. If you see any Black Arms inhabiting the earth, you know what to do. Send them to hell the hard way. We can NOT let them get too numerous. If we do…well…you all know what happens then.” The GUN Commander sighed. <That foolish Commander GUN had before he…That man had no idea what to do with the power and authority that comes with being the leader of GUN. True, you must deceive these men a little, but if one stays calm they’ll do whatever I want… >
He turned around and walked out of the control room, into a hallway. Then, his serious look turned pure evil.
<It really helps me achieve my goals…Soon, I shall hold all of the cards. Once the Eclipse Cannon is ready to fire, nobody will be able to deny me complete ownership of the earth. Otherwise…I destroy it from the safety of the Space Colony ARK. If these GUN Soldiers turn against me…well…I’m prepared for that… > The GUN Commander thought, walking further down the hall…

In Other Words…
…Black Doom survived the fight with Super Shadow and brought back the Black Comet using the Super Emeralds, and is currently in the process of reviving the Black Arms to their former glory. Unfortunately, this caused the Super Emeralds to fly off across the earth, returning to their original Chaos Emerald states. So now he has to re-collect them in order to send the Black Comet back to the earth through the atmosphere thanks to what Shadow did. At the same time, Eggman has gone back to his roots and has just launched the latest version of his Death Egg, as well as dumped the Egg Pawns and went back to his old Animal-Based Robots. He wants to collect the Emeralds for the same reasons as he always has- to take over the world. As if that weren’t enough, GUN has a new pure evil commander. This commander wishes to collect the Chaos Emeralds, claiming to want to use them to destroy the Black Comet. However, he actually wants to use them to threaten to destroy the earth with the Eclipse Cannon unless they give him complete leadership of the planet. Now…Sonic and Co. don’t just have one or two forces trying to conquer the earth, but three. It’s obvious they can’t do it alone…

Super Form: Yes. When Zero transforms, his fur becomes solid-silver (and no, I'm not ripping off Shadow, because it's been confirmed his Super Form is yellow), and the tips of his spikes become a VERY dark crimson color that makes them look almost black. He's also surrounded by a golden aurora, like most other Super Forms. His eyes, however, remain the same, except they look more intense and ready for anything.
Can You Use Chaos Powers?: Yes.
Personality: Zero is very mysterious. He doesn't seem to fight for any one side. He's against Metal Sonic, yet at the same time he's trying to collect the Chaos Emeralds for his own needs, and would even be willing to go through Sonic and his friends to get to them. In reality, he'd give up his own life to save another, but he's afraid to admit that- even to himself. That's right, he doesn't know it but he has a heart of gold. He tries to avoid conversations, and getting into any sort of relationship, even a mere friendship. He hates having to rely on others, because he feels that in order to assure success he needs to finish the job himself. He also always seems to have a shroud of mystery surrounding him that keeps people guessing about who he really is and what exactly he's trying to collect the Chaos Emeralds for. In actuality, not even Zero himself knows, but he's sure that only by collecting all seven will he be able to unlock the answers. Zero is also determined in the field of battle, and simply won't give up until it's completely over. He knows that no matter how out-matched he may appear, nothing can stop him from reaching his goals. He's pretty similar to Shadow the Hedgehog, but at the same time different in many ways.
Appearance: Zero's main body is black, and his eyes are a somewhat dark red color, but not so that it makes him look insane. It makes him look a little darker though, and one look into them tells you that you don't stand a chance. He actually greatly resembles Shadow the Hedgehog in looks as well as personality, except whatever is red on Shadow is gold on Zero (the tips of his spikes, mainly). He wears plain white gloves like the other Sonic characters. Zero wears red and black sneakers with a strange symbol on the backs. His most intriguing feature, however, is a chain around his neck with a very small gem on it. It's not yet known what it's used for, but it's obvious it has nothing to do with his power level, because it fell off before and he was just as powerful as ever without it. He's the same height as the other Sonic characters.
History: NOTES: This is unknown to Zero, so don't bring it up to him during the RP unless you have some reason for knowing and want to reveal it do him. Also, it contains minor spoilers for those who didn't yet beat Shadow the Hedgehog.
It's said that Black Doom only gave one sample of his blood to Dr. Gerald Robotnik, so he could create Shadow the Hedgehog. However, this is wrong. Black Doom actually gave two samples of his blood- one did, in fact, go to Gerald Robotnik. However, the other sample...was infused with another chemical that allowed it to grow into a living being without the help of anyone else, and become much more powerful than it would've if someone had sped along the process. Although, this took much longer than it normally would. So, around the same time Sonic the Hedgehog was born, so was Zero. That's why Zero is the same age as Sonic was at the time. So, Zero the Hedgehog was born without an official name, without a true identity of his own.
Zero named himself what he did because he didn't truly have a name, and he felt Zero represented emptiness and not knowing anything- just as he had started from nothing. He soon learned of the heroic hedgehog, Sonic, who'd triumphed over the evil Dr. Robotnik many times with the help of his friends, and longed to be a hero like he was. Sonic knew who he was, and where he came from...the thing Zero wanted more than anything.
He soon learned of the Chaos Emeralds, and instantly something was revealed to him, though he didn't know how- he could use the Chaos Abilities (Chaos Blast, Chaos Control, and Chaos Spear), as well as his own signature attack- the Chaos Beam, AND that he could run just as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog...maybe...just maybe even faster... Just knowing that little of his past made him realize there was hope for finding out who he was- so he was off to find the Chaos Emeralds...to find himself.
So, he spent the next few years running across the earth, defeating different opponents and getting stronger and stronger. Before long, he found out about all of the chaos going on in the world, and how seemingly everybody was looking for the Chaos Emeralds. Glaring as he heard this information, he realized he’d have to up the ante and double his efforts. He swore he’d find them before the newly revived Black Arms, GUN, Eggman, and Sonic’s group. So, with that, he was off on his own to find the Emeralds for his own purposes. Little did he know, however, his life was about to go through dramatic changes. And while he might not have been fighting for any one side in particular at the moment, he could be among the deciding factors in the imminent war that was almost sure to take place in the near-future…
Other Info: Since I created Zero, he sort of had a relationship with Rouge the Bat. Not because I’m a Rouge Fan boy (honestly, real girls<<<<<<pixels on a screen), but in every RP I use Zero in, he is always paired with Rouge. It’s part of this continuity I’m trying to make for him which started with a Sonic RP I joined way back in ‘04. He never has a crush on her when he meets her, but he usually develops one over the course of the RP. If someone wishes to sign-up as Rouge, keep in mind that if you don’t want to be paired with Zero you’ll have to say so. Black Doom telepathically lifted them into the air, and they all started glowing much brighter than the Chaos Emeralds would when activated. The light they created actually lit up all of Angel Island, completely engulfing it!
Sonic and Shadow had ran extremely fast in an attempt to reach Angel Island before Black Doom could activate the Super Emeralds, but by the time they’d reached the island it was too late. Black Doom had just activated them, and they’d arrived just as the light they created swallowed up Angel Island. However, Shadow still had a trick up his sleeve.
“Sonic, stay here. I’m gonna end this before it begins.” Shadow glared, running deep into the island.
Shadow arrived next to Black Doom, nearly blinded by the intense light surrounding him but just able to make out everything around him. He saw the seven Super Emeralds, not exactly sure what Black Doom had done to them considering he’d never witnessed them transform before. Shadow saw the Super Emeralds spin around Black Doom, and he began to speak.
“Super Emeralds…heed my command and revive my race along with our feared Black Comet!” He yelled. “Show these humans that the Black Arms don’t fall quite as easily as they’d originally thought!”
In the center of the Super Emeralds, directly above Black Doom’s head, a small sphere of meteorite materialized. Shadow instantly knew what it was- the Black Comet, except it needed time to grow. The light engulfing Angel Island died down, and the meteorite started growing slowly. Shadow ran a little closer to it, and a dome of energy formed around him.
“Chaos…BLAST!” He yelled.
Unleashing his devastating attack, Shadow tried to destroy the ever-growing Black Comet. The attack harmed Black Doom, but when Shadow looked up at the small meteorite, he saw that he hadn’t even scratched it! It just continued to get larger, surging with black static energy. Shadow took a step back, shocked and wide-eyed.
“That’s right…Until it reaches its maximum size, the Black Comet is indestructible; protected by the Super Emeralds!” Black Doom said tauntingly.
Shadow thought for a moment, and glared up at the Black Comet, which was growing more rapidly but it would still take a while for it to reach its maximum size. Then, the black hedgehog looked up confidently, and jumped up over Black Doom.
“CHAOS CONTROL!” Shadow yelled, placing one of his hand firmly on a Super Emerald and the other on the ever-enlarging Black Comet.
Black Doom tried to react, but before he could do so the growing Black Comet was gone, and Shadow was already on the ground, smirking. The seven Super Emeralds turned back to their ordinary forms- the Chaos Emeralds. With that, they all flew off in different directions, leaving a very angered Black Doom and a satisfied Shadow.
“Shadow, you fool. If only I’d never trusted you in the first place…” Black Doom grunted, clenching his fist tightly. “I shall have my vengeance!”
He prepared to launch a beam of black energy at Shadow, when suddenly a blue sphere shot toward the alien’s head! It hit him directly, and he stumbled backwards. Sonic the Hedgehog landed next to Shadow and smirked coolly.
“You never ceased to piss me off…” Shadow sighed, shaking his head slowly, then turned his head to look at Black Doom. “Black Doom, face it, you can come back as many times as you want, but no matter how many times you escape from hell I’ll be there to send you back.”
“Don’t sound so confident, Shadow. As we speak, the Black Comet is returning to its former size and when it does, Black Arms will be created faster than you can count. Before you know it, they’ll be more numerous than ever.” Black Doom growled. “Time to make my leave…Chaos CONTROL!”
With that, Black Doom started glowing brightly, and seconds later he was gone. Sonic didn’t seem too concerned, but Shadow stared up into the sky angrily.
“Damn you, Black Doom…I’ll find you and make sure I kill you this time!” Shadow yelled out.

Meanwhile…
“Curse that Sonic…” Dr. Eggman grumbled under his breath as he floated away in his busted up Egg-O-Matic, which was spewing smoke from several places. “I’ve underestimated him for the last time! It would appear my Egg-Pawns and all of my newer weapons are much too weak to defeat him…I knew it was a bad idea, but I was convinced I could perfect them…Lucky for me, that ‘doomsday machine’ was merely a distraction…”
His Egg-O-Matic floated clumsily through the air, apparently heading toward the mountains. It nearly crashed a few times, and was getting severely scratched up from a few collisions along the way. Eggman sighed a puff of dark gray smoke, and looked ahead at the mountains.
<Yes…merely something with which to bide my time…Though I was kind of hoping it would get the job done… > He thought. <For I, Dr. Ivo Robotnik, am going back to my roots…To when I was a villain to be taken seriously! >
He arrived at the mountains, and his Egg-O-Matic finally gave out. It fell to the ground, and hit the rocky earth with a thud. Eggman rolled out and fell flat on his stomach, arms stretched out. Shaking it off, he pushed himself off the ground and stumbled over to the foot of the closest mountain, which also happened to be the largest. Looking around himself in a full circle, he lifted the top off of a rock, revealing a secret button. Pressing it, part of the rock lifted revealing a closed metal door, as well as a key-board which was used to in-put a password. Eggman pressed the buttons in the order of ‘I Am The E.G.G.M.A.N.’ Slowly, the door lifted up into the mountain and revealed a secret passageway.
Eggman walked inside, going through a rocky tunnel. When he got to the end, he pressed another button located on the wall, closing the door. He took another step forward, revealing that the mountain was actually hallowed out into a simply gargantuan laboratory. The walls were lined with computers and several tubes were located in front of them. But what was most impressive was what was in the center…
Lying in the middle of Eggman’s secret base was a giant dark blue ship shaped like an egg, though it was more circular and perfectly-round, taking up nearly the whole mountain-base itself. It reached the top of the mountain, and at its widest it stretched to the sides of it. Near the center was what looked like a huge crater with a needle sticking out of it. Above the needle was two eyes and below it what looked like a little like a mustache. It was apparently meant to look like Eggman’s face. Several windows lined a few levels of the monstrosity, each one lit up. In addition, hundreds of turrets jetted out from seemingly every point of the ship, ready to fire at any given moment.
“As I said…I am going back to my roots with this- an up-grade to what may have been my greatest creation! My Death Egg! Mwahahaha!” Eggman shouted following it up with a truly evil laughter. <Not only that, but I’m scrapping my pathetic Egg-Pawns and returning to my original animal-based robots…except enhanced to be much more powerful, and they no longer require animals to power them. In other words, my army is no longer dependant on the filthy urchins…The era of the Eggman Empire is now closer than ever! > He thought darkly. “Now…time to send this baby into orbit.”
The doctor walked toward the incredible ship, facing a door on the front. He pressed a button on a keyboard next to the door, and it slid upward, opening up the doorway. Eggman walked inside, closing the door and locking it behind him. He walked forward, revealing that the base of his Death Egg contained his most powerful robots from the past, such as the Egg Viper, Egg Breaker, and even his old-school robots- such as the one he used against Sonic in Metropolis Zone, Silver Sonic, even his last defense against Super Sonic in the part of his legacy which Eggman named ‘The Doomsday.’ They all floated inside tubes that were just large enough to hold them.
Eggman walked through all of his old robots to the center of the ship, which actually took him quite a while. In the center was an elevator. Eggman pressed a button on it and the door opened up. Walking inside, Eggman pressed the button that would get him to the top floor of the ship. When the ship arrived, the doors slide open and Eggman walked out slowly, into what looked to be a huge arena where two fighters would battle it out. Standing in the middle of the arena looked like a black, robotic version of Sonic the Hedgehog. However, it was inactive. Eggman walked past it to the door at the other end of the arena. Opening the door, he walked into the cockpit.
“Time to launch the latest version of my Death Egg…and begin the greatest age this earth has ever seen! The age of Dr. Robotnik!!!” Eggman laughed, sitting down in a chair at the end of the cockpit opposite the door.
He searched the large dashboard for the correct button to press. Slamming his fist down on a red flashing one, he tilted his head upward to look out the windshield. When he did, he saw that the mountain was actually opening up! The thrusters on the bottom of the Death Egg ignited, and the entire base was blasted to bits underneath the huge fire created by the thrusters!
<No matter…This Death Egg is all I’m going to need! > Eggman thought as the mountain opened up and the Death Egg launched into the air…

“Sir, a mysterious airship has appeared on radar.” A GUN Soldier reported, looking at a radar screen on a dashboard.
“Damn…First the Black Comet reappears, now this…Do we have confirmation on who’s launching it?” A higher-ranked GUN Officer asked.
“I’m afraid not, sir.” The GUN Soldier sighed. “But I can tell you that…it’s rather Egg-shaped.”
“Dr. Ivo Robotnik…” A dark, evil voice said from behind the two.
Both of the GUN Agents turned their heads, along with everyone else in what appeared to be a large control room. Standing in front of the doorway leading into the room was a tall man with silver hair. He was dressed in the uniform of the GUN Commander, signifying that apparently he were the leader of GUN. His eyes were a dark crimson color, making him look very menacing. He took a few steps forward, his hands behind his back, and shook his head.
“That fool could never amount to anything, let alone cause us any trouble. What we should be focusing on is taking down the Black Comet. I don’t know how it came back, but our prime concern should be taking it down once again. We all know how to do it, though…The Eclipse Cannon is the only weapon capable of destroying that thing, but it was evacuated after Devil Doom was killed. The only problem is, the Chaos Emeralds are what controls the cannon. So unless we can get them, our endeavors are hopeless. You all know your mission.” The man said, glaring.
“Yes, sir.” All of the officers and soldiers in the room saluted and spoke briskly.
“I’ll forward this information to all other GUN Bases. Soon all of GUN will be after the Emeralds. If you see any Black Arms inhabiting the earth, you know what to do. Send them to hell the hard way. We can NOT let them get too numerous. If we do…well…you all know what happens then.” The GUN Commander sighed. <That foolish Commander GUN had before he…That man had no idea what to do with the power and authority that comes with being the leader of GUN. True, you must deceive these men a little, but if one stays calm they’ll do whatever I want… >
He turned around and walked out of the control room, into a hallway. Then, his serious look turned pure evil.
<It really helps me achieve my goals…Soon, I shall hold all of the cards. Once the Eclipse Cannon is ready to fire, nobody will be able to deny me complete ownership of the earth. Otherwise…I destroy it from the safety of the Space Colony ARK. If these GUN Soldiers turn against me…well…I’m prepared for that… > The GUN Commander thought, walking further down the hall…

In Other Words…
…Black Doom survived the fight with Super Shadow and brought back the Black Comet using the Super Emeralds, and is currently in the process of reviving the Black Arms to their former glory. Unfortunately, this caused the Super Emeralds to fly off across the earth, returning to their original Chaos Emerald states. So now he has to re-collect them in order to send the Black Comet back to the earth through the atmosphere thanks to what Shadow did. At the same time, Eggman has gone back to his roots and has just launched the latest version of his Death Egg, as well as dumped the Egg Pawns and went back to his old Animal-Based Robots. He wants to collect the Emeralds for the same reasons as he always has- to take over the world. As if that weren’t enough, GUN has a new pure evil commander. This commander wishes to collect the Chaos Emeralds, claiming to want to use them to destroy the Black Comet. However, he actually wants to use them to threaten to destroy the earth with the Eclipse Cannon unless they give him complete leadership of the planet. Now…Sonic and Co. don’t just have one or two forces trying to conquer the earth, but three. It’s obvious they can’t do it alone…

Here’s my character. Your sign-up doesn’t have to be as long as mine, but try to make it a good length at the very least. Basically, the longer the better.

Species: Hedgehog (how creative!)
Super Form: Yes. When Zero transforms, his fur becomes solid-silver (and no, I'm not ripping off Shadow, because it's been confirmed his Super Form is yellow), and the tips of his spikes become a VERY dark crimson color that makes them look almost black. He's also surrounded by a golden aurora, like most other Super Forms. His eyes, however, remain the same, except they look more intense and ready for anything.
Can You Use Chaos Powers?: Yes.
Personality: Zero is very mysterious. He doesn't seem to fight for any one side. He's against Metal Sonic, yet at the same time he's trying to collect the Chaos Emeralds for his own needs, and would even be willing to go through Sonic and his friends to get to them. In reality, he'd give up his own life to save another, but he's afraid to admit that- even to himself. That's right, he doesn't know it but he has a heart of gold. He tries to avoid conversations, and getting into any sort of relationship, even a mere friendship. He hates having to rely on others, because he feels that in order to assure success he needs to finish the job himself. He also always seems to have a shroud of mystery surrounding him that keeps people guessing about who he really is and what exactly he's trying to collect the Chaos Emeralds for. In actuality, not even Zero himself knows, but he's sure that only by collecting all seven will he be able to unlock the answers. Zero is also determined in the field of battle, and simply won't give up until it's completely over. He knows that no matter how out-matched he may appear, nothing can stop him from reaching his goals. He's pretty similar to Shadow the Hedgehog, but at the same time different in many ways.
Appearance: Zero's main body is black, and his eyes are a somewhat dark red color, but not so that it makes him look insane. It makes him look a little darker though, and one look into them tells you that you don't stand a chance. He actually greatly resembles Shadow the Hedgehog in looks as well as personality, except whatever is red on Shadow is gold on Zero (the tips of his spikes, mainly). He wears plain white gloves like the other Sonic characters. Zero wears red and black sneakers with a strange symbol on the backs. His most intriguing feature, however, is a chain around his neck with a very small gem on it. It's not yet known what it's used for, but it's obvious it has nothing to do with his power level, because it fell off before and he was just as powerful as ever without it. He's the same height as the other Sonic characters.
History: NOTES: This is unknown to Zero, so don't bring it up to him during the RP unless you have some reason for knowing and want to reveal it do him. Also, it contains minor spoilers for those who didn't yet beat Shadow the Hedgehog.
It's said that Black Doom only gave one sample of his blood to Dr. Gerald Robotnik, so he could create Shadow the Hedgehog. However, this is wrong. Black Doom actually gave two samples of his blood- one did, in fact, go to Gerald Robotnik. However, the other sample...was infused with another chemical that allowed it to grow into a living being without the help of anyone else, and become much more powerful than it would've if someone had sped along the process. Although, this took much longer than it normally would. So, around the same time Sonic the Hedgehog was born, so was Zero. That's why Zero is the same age as Sonic was at the time. So, Zero the Hedgehog was born without an official name, without a true identity of his own.
Zero named himself what he did because he didn't truly have a name, and he felt Zero represented emptiness and not knowing anything- just as he had started from nothing. He soon learned of the heroic hedgehog, Sonic, who'd triumphed over the evil Dr. Robotnik many times with the help of his friends, and longed to be a hero like he was. Sonic knew who he was, and where he came from...the thing Zero wanted more than anything.
He soon learned of the Chaos Emeralds, and instantly something was revealed to him, though he didn't know how- he could use the Chaos Abilities (Chaos Blast, Chaos Control, and Chaos Spear), as well as his own signature attack- the Chaos Beam, AND that he could run just as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog...maybe...just maybe even faster... Just knowing that little of his past made him realize there was hope for finding out who he was- so he was off to find the Chaos Emeralds...to find himself.
So, he spent the next few years running across the earth, defeating different opponents and getting stronger and stronger. Before long, he found out about all of the chaos going on in the world, and how seemingly everybody was looking for the Chaos Emeralds. Glaring as he heard this information, he realized he’d have to up the ante and double his efforts. He swore he’d find them before the newly revived Black Arms, GUN, Eggman, and Sonic’s group. So, with that, he was off on his own to find the Emeralds for his own purposes. Little did he know, however, his life was about to go through dramatic changes. And while he might not have been fighting for any one side in particular at the moment, he could be among the deciding factors in the imminent war that was almost sure to take place in the near-future…
Other Info: Since I created Zero, he sort of had a relationship with Rouge the Bat. Not because I’m a Rouge Fan boy (honestly, real girls<<<<<<pixels on a screen), but in every RP I use Zero in, he is always paired with Rouge. It’s part of this continuity I’m trying to make for him which started with a Sonic RP I joined way back in ‘04. He never has a crush on her when he meets her, but he usually develops one over the course of the RP. If someone wishes to sign-up as Rouge, keep in mind that if you don’t want to be paired with Zero you’ll have to say so. I’ll be more than happy to ‘break them up’ so to speak, but you’ll have to let me know in your sign-up itself.
