Sonic Wild Fire gameplay

Also, this game could interact with Wii connect 24. This is an idea from Gfaqs.

Ideas

If not other playable charaters why not charater skins you can get Via Wii24 thing or completing certain ingame task.

Skins would include:

Shadow
Tails
Knux
Silver

So it could work right? No real gameplay effect.

The possibilites seem endless.

I like the idea of the game but if all Sonic is going to do is just run through a level without much interaction then it might not be as good as a normal Sonic game. All we can do is wait till next year I guess...

I'm personally excited for this. It looks a lot more like old-school Sonic than any other 3D Sonic game.

As much of a Sonic fan I am, I'm slightly concerned. The new style for 3d Sonic seems a bit too boring, and it seems that you'll have less control. From what I've heard, all it is is running in a straight line and moving left and right to dodge and attack things, though I may be wrong =/ Oh well, I'm gonna try it anyway.

Am I the only one who saw nothing wrong with the original 3d games? Sonic Team's trying to fix something that isn't broken IMO.

erm you are one of the few who think that. There were tons of problems with the 3D ones including the uneccesary inclusion of new characters this time. Also Sonic Wildfire seems like a lot of fun from what I've seen.

Actully, I liked SA2 and Shadow was okay. However you have a point, it takes a while for stories to join together.

I don't know if I will get this game. If all you do is run through the level like in the old Sonic games, I doubt I'll get it. I'd rather have something like SA1 where you have Adventure Fields to run around in or whatever, just to give you a bit more freedom to do what you want.

I can understand why people are concerend about if it is going to be good or not, but remember that part of the fun of any game on Wii will be how you controll it. I think that it sounds like a great idea tilting the controller to move left and right. I will be getting it.

Sonic Adventure & Sonic Adventure 2 were awesome. I wish there was a Sonic Adventure 3 - but I have a feeling we will never see that ever again.

Yeah, Im concerned with this game as well. The ones on Xbox360 & PS3 might be way better...but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

You aren't the only one. I liked the gameplay of Sonic Adventure. I was really hoping Sonic Wildfire would be similar. Graphics-wise, it looks great. Gameplay-wise, I'm concerned. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

If all you're after is a new Sonic Adventure, you'd be better off getting SONIC 2006 for the 360 and PS3. It's basically the spiritual successor to the Adventure games, and will no doubt be little better than them. >_>
