Sony says a bunch of stuff is required for 360 which isnt, and Wii online costs money

The Wii won't be much better though. I mean, the controler is wireless and can be used as a hand, sword, ect.. and the price on it will suck too. I can't forget to mention that it will have like, no games.

But yeah, Sony's reeeeeally getting desperate here. I think they're fully aware that several people are on to their little BS game and just have to continue lying to try to get people interested.

WOW! It was sarcasim! How did you people not know that? There have been like, a zillion games that are going to come out for the Wii. It only costs like, 250$, and the wireless controller rocks!

The Playstation 3's cost is obviously not counting it's 4-D capabilitys which are payed for in 200 ultra space bucks whose current exchange rate roughly equals 10000 US dollars.

If Nintendo is going to charge for Wi-FI, BUY MORE SERVERS. Please, DS is horrible right now when it comes to servers.

Hopefully it won't be much. However I will probably not use Wi-Fi alltogether simply because it will become to comptitive.


Edit: Whoops. misread the article. Sony tries to make it look like that Wi-Fi multiplayer costs money. The internet browser is pointless since it is a console and you should already have internet...

Sony is just trying to make themselves look good.

A lot of people enjoy gaming and surfing with their with it as thier web browsers as well...I really don't see the problem here, but wait till Nintendo does it next gen, it will be INNOVATIVE.

Seriously though, you can like your game console for what you like, and some people can like it for other things. A lot of people seem interested in the Wii's dashboard mode as well for sending emails and what not, I really don't see what's the big problem in it.

i think that a console isn't for surfing the net or checking emails it's for playing games watching DVD etc are just add ons that aren't needed..

I don't see what the harm in it is...it started with the dreamcast and people didn't mind it at all.

Another reason the draw to PS2 was there was because of the DVD playback feature, and while I don't see this happening with Blue Ray, I think people want a bit more bang out of their buck these days than simply "it plays games!"...even Nintendo is offering a bit more with their live weather update and other zany online features as well.
