Please read this article from the "Stars And Stripes" newspaper.
Now lets review what was said.
Who does this sound like? Yeah that's right, Nintendo. So Sony's strategy is to market the PS3 as both a graphics powerhouse (to counter the Xbox 360)and an innovative product (to counter the Wii). We know that the PS3 controller only has basic tilt function. You can't use it in the same ways as the Wii controller. But does it matter?
To the casual or non gamer the PS3 controller has the same abilities as the Wii controller. This is what Sony is banking on. Someone will go, "Hey look at the Nintendo Wii that controller looks like fun!". Then someone else will say, "Yeah, but the PS3 controller can do the same thing, has awesome graphics, and is a Blueray player".
So what is your opinion? Do you think Sony will dominate another generation, or will Nintendo manage to win with true innovation?
Discuss.

The big news was that Sony will match Nintendo’s efforts to create a controller that gamers can wave, swing and maneuver in waves that will affect on-screen action.
Sony says, “More natural and more intuitive play will become possible as if the controller has become part of your body."
