Welcome to Soul Calibur Club, where you can discuss anything about the Soul Calibur series of games.

The Rules:
1/ No discussing Xploder and other such devices's codes
2/ Standard club and forum rules apply, no spamming, no flaming etc.
3/ Also, you must have actually PLAYED at least one of the games.
4/ And, of course, you should only join if you plan on being on Serebii regularly

Ok then, to be more accurate on the earlier point, this exists for gamers who enjoy the Soul Calibur series of games. Here you can discuss favourite characters, move combos, and ask questions such as how to unlock certain characters and weapons. There will be no comments like:

HAHA Y00 LIKE Y0SHIMITSU, Y00 SUX!!!!111

Obviously I have trouble writing spammy, but you get the idea. We do not critisize peoples preferances here. Also, Soul Calibur is a very artistic game, so fan-art you have done or found is allowed to be posted here(obviously if you find it give credit). No hentai though.

Finally, those of you who have played or own Soul Calibur III will more than likely have used the custom character creation option. Here you can discuss/brag about characters you have created, whether they be original or successfully created characters from other games.

Just so you know, I will choose the co-owner. Any requests to be co-owner will be denied.

Now then, shall I start us off with something simple?

Who is your favourite character from the games?
This can be any game, and for me it's a tough choice between Nightmare, NightTerror and Siegfried.

Sophitia and Kilik. I also like Nightmare/Sigfried (same person really) and Talim, except I can't fight with her very well...


I've also created a character on my friend's Soul Caliber III game. He was really awesome to fight with. I PWN with him D:

Oh, and Mimori? If you didn't know, Siegfried and Nightmare are totally seperate beings in SCIII, so they aren't really the same person anymore, though Siegfried is still haunted by the evils he done while he was Nightmare in SC and SCII. :<

Oh, and who thinks there should be a SC manga?

On the mention of custom characters, for no real reason than to show off, I made Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockheart from FFVII on SCIII. Why, I have no clue. But they rock. Cloud's job is Barbarian, and Tifa's a monk. My favourite discipline is DEFINETLY Soul of Nightmare. Because as of yet I haven't found Soul Of Siegfried. If they had made Soul Of NightTerror and Soul Of Abyss I'd be scared.

Embarrassingly, I have yet to play SCI. I've got SCII and SCIII, and both rock. But before the two I'm unsure. And I hear there was a game called 'Soul Edge'? Is that true?

I don't know. We didn't do anything with the stats. All we did was design him and give him weapons :X

Yes. But the name of 'Soul Edge' change into 'Soul Blade' when it was imported from the arcades to the PS1, in America.

Actually, and I hate to argue with you, no they're literally two seperate people in SCIII. Nightmare, in SCIII, is basically a evil enity from the Sword, known as Inferno, who was in both SC and SCII, and Zasalamel did help Nightmare; he's not the real Nightmare that everyone knows and loves.

Siegfried. He's the main protagonist in the Soul series, so he would probably be the character that a 'Soul Calibur manga' would follow.

Oh, and when I mean 'stats', Mimori, I mean what clothing you put on him and the colors you chose for each item of clothing...and stuff. :B

May just change Cloud's class then, depends really. Soul Calibur Zweihander type I find better than Soul Edge Zweihander type, purely because it heals instead of weakens. But Soul Edge Cocoon and Soul Wave are really uselful. Once beat a CPU player using just Soul Wave( Square + Triangle).

Topic: NightTerror or Zasalamel. I haven't unlocked NightTerror yet, but you see him in Nightmare's standard ending, and it ROCKS!

Games: EBAY HERE I COME! I can see Mitsurugi, Voldo, Taki, Sophitia, Rock, Yun Sung, Seung Mina and POSSIBLY Siegfried and Cervantes. Certainly don't recognise the sumo guy/gal it's hard to tell.

Ah, but that's flawed, m'dear, as it's a known fact that I am better and sexier than Siegfried could ever be. And you and I both know that I 'rock your sox' better than Siegfried, baby. ;D

Cloud Eclipse, welcome.

LD, he can, it's just really hard. You have to reach the maze on Tales Of Souls mode with a character WITHOUT losing once, not counting those '**** feels like they're being watched' bits. Once done, you'll first fight Olcadon after the mysterious soul, then Zasalamel, then NightTerror. Beating Olcadon will get you 'The Ancient' form of the character you're using's weapon, and beating NightTerror will unlock..NightTerror and an alternative ending. It is really hard. His only weapon is Soul Edge(complete), and he plays a lot like Nightmare, except with some much more powerful attacks.

I only know thsi beacuse I checked gamesfaq, and my friend told me. He's shinyhoundoom here, and his brother unlocked NightTerror.

So I can assume you can only see his profile then? Well I feel ripped off. *sigh* Still, the alternative endings are supposed to be cool. What I wonder is what'll happen if you use Nightmare? I can generally go without losing for a long time if I use a Soul Calibur-wielding character(Siegfried, Xianghua, Kilik) or Zasalamel, but I can't seem to reach the maze. What choices do I need to make in order to reach it?

If you think thats a pain in the a*s. What till you try it with all characters without losing once and if you do then you have to start over! I always lose when I hit Ivy I can't seem to get her damn whip out! And it seems the comp knows when you let your shield down as soon as you do or it maybe my bad timing skills!lol
