The most disgraceful thing has happened to the Death Note music people. I am afraid to tell you people that Soulja Boy stole the music and made a mixtape. I personally am so furious at this, for one it's copyright infringement and two well it's rap so it's bad.

So what do you people think? Should Soulja Boy get sued or not?

Here is a video of one of his "songs" if you can even call them that. For one he didn't even compose the music and he's talking so yeah last time I checked talking wasn't singing.

This thread, and every other thread whining about hip-hop/rap music:
blah blah blah STUPID black people music RAP MUSIC ISN'T EVEN MUSIC. They sample music STEAL MUSIC from other artists and they don't even sing! This clearly requires no talent. *probably listens to shitty indie rock bands nobody cares about*

PS: You should be honored enough that anyone even bothered sampling a background track from an anime. You're probably one of the few people will ever realize that Soulja Boy sampled "stole" it. And yes, hip-hop and rap tend to sample music from other sources. It is not stealing. If it was stealing, the music industry would have sued itself into oblivion by now.

I'd like to see all the haters who say rap/hip hop isn't music/sucks, try to do a simple rap. And post a video with them rapping.
And it has to be good. If not, then you're worse than rap because you can't even make something that sucks and that isn't music.

Thank you Juppy. Great post finally.

IMO, this is pretty awesome.

I'm not a hater and I think Hip-Hop blows, it died after 2003, then that "Artist" (Don't know her name) made that song based of the Numa-Numa song, that was the final nail in the coffin, if you wan't real hip-hop/rap listen to the underground stuff, because all mainstream rap/hip-hop is directed towards retarted getto street bangers who droped out of school got preg at 14, and wears clothes they said "only white people wear" 3yrs ago, J-pop is where it's at.

People rarely listens to rap nowadays. Why would anyone care if some talentless hack such as Soulja Boy steals music? Rap is already dead anyway...

Pfffffff. Just because nobody YOU know listens to rap doesn't mean that people don't listen to rap.

I'm closing this because there isn't any real discussion here. He sampled the music, he didn't steal it. Plus, Death Note isn't that great anyways.

Everyone needs to stop hatin on Soulja Boy's Super Saiyan Swagger.
