SoulSilver RMT [Do it]

[GS]

Staring at my phone
What's that? A Soul Silver restart? Yuuup.

Not going for anything but fun here. I'm going to be breeding
for natures and egg moves, so feel free to suggest them. I am
open to changing Pokemon, so yea, go wild. I'd like to stay away
from super strong stuff (Mence,TTar, etc.) so think out of the box.

Changes in bold.

Typhlosion @ Choice Scarf
Naive Naure
*Blaze*
~ Eruption
~ Earthquake
~ Shadow Claw/Return
~ Fire Blast/Overheat

Meh, something a bit different. Scarf Eruption is cool, EQ for some
coverage and Shadow Claw hits ghost types hard. The last slot
is for when Eruption is useless. Overheat fits with the Scarf, but
FB is there as an option.

184.png

Azumarill @ Muscle Band
Adamant Nature
*Huge Power*
~ Aqua Jet
~ Waterfall
~ Ice Punch
~ Brick Break

Pretty standard. Went with Muscle Band>Choice Band because I
want to switch attacks /:

182.png

Bellossom @ Big Root
Modest Nature
*Chlorophyll*
~ Giga Drain
~ Stun Spore/HP [Fire]
~ Sludge Bomb
~ Sleep Powder

Haven't used her since my first Silver game, so.. Giga Drain is a
good STAB, Sludge Bomb hits other grass types and Stun Spore/
Sleep Powder spread some status around.

181.png

Ampharos @ Wise Glasses
Modest Nature
*Static*
~ Focus Blast
~ Thunderbolt
~ Signal Beam
~ Thunder Wave

Mainly my specially-bulky attacker. Focus Miss gives me good
coverage with Signal Beam and TBolt, so I don't mind the crappy
accuracy. TWave is annoying and lets me move first.

430.png

Honchkrow @ Expert Belt
Hasty Nature
*Super Luck*
~ Heat Wave
~ Brave Bird
~ Sucker Punch
~ Night Slash/Roost

Honchkrow hurts everything all the time. Heat Wave deals with
steel types, Brave Bird is awesome STAB, as is Sucker Punch
which is also priority. The last slot will probably be Roost, but
Night Slash could ease SP prediction and work off of Super Luck.

472.png

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature
*Hyper Cutter*
~ Aerial Ace
~ Earthquake
~ Swords Dance
~ Rock Slide

Needed a fighting resist? Aerial Ace and EQ are STAB, SD to
boost his good Atk stat and the last slot is between U-Turn to
switch out or Rock Slide for QuakeEdge.

You don't need a Choice Scarf in-game, but I can't think of another filler item. I'd say Wise Glasses, but that's taken.

Shadow Claw could be replaced by Return, there are only two Ghosts in HGSS, Gengar and Misdreavus, both of whom take more damage from Fire Blast and Eruption.

No problems here.

So you're not walled to holy hell by Steel types.

No problems here either.

I'm not one for Roost in-game, that's what Potions are for, and frees up a moveslot.

U-Turn in-game isn't necessary.

Comments in bold.

@ Foxyman: Thanks for the rate dude. ^^

@SLL: A super-effective Power Gem is always outdamaged by a
neutral TBolt, so Power Gem is basically wasting a moveslot.

Power Gem is good, For Bellosom replace Sludge Bomb with Toxic, and Replace Stun Spore with protect. Also replace sleep powder with Leech Seed. This creates an amazing wall. First you poison a foe, dealing damage every turn. After that make sure you use protect then leech seed your foes pokemon. Will make an amazing wall for those powerful pokemon trying to break through your team. Then after that move you can protect again. Dealing damage 2X as much with seed and poison taking him down quickly. You will restore HP from the hit you took when you planted leech seed on the pokemon. Then you can use your giga drain. Creates amazing wall keeping your Bellosom healthy plus amazing 2X damaging poison and leech seed. Your Giga Drain will finish the job off right.

@Jaws: I already explained why I'm not using Power Gem, and Bellossom can't
learn Leech Seed. Lurk more please.

Johto Boy
Ok then get another grass pokemon leech seed is so good for 2X killer

So that means I shouldn't put any text in the quote box? Sorry, I'm kinda lame today. I get what you mean, but I already scanned through the team quickly and, to be honest, if you get some kind of decent team you'll pown anything in-game. Oh, as you might've seen already, instead of using Bolded text I'm in for using Italic today. But, enough chatting, to the rate.

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer accuracy>power in-game. BF could be different, though not a lot generally. Flamethrower also gives you the in-game advantage of having higher pp, so that you can keep using it. Thunderpunch is an option against the lone water type or, more specific, Gyarados.

As you said before, standard, and as someone else said before, fine.

If I were you I'd really stick with HP [Fire], but probably > Sleep Powder. Sleep is less of a trustworthy status condition than (did I use the correct one? I can never make a pick I'm fine with between than and then...) Paralysis. Rest of the set is fine.

Since I'm no good at using SP I usually just don't and stick with Night Slash. I'd put Roost over SP, but it's your choice.

I agree with Rock Slide and the one who gave the reason. It's been said to me as well, and I think I finally get it, AI fails at switching :)

Will work fine for an in-game team. Not that much more to say about it...

Offtopic: Spamming on a topic created by a mod. Auch... Bad idea IMO...

EDIT: Oh really, my italic doesn't show because of the text being quoted, well that s*cks... Bold it is then.
