well his attack is way higher then sp attack.

Alfonc

D/P is almost here!!
Tazzler's set is the best one here.Go with that.

But if you insist on a Special-Pert,then go with this:

Swampert@Leftovers
Quiet nature

Surf
Ice Beam
Earthquake
Mirror Coat/Counter/Rest/Roar

Swampert doesn't really have a good Special Movepool, and his Attack is way better than his Sp.Attack.
The only good Special Moves Pert has are:

Surf
Ice Beam
Hydro Pump

Also, Earthquake and Surf/Hydro Pump will do more than Hidden Power Grass when SE. Waters will be hit harder by EQ than HP Grass. Rocks adn Grounds will also be hit MUCH harder by Q and Surf.

Hidden Power Fire is just stupid. EQ will hit steels and Ice Beam will hit grasses. Ice Types will take more damage from EQ and most of them take nuetral. Ones that take SE (like regice) won't be feeling it that much. Most bugs are weak to ice and besides surf/hydro pump will be denting them.

Soulhess Heat- I gave the better set thats the thing closest to a "special set" and rock slide is dumb.

ヘタリア!
I always thought that Cursepert was really the only Swampert set, it's just that you can decide whether to use Surf, Ice Beam, Muddy Water, or Hydro Pump on it. Subpunchpert was a fad for a while, but I never tried it.

Mirror Coat on Swampert is stupid because it's just asking for a Venusaur or something to switch in and rape you like a Pokesexual. :(

You can't even mirror coat hidden power grasses.

The only thing mirror coat does is maybe a surprise kill on milotic or giga drain gengar or a random unboosted psychic. Maybe.

Mixpert is a common swampert set on NB.

Yeah I know RS isn't to great, go with Rest over it.

As for Muddy Water-That's more of a novelty move like Blaze Kick and Crab Hammer.

Using Mirror Coat is a good idea, for something like Milotic which will probably be sent in on it, or some un-stabbed Giga Drains from Sevipers, Crobat and others like Tentacruels which it may or may-not survive...not sure on how it would hold up to that.

with max SDef and a sassy nature, swampert takes up to 403 damage from a sceptile's leaf blade. with max HP, it has 404. so, you can mirror coat that.

counter > mirror coat, though, IMO. don't use special pert, use mixpert/cursepert.

ffs

Max Sdef is stupid. You would have to use max hp and max special defense for that sole purpose which means you do ****.
