It can, it shares the same Sp.Atk stat with Alakazam. The reason why it's not used often is because of its low Speed and shallow movepool. People prefer to use it as an annoyer with the Sp.Atk stat as backup.

Well, PorygonZ can learn Nasty Plot and interesting special moves, has an hig Special Attack and with Download or Adaptability might be a good choice. I have one and I can say it: PorygonZ rocks sometimes.

My Typhlosion has amazing sp. attack with this set, and it is reasonably fast. Here you go!

My Sceptile is a rather beastly spec. sweeper:

Scpetile - Modest
Agility
Focus Blast
Energy Ball
Dragon Pulse / DragonBreath

Dragon Breath if you want to paralyse, Dragon Pulse if you want to increase attacking oppotunities.

my personal favourite special sweeper is:

Alakazam@wise glasses
modest nature
252 sp. attk evs
252 speed evs;
psychic
energy ball
shadow ball
focusblast

It has the best special attack stat than anyother non-legendary and has good speed
it proves usefull for taking out many pokemon in short periods of time...

Heres my suggestion

Gengar @Modest Life Orb
252 Sp.Atk,252 Spd
Shadow Ball
Psychic
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt

Deals with all its weaknesses gets STAB from Shadow Ball and i like Thunderbolt.

i like gengar cuz its got high sp.atk and speed set up like this:

Gengar (whatever nature gives it [+speed/-atk])
hold item: petaya berry or which ever ups sp.atk
attacks: shadow ball
focus blast
substitute
psychic

using substitute until it's in the red, it triggers the berry and if your going first, its almost a garuenteed KO with good EV's/IV's.

that, and jolteon w/ expert belt or choice specs becuase currently, you have no electric and jolteon is decently strong

Phioneranchman

Brock was pushover!
Here is my Gengar
21/11/15/27/28/29
252 Sp.Attack,252 Speed,4 HP
Toxic
Hypnosis
Thunderbolt
Dark Pulse
Holding Leftovers, Rash Nature
I went with two status moves because of sleep clause. I think a team with one poke asleep and five poisoned is pretty crippled.Hope this helps! I know it's not great so feedback would be appreciated.
