Spinda discusion

Get this THING off!!
Has anyone noticed that every time you meet a Spinda in battle it's spots are always in different areas? I have noticed that a lot and wanted to know if anyone else has.

that's the point of spinda.....
Each value that is assigned to spinda generates a unique "map" as to where each spot is placed or not placed onto its body

It could be a challenge to find 2 Spinda w/ the same spots?

Sure. Be my guest. But I`m just gonna tell you now that it`s VERY hard to do that. The chances of finding 2 Spinda might be even lower than the chances of finding a Shining.

Wasn't that in a poke'mon episode?
Yeah it was....

Anyways, the simplest way I could think of is trading for another spinda with the same pattern.

I tried that when I got my Sapphire. I gave up after catching 300+, though.

If you'd looked close you would have seen that the other spots on its body were in different places. So no, you didn't see two identical Spinda.

If you look for a long time, then perhaps yes.

I don't think so. there has to be some wierd glitch thing. & the heart shape thing was from a pokemon episode, It was "Going for a Spinda"

Yep, every Spinda has its spots in a different position. So if you want two of the same Spindas, it would be impossible. I'm not sure if there is one with a heart shape in the game, however.

Actually it is posible if you try and try for a LONG time. I never heard of one like that before but I`ll try to look for them. Right now I`m currently looking for one with NO spots, One with a fully brown face, and one that has spots in the same areas in the guides.

Interpret each byte in p as (x,y) coordinates of each spot. The least significant 4 bits (lowest nibble) in each byte is the x-coordinate, the highest is the y-coordinate.

Note that 'p' is the PV value.

Ive allways wondered whether its possible to get a spinda without spots. The closest ive come to that is a spinda with a tiny little dot on its face.
