Has anyone noticed that every spinda is different when you find them on route 113?

If you look at the Pokedex entry, you'll see that it says that every Spinda's pattern is unique.

Many people already know this. My guess is that some sort of script randomly generates coordinates for a dark area which is then "stuck" onto some sort of base Spinda sprite. I doubt they went and drew an x number of Spindas each with it's own pattern XD.

It's been known for a long time. That's why you should read every page of serebii.net! lol

On my Emerald game, it's always the same Spinda. maybe it's only on R/S.

no, not true... just because the one in the main site has no spots everyone thinks that all shining spindas has no spots.

also I think that you are the only one that didn´t know that.

There are about 2000 different Spindas. Too bad we can't get a 'Spinda Dex' to keep track...

No!!! Bad idea. I went crazy one time and caught 29 of them. Now I have a box primarily for Spinda and I don't know how to get rid of them to people who want them. I don't like releasing either. Unless you adore Spinda, I don't recommend that.

And, it's kind of funny when it looks like that Spinda has a goty or something. LOL

I think one topic discussed how many spinda there were.. if it remember right, you would need about 4-6 pokemon R/S box mem cards full of spinda to achieve it!

Yeah, its true. It doesn't randomly generate spindas. But there are loads of different types..

Wow...I once heard of a guy who caught 2 Spinda with the same spots. Then again, I hear a lot of things.

And if you catch a shiny Spinda, its spots are green.

I caught a spinda that *almost* had no spots, save a barely visible row of pixels on its forehead and left and right cheeks.

You're telling me that the spots were phisically drawn onto an x number of spindas (x > 2000) by artists? I really don't think so... it would take too much memory up... and they seem pretty random, so I think it's a program behind puting the spots on the spindas. :D

I think there aren't more than 500 kind of Spindas, I met around 35 kinds, but I don't really care for that thing because I hate Spinda.

Also, think about Colosseum and XD. Having to make thousands of 3d Spindas would be too much.

Anyway, this is fun. I'm always wasting my time trying to find the perfect Spinda.
