Spolier tag help

In my sig, I added a spoiler tag by pressing the spoiler button, so its right. I typed it in, and then it won't appear in my sig, yet when I edit my sig, I have the text box filled with my spoiler tag. Why is this, and how can I fix it?

Try posting your signature's entire coding in [*code] [/code] tags (remove the first asterisk).
