Spooky Island: A Pokemon RPG

Several Gem City Scientists have gone missing on Spooky Island. Gem City Labs is offering a Five Million Dollar reward for their recovery. See Sign Up for full details and Please Read The Rules.

6. Post Length
RPG posts are required to be of an adequate length. Short posts are not tolerated. Too many short posts gets an RPG warned. If no change is made then there's a high chance the RPG will be closed.

Ludor Mace:
Ludor stands on the Gem City docks facing Spooky Island, she can’t see it, but she knows it’s there. She's carrying a light blue case. With her other hand she pulls a pokeball out of her trench coat pocket and aims it out over the water, “Go Laprus!”
“Lap, Lap…” it murmurs. She climbs up the left side of Laprus to avoid the crack in her shell. Once seated behing Laprus’ neck, with the blue case in a safe place, she tells her, “There’s an island out there, I know you can’t see it. Just head in that direction, and take your time.” The sun is warm, as they head for the island cool mist splashes up.

Dexon mind:

Dexon is walking over to the dock where the ferries are,but first he has to escape the crowd of spectators to get to the dock.Then he looks out and sees what seems to be a never ending ocean.He thinks to himself "I cant even see the stupid island." Then he pulls out his pokeball from his pockt and says,"Go slowking!' slowking happily says "king,king!" Lets go slowking,dexon says.I'll hold on to you're tail while you surf towards Spooky Island.I know you cant see it buddy, but just keep going north,we'll see it eventually.As they depart slowking sinks into the water.Dexon thinks to himself:"hopefully I can hold my breath long."

Ludor Mace:
As Laprus charges slowly forward Ludor hears an odd noise. She looks back, some kid and his slowking appear to be drowning. She edges off to Laprus’ backend. She extends one hand out toward the trainer, “You look like you’re in trouble, grab my hand, I’ll lift you up! You probably shouldn’t be headed for Spooky Island if your pokemon can’t even get you there safely.”

Kim was surfing towards the island on a borowed Lapras/Sharpedo splice. It would have to be sent back soon after she hit the island. Kim had gotten bored of being a gene splicer on an island hidden away and sunk it. She now was a simple breeder. The island was nowhere in sight but she knew which way it was.

Dexon Mind:

Thanks.By thewhats your name?My slowking can get me there safely,I just forgot my snorkel.Hey you're lapras' shell has a crack.Oh I forgot about you,"Slowking return!"So what are you ganna do with the 5 millon dollars if you win?I'm going to open my own resturant called, "Dexon's culinary magic."Oh yeah thanks for the ride your very kind.I was wondering when we get to the island do you want to search the island together?

Ludor Mace:
For a second she just stares at the talkative kid she pulled out of the water. Then she replies, "Mace, and I'm not looking for the scientists, I mean I'll rescue them if I find them, but I'm going for the pokemon, I collect creepy pokemon. You can still travel with me however, if you like." She makes sure the case is secure. "Laprus had the crack sense before I got her, it just doesn't seem to want to heal." Laprus charges happily on, a small speck starts to appear in the distance, Spooky Island.

Up ahead Kim could just make out the outline of the island. Her three gene spliced pokemon came out of their pokeballs. Luckly they were all pretty small. Also up ahead she could see two other people going towards the island. Her borowed water splice sped up to cathc up to the two.

Thanks for letting me be you're partner mace!So which pokemon were you intrested in getting?I'm only intrested in getting blackcard becouse its part psychic.I also think we should think of some secret code just in case a blackcard takes either mine or your form.Then the lapras lands and Dexon and mace get off and stepp onto the bach of spooky island.Dexon looks back and sees another trainer in the distantce

Ludor Mace:
Mace pats Laprus' neck, "Good girl." She turns to Dexon, "Yes I am very intrested in obtaining Blackcard, they say it's related to Mew. As for a code... I don't know." She turns back to Laprus, it almost seems to be singing, it wants her to say again that it did a good job "Lap, Lap... Lap, Lap." Mace Lifts her pokeball, "good girl, return!" As Laprus disappears she also spots the other trainer headed out towards the island, "What the heck kinda pokemon is that?"

May Maple:

May gazed out past the docks, looking for Spooky Island. If she couldn't see it, she was well aware, that her Squirtle would have a slim chance of getting her there. Sighing, she let Squirtle. "Squirtle, we have to get to Spooky Island. Do you think you could make the swim?" Squirtle looked over the horizon, confused as he couldn't even see the island. "Squirt? Squirtle squirt?" it asked. "I bet if we swam a little, we could see it," May told him. "Squirt!" Squirtle nodded it's head and jumpeed into the water, May right after him. May grabbed Squirtle's legs so that she could help him swim. They set off for Spooky Island, while May wondered if they would even get there...

Hey Mace I'm not sure if its even a pokemon.It sorta scares me.Do you think we should follow the trainer?

Kim hit land not long after she last saw the two. The island gave her the creeps and her pokemon clung to her legs. They could feel something diffrent on the island only.

(I got beaten, so this post takes place just before the last one)

Ludor Mace:
"No that seems counter productive, afterall, we are on the island, they are not..." Mace looks down at the beach, black sand, it is volcanic sand. She scans the area, not much for plant life. The beach streches out in both directions,a small cave is visable nearby, rock ground rises up from there toward the peaks. In the distance one of the island peaks glows with fire, and smoke surrounds it. "That doesn't quite look like lava," she tells dexon pointing at the peak, "That's where I'd head if I were looking for fire pokemon. But seeing as we aren't... well... Let's make a marker so that we know that surfing from this point will take us back to Gem City"

May Maple:

May tried to look to see if the island was on the horizon, but water from Squirtle's swimming was splashing into her eyes. "Squirtle, can you see the island?" She got no reply, since Squirtle had stuck his head under the water. May decided that if Squirtle bumped his head into a rock, she knew they would be at the island.

Dexon MInd

Good idea Mace,but I think we should go to the peak becouse as you pointed out it would be a good place for fire pokemon I think a scientinst would be intrested to got there.Also what should the marker be?

Ludor Mace:

"I'm not looking for the scientists, I'm looking for pokemon to add to my collection, Besides the whole island is why they came here." Mace looks around again, She smiles slightly seeing Kim's pokemon clinging to her legs. She pulls the red ribbon from her hat and ties it to a rock. "Marker...I'm going to check out the cave, you two can do whatever you want. If I see a scientist or any cules I'll tell you..."

And you of course all know the rules about post length, and that unless it improves in the next few posts and stays above this piss poor effort I see now, the RPG will be closed. You alll know that right? because it is in the rules, which you all read before doig anything in this RPG Forum. Am I right?

Sure you do that I was only pointing that becouse that gives us boha reason to go there and to look for pokemon.You dont have to be all rude Mace.well anyway I'm gonna go check out the cav over there on the west side for blackcard and possibly a scientist.Hey do you have a pokenav or ceelphone so I can put in you're number so we have a way to stay in touch?

Ludor Mace:
“No. I do not like people calling me. I’ll come find you if I have anything to tell you,” Mace picks up her blue case and heads for the cave. The cave is dark but warm inside, there does not seem to be any moisture. Mace walks slowly along. Mace glances up; Zubats hang from the ceiling sleeping. If I wake them, I’ll be sorry she thinks.
She walks for quite some length, the cave slowly becomes humid. Then she hears a sound, a sort of dull plinking. She cannot tell if it is coming from behind her or in front of her. The Zubats above her obviously hear it too, because they are stirring. She runs along the cave, the air is getting more humid now, but the plinking continues. She hits a slick spot on the floor, skids and slides into a hole. As she slid she accidentally lets go of her case, it is now several feet above her. Down in the hole it is pitch dark, she is unsure of how to get out, “s***, I could use a cell phone about now.”

He thinks to himself "What a rude little girl," then suddenly he feels strange, he is sensing a bad vibe through his telekinesis,he starts running back towards the cave,and runs in and tons of zubat come out screetching and he yells out "Mace where are you!?!??!!Are you okay!!?!??!"
