Farewell Platinum. It's ashame you didn't make it to the next rounds but you are one of the most interesting and toughest Pokemon battlers out there and easily an outstanding character alone and an even more outstanding character with your friends. Although alone, you may find yourself crying and gritting your teeth as you endure the cold, your bonds with Dia and Pearl and your own Pokemon will never die. Together you cover each others weaknesses and help raise each others strengths, not only helping each other grow in new unexpected ways but also helping other people you meet grow in new unexpected ways. Don't know about you but Platinum's friendship with Pearl and Dia is really the only friendship in the Pokemon series that reminds me of Luffy's friendship with the rest of the Strawhat Pirates in One Piece. Really is a shame that such a character that's changed so much from beginning to end didn't make it to the next round. I suppose next time though.

As for you N of Pokemon Adventures, you are a masterfully created character in storytelling. Almost no character on that list can rival to your character, an antagonist mistaking your ideals for truth, genuinely believes he's doing the right thing and shocking the world by defeating the Pokemon Champion only to fall to the ground in despair, hugging your Zorua tightly after betrayal realizing you may have actually hurt the Pokemon, not helping them in your darkest moment until a part of you is surprised that you were told by Black & White, the main characters, that you actually did help Black & White listen to their Pokemon's voices and by extension you helped them grow and change over the course of their adventure. You are truly quite a rare antagonist I see, one that not only changes himself but changes others for the good, not the bad. Farewell N, your story was quite amazing.

Pretty sure San is derivative from Sama. Sama is commonly translated into Lord and is also used when referencing deities (e.g. Kami-Sama). I can’t think of a honorific that shows more reverence hence why it’s clearly the most fitting for Pinchy.

  • No essays; you can express your views on anything relevant to the current match, but please keep them concise.
  • Please don’t discuss anything completely irrelevant to the current match.
  • Please only ping other users in posts contributing to the tally while a match is going on.
  • @keepitsimple, @xEryChan and @Akkipeddi will be the official tallyists and will update the tally roughly every 1 - 3 pages.
