I agree that the two bands are great. I like Audioslave especially.

Although, they aren't similar in sound to LP, they connect in alternative ways.

As for albums, not only has Mike Shinoda gone solo, but so has Chester Bennington. According to Paul of the Linkin Park Association, Ryan Shuck of Orgy (Eh...o_o) has revealed that they have completed work on Chester's solo album. However, no release date has been disclosed yet.

According to LP's Wikipedia article,

Linkin Park have been writing and recording demos for its new album for the past couple of months. Shinoda's recently been quoted saying that he's got "[…] a demo of some new Linkin Park songs. I'm not making that up, either. I have to pull my CD changer magazine out when I get out of my car, in case it gets stolen—I couldn't let the LP stuff leak." [2] The band expects to release their new album some time next summer, though Shinoda states that new music could come sooner.

Linkin Park is my Favorite Band i have all the CDs and if you like how mike Raps you should buy the CD Fort Minor its cool too;) well i like how Chester screams i dont know how he can do it its incredible my Favorite song is From the Inside from Meteora :D

i love linkin park to death but there new stuff i could definitely live without. but i love hybrid theory and meteora and of them all i love Chester Bennington...but hes married..*sniff*

Um... this thread ain't closed so i'll post something. Fort Minor (Shinoda's rap group) has officially been stated 'crap' by MTV Australia. Kinda shows how 'well' they're doing. Poor Shinoda... hurry up and join LP again!
