Do you want to show off your revamping skills or just want to enter just to see how well you can revamp or just for another reason? Well this is place where you can do that. Welcome the spriter revamp festival the contest will have there will be three sub categories; Color generation revamps (Red / Blue / Green). Yellow will have its own category due to its difference from the other color generation sprites. The final category revamps will be the Metal generation sprites (Gold / Silver). The deadline to submit sprites is March 15, 2006. Once the contest hits is deadline three judges including me will judge all the sprites. The top three for each category will be posted. Every revamp has a fair chance and the judges and I will comment on each one of them. If a member has any questions they can pm me or one of the judges.
If you want to enter this contest than you may but you must follow a few guidelines before you do.
Rules
- You may enter the contest but make sure that your revamp is a revamp, not a recolor of a sprite.
- You may enter in any category but for every category you enter you must enter only one sprite.
- Your entries must not be in jpg, bmp, gif format. By gif format I mean an image saved in paint with that format. It messes up the quality of the sprite. Transparent gifs are fine though. The same goes with jpg, it messes up the quality. bmp is simple; it’s against the rules to post an image with a bmp format because it takes more time to load.
- When you post your entry make sure to include what category you are entering.
- You are able to change / edit your entry or entries throughout the contest.
- Have fun and try your best!
The results will be posted one to two weeks after the deadline. Again, if you have any questions PM me. If you are a judge you may not enter the contest but you can approve or disapprove entries.
