The custom was meant to make the smeargle look braindead...
And it's some of my older work so... that ads to the illusion of crud and stuff.

The pattern on it is awesome!!

The ursaring wasn't very tough too tough... I used paint shop pro and painted a gas of grey around him then a gas of black.
So no it wasn't technically very hard.
