The Wrath of Skull

This rolplay takes place long after Spyro’s time, in which his heroic tales are legendary. Many Dragons told their eager children his feats as bedtime stories. All was peaceful in the Dragon lands; a beautiful place filled with magic, and home of the dragons. Many idolized the long dead dragon, for he had done many things far beyond the talents of an average dragon. His most famous tale was how he defeated the evil Sorceress and recovered the dragon eggs she stole and hid. But what will happen when a new evil manifests itself in the Dragon Lands; an evil even more powerful than the Sorceress…

It all started when a black dragon was born, a black dragon named Skull. He was cunning, strong, and had a twisted mind. He believed himself superior to the other hatchlings among his generation; he soon became their self-proclaimed leader, making them cause mischief among the Dragon Lands. The elders soon grew tired of it. They first tried to discipline him, but to no avail; he continued his misgivings, and the Elders could do nothing. So they let him continue. But the last straw was broken when he convinced one of the hatchlings to fly off a cliff, though Skull knew the little dragon couldn’t accomplish it, sending the hatchling to its death. The elders grew angry, and banished Skull from the Dragon Lands forever. But a handful of the hatchlings, in secret, followed their leader. They became the Four Plagues, naming themselves War, Famine, Death, and Disease. Together they and Skull plotted revenge against the other dragons. Several years later, they raided the home of the Dragons, Killing most of the clan, and smashing all but a few eggs. Soon there was only one elder left, five adults, and seven eggs. The clan knew that the eggs were the hope for survival.

In a desperate moment, the last elder, Emerald, used what remained of her strength and magic to bless the eggs with powers. Each of the eggs was branded with a seven-sided star, and the symbol was visible on each of the hatchling’s brows. Each of them possessed a unique power, and the five adult dragons raised the seven children to stop Skull from destroying what remained of the dragons. The Hatchlings have now grown old enough to destroy Skull and the Four Plagues, who have been bewitched with unnaturally (even for dragons) long lives.

The seven sided star shines silver-purple upon her brow.

Personality: A born leader, she is always ready to take charge, especially when things go wrong. She has a strong sense of justice, and is determined to take down Skull. Few things scare her, and she is well tempered. Her commanding air often leads to others asking for her advice in a bad situation. She is highly thought of by the five adult dragons, which have now become the elders of the broken clan.

Personality: She is constantly flying about, never resting, and seemingly never tired. She always speaks her mind, although sometimes it is a rude comment. Dragon-

Name: Shade

Gender: Male

Appearance: A pretty thin dragon, his scales are a deathly black, and are tinged with a brilliant silver around the eyes and claws. His eyes are a shimmering gold colour, and stay emotionless-looking even if he's crying or something. Shade's claws are a ebony colour, as is the long spine that runs down his back to the end of his tail, which is unusually long and thin for a dragon. Probably the most interesting features, is a seven-side star shape on his forhead that shines silver, and a interesting fact about his horns. Instead of his horns pointing up like most dragons, they point down and are once again, a brilliant silver. His wings fold up perfectly and look invisible against Shade's scales, and are a pitch-black colour. After so much transforming, his scales and wing membrane have lost their leathery texture, and now have a rather silky feel.

Personality: If you look at this dragon, you get one impression: lone wolf. It's not that he's violent and non-sociable, he just prefers to be alone, and is actually kind if you get to know him. But he's a tad bit arrogant with his shapeshifting, and is almost always seen as something such as a hawk or ferret, and if another dragon tries to eat him, they're in for a surprise. TAAH DAAH! Your supper is now another dragon! The arrogance is in that he beleives he has mastered the speed and power of the thing he shifts in to, and this arrogance occasionally gets him in to trouble. The best perk about him is the fact that he is also a combonation of loyal and stubborn, and if an enemy gets hold of him, no information is coming out of this dragon's snout.

Name: Ka

Gender: female

Color: Sandy brown

Personality: She takes her time to think, and is one not to run around quickly, as she always thinks everything throughly and actually once took an hour to pick which apple slice she wanted. In so she is sometimes incredebly annoying, but her loyalty, her forgiveness, and her tendance to always be there whether you need her or not. She makes a good friend for Shade and whoever else needs it.

Name:Typhoon

Gender:Female

Appearance:Typhoon's scales are light blue, with a long, green set of scales running down her back, and cannot be seen easily at nightime. Her eyes are an unusal blood red colour, with black markings on them that don't change at all when she feels emotion.
Her claws are a duckling yellow that goes tickled pink when she is happy, and purple spines running down her back, the tail is simmilar to her eyes. Her wings are a pewter colour, they look very torn from small fights, the onyx talons on the corners of her wings are a bit chipped. The seven sided star on her brow is a dull brown that shines slightly in the sunlight.

Personality: A humble comrade, always willing to go down fighting if she has to, and will ofter try to protect young creatures. She has a hatred for Skull and his minions and will immedietly charge at one of his henchmen if seen. Typhoon wants a bit of glory at times, and will often try to become partners with the leader to get a bit of the fun. A bit catty at times and will often try to prove herself worthy. When something goes wrong she will try and help with the situation, only to fail miserably at the fact that someone else takes control. Sometimes, Typhoon's jelously will get to her head, and when someone talks to her she will lash out saying. "Go away!"

Gender:Male

Color:Dark Orchid

Personality: Calm and reassuring, Bronze is always at Typhoon's side, he likes to stay with her when something bad happens, and will comfort her when she is sad or angry. He never like to talk to anyone but Typhoon and will not trust anyone but her. Bronze has a small sense of humor, and likes to joke about sometimes, but sometimes it gets too far and he's often given a small lecture by Typhoon afterwards.

Dragon

Name: Storm (guess my powers)

Gender: male

Appearance: Unlike the normal massive muscular dragons, Storm's more of a serpent dragon. He has scales of cloud darg grey, a shining chest from his neck up to his tail. He has two sharp horns pointing out of the back of his skull. He has small tiny shriveled up wings so he can't really fly. He has scrawny thin legs, three powerful silver grey sharp claws on each hand. His eyes shine a bloody red and an obsidian black. The seven star symbol is colored ruby red. He also has thin but powerfull sharp spines in his back.

Personality: A really intelligent dragon who finds interest in all that surrounds him. He's mostly a loner and doesn't like to commune with other dragons a lot. He can be a great ally or a vicous enemy. It all depends on how you deal with him. He's filled with rage and negative thoughts but shows it in a blank lifeless manner. He thinks that he shouldn't be included in groups or even with one companion. He's intelligent, ruthles, powerful and strangely sensitive. He doesn't show it often but at times he would go to his dragonfly guardian Cloud or any other dragon and talk about life itself.

Name: Cloud

Gender: male

color: it's body is colored an obsidian black and his wings are rosy red which helps him to camouflage a bit.

Personality: Cloud is a bit like a father figure to Storm. He's quite a confident dragonfly and would observe a lot of Storm's actions. He's overall a patient, kind father like dragonfly who helps anyone in need of support or cheering up.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Flora’s scales are deep, dull green but they turn very bright in the presence of light. Her underside is light brown. She has wavy, curled horns the color of tree bark. Her slightly short claws are blue-green; her eyes are dark brown. She has a string of dark pink colored spines that run down her neck all the way to her tail, at the very end of which is an appendage that looks like a rose bud. Flora can, actually, make this bloom; when she is happy it will bloom with velvety petals, but when mad the petals will turn into sharp points. Her wings are just large enough to get her into the air and have medium brown leathery surfaces with the bones of the wings being the same as her body. There are small blue-green talons on these. Flora’s muzzle is neither short nor long but leans somewhere closer to short. She is a rather small dragon whose carries a comforting, natural feeling about her person. The seven-sided star on her brow is medium brown.

Personality: Flora is a kind-hearted dragon, always willing to lend someone a crying shoulder or a helping hand, depending on which they need more. She makes other dragons feel much more comfortable when near, for she smells of spring blossoms. Flora definitely doesn’t care if she gets dirty, nor does she care if she is harmed for the sake of someone else. She is calm, even in the face of danger, and feels that everyone needs a friend. However, this can be a pain when who you’re trying to befriend becomes your mortal enemy… and Flora does not take betrayal well, and will often fall into a raging temper tantrum for days at a time. There are also other circumstances that she will throw a fit or tantrum, but they are few.

Gender: Female
Color: Rose! Uh, Pink.

Personality: Rose is completely mad. She’s also psychotic, paranoid, and off-the-wall. Not even Flora can always keep her from bouncing away and flying back when she finds out that there’s a little noise over there. She is jumpy even to the slightest motion or sound. At any moment Rose could jump up and start dancing or pretending she’s a chicken. She’s that crazy.

Appearance: A dark purple (Not like spyro)dragon with long wings and long tale, big for his age, red eyes.

Personality: one of the louder ones. Can take charge in an Emergancy, but you can't always rely on. Dosen't think of himself, although loud, he's very misterious, not alot known about his past. All we know is that he's an orphan, and was hit by one of the elders electric breath by accident.

Power: Illusion please.

My Dragonfly-

Name: Jingle

Gender: Male

Appearance: Has flame like markings on his side, which changes colour according to his mood.

Personality: The Complete different to Krile. He's usually happy, but when he gets angry you'd better run! He's a good fighter for a dragonfly. He usually can keep your company or make you laugh at some point.

Colour: Changes on depending on his mood.

Introducing the dragon I use in all my Spyro fics, with a personality and background tweak XD

-DRAGON-

NAME: Den (full name, Denki)

GENDER: Male

APPERENCE: Of a similar build to Spyro himself but perhaps just a little larger and more filled out. He walks on all fours and has a relatively long thin neck and a long spindly tail with an orange orb at the end. His whole body is covered in sky blue scales while the scales covering his paws are of a deep orange colour which glow brightly whenever he uses his special skills. He also has an orange underbelly but that, however, does not glow. Around his ankles are a set of heavy metal silver bands and he sports a plain white headband with two long flowing tails. He has two white horns in a thrown back style and three strands of hair sticking up from his headband. He also has short stubby white claws yet his overall build is very streamline and adept.

PERSONALITY: A, to say the least, happy dragon. He likes to play around and has a very sarcastic humour, often laughing at others’ misfortune. When faced with a dangerous situation, however, Den is very cautious and likes to jet in and out of a fight as soon as possible to avoid injury. He’s rather well practised about injuries and wounds, though, since he does actually gather a few quite unintentionally. He also like to think he’s rather cunning when he’s actually not; but he will have his moments now and then. He also likes to be part of a crowd and greatly dislike it if even his dragonfly partner leaves him (rare, but still.) Still, he’ll try to be friendly to anyone he meets, sometimes to a fault, but he has good intentions at heart.

POWER: Speed.

-DRAGONFLY-

NAME: Vell

GENDER: Female

COLOUR: White

PERSONALITY: Short, sharp and straight to the point. A very blunt dragonfly who likes to point out the obvious and often in the process, scold Den. She also like to cling (or rest) on Den’s back so she can keep up with his personality and enthusiasm. She can be easily corrected… but she won’t like it. And sometimes she’s sure some of Den’s personality is rubbing off on her.
