Squirtle vs. Squirtle (Spoiler Warning)

Well, we've seen May's Squirtle face off and defeat Harley's Ariados and, in the recent Red Inazuma episode, defeat a Scizor. Now lets say that one day, Ash's Squirtle decides to visit. He meets May's Squirtle, but May, being a little overconfident, thinks that her Squirtle can defeat Ash's and challenges Ash and Squirtle to a battle. Ash accepts.

Why? Your first thread has no replies, this one has two. It'd be better to keep the thread up which somebody has posted in already, and have the other one closed instead. Even if this is the newer one. ...Er, if you ask me.

Ash's Squirtle will win. Why?
The writers don't want to imagine what would happen if they had May's Squirtle win the battle. ...I guess it would be something involving hydrogen bombs and bazookas *shrug* I don't care that much about her Squirtle , but I assume that's what would happen ;)

Seriously, we have seen how agile and strong SquadSquirtle has gotten in the Johto League. I'm pretty sure it gets lots more training with the Squirtle Squad than May's. I can't think of a believable way to make May's Squirtle tougher than Ash's. Just think of what stunts it could pull off (shooting off an attack although the opponent got the command first, hitting Water Gun at the exact same spot over and over again, etc.). Sure, they were uber-izing it a bit at that point to show how much it has improved under Jenny's control, but strength is strength.

Ash's Squirtle would win, despite the fact that May's seems to be an uber.

Ash's Squirtle has a great deal more of experience under its belt, and has had a lot more impressive wins in my opinion. The training with the Squirtle Squad as shown in that Johto League episode has improved it's aim and it's speed, making it probably one of the most powerful Squirtle on the planet. Hydro Pump and Skull Bash are also nothing to scoff at.

May's Squirtle took down an Ariados and a Scizor, that's swell, but Ash's Squirtle has taken down a hell of a lot more.

Good thing we don't have to worry about Haruka's Zenigame beating Satoshi's. The Zenigame-dan are part of the Kanto plotline, and we can't have any of that.

I think May's squirtle would loose by far. But at the same time, the two squirtles become good friends. Probably.

Ash's Squirtle would use Water Gun as it's first attack. But suddenly, Haruka's Squirtle uses it's supercalifragilisticexpialice Beam attack! The beam freezes Ash's Squirtle's Water Gun in mid fire, with results in the poor turtle suffocating on the giant ice log that is lodged firmly down it's throat.

The point I'm trying to make here is, that it depends on what the writers decide to whip out of the ol' posterior. They could either have the respectable Mr. Coolsville thwap Ms. Frilly K. Nickers with a swift Hydro Pump, or have Ash/Squirtle fail miserably on account of a sudden outbreak of the highly contageous (and random) 'Overconfidous-Convientous'.
Idealy though, I'd go with the former scenario.

For the love of god I wish Ash's would beat that thing to a pulp with those cool shades on. But Gravy is right, the writers would probably have Mays Squirtle win with an uber victory like a freeze, similar to Talliow vs Torchic. As long as Squirtle never defeats Sceptile 0_0.

Even though he beat a Todozeruga that also knew Ice Beam, and which was Kaede's (a really good trainer) trump card, and long before he evolved into a Jukain, no less. Seriously, if there ever was a Jukain vs. Haruka's Zenigame match-up, Jukain had better friggin' slaughter the thing before it could even react.

As for Satoshi's Zenigame vs. Haruka's Zenigame, as Gravy said, there's no telling, it depends on what the writers decide. What I can hope, though... well, you should all know the answer to that. I hope the writers don't favor the little turd enough that they'd actually have it outshine the original. You know, the one with the more interesting personality and actually has a fanba... [looks at Harley] oh, f***....
