SS Anne cheat

So everybody knows about the R/B cheat that if you trade a pokemon with cut and not go on the SS Anne, then there is a truck that you can flip over and get something good, ie. Mew or master ball or w/e. I am never resetting my red version, because I have 151 pkmn on it, but I tried it in fire red. If you surf to the right of the ship, there is a strip of land with a truck, but you can't do anything to it. I think I have tried cut and strength, but does anyone know if and how the cheat really works, because once you can go to the islands, the SS Anne blocks the port. I want to go to the islands, but I don't want the ship to leave until I'm sure the cheat does or doesn't work.

Okay, in R/B/Y the trick is false, there is nothing there. In FR/LG I think all you get is a Lava Cookie or something, not entirely sure. There is no code or anything, the truck is useless in both gens.

wow! the cheat is false. why would somebody put a mew in the truck?
and theres another lie that says: the same thing except for mew theres a hole and you go into it and it leads you to johto. thats so false you undesrtand right Mewtwo?;155; ;155; ;001;

There's nothing except a Lava Cookie in the southern side, but why people would do that while they can go and buy a bunch of them in Island 2.

There are level 7 or 8 Tentaools in the Water while surfing, don't forget it. I didn't try fishing.
