Stage One poke team...

Yay, I have agreed to one of my few friends who play pokemons rules. We are gonna battle using only stage one pokemon.

Rules:
The stage one pokemon must have a stage two form. Meaning I cant use stuff like Houndoom and Milotic. (crud)

Basic ruling (sleep clause etc.)

Shelgon @ (item here)
Nature: Lonley

-Double Edge
-Brick Break-
-Dragon Dance
-Dragon Claw

Grovyle @ Salac
Nature: Timid

-Leech Seed-
-Thunder Punch-
-Toxic-
-Leaf Blade- Basically A mini sceptile without dragon claws.

Machoke
Nature: Adamant
-Fcous Punch-
-Earthquake-
-Rock Slide-
-Substitute- I obviously know im going to need substitute if I FP, No CB if I FP.

Vigoroth
Nature: Adamant

-Slash-
-Counter-
-Aerial Ace-
-Earthquake- (shame vigoroth cant learn swords dance)

Kadabra
Nature: Timid

-Psychic-
-Calm Mind-
-Fire Punch-
-Taunt-

Metang
Nature: Adamant

-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake-
-Rockslide-
-Explosion-

Give me items nature suggestions all that good stuff. I mainly need items.

Where is Haunter? You should probably get rid of Machoke and/or Vigoroth for Haunter and/or Pupitar with Dragon Dance.

Why would I use return, this in-game

the happiness factor is an issue...

Haunter over Machoke??? Sure.. I dont have a pupitar.

whats the point of focus punch on vigoroth, besides power...Because my prediction skills suck.

I already decided to put Haunter over Machoke anyways.

Pikachu isnt a stage one =O

Pichu and all its baby counter parts arent basic pokemon. They are babies.

So that means, Magmar, Electabuzz, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, and PIKACHU. Arent stage ones. There is a different between babies and basics.

Babies are a group of their own, they cant even breed. A basic pokemon is the lowest form that can breed. Wich makes Pikachu a basic pokemon.

That is why pokemon like, Electabuzz, Magmar and jigglypuff arent considered. Stage ones. Because they are the lowest form possible of breeding.

Example

Pichu cant breed, but evolves into Pikachu who can breed, Basic pokemon. Basic pokemon evolves. Evolved pokemon is raichu stage one.

But Squirtle can breed, Basic pokemon. Wartortle is evolved from squirtle, stage one. Blastoise evolves from wartortle. Stage 2.

Get it???

Besides pikachu would be crushed by the average stage one pokemon

I trained one from the beginning in FR till the E4 he was 56 and i crushed the E4 with pikachu!! ( tough i not only used pikachu )

Yeah Pikachu hits hard ingame (especially with light ball)..But in competitive battling or more serious ingame battles. Keep it out of the light.

Raichu is useless because if pikachu holds a liughtball he is way stronger than raichu and raichu's SpA issnt boost by Lightball so he is useless

Dragonair=no

I already have shelgon...I dont have a larivatar or any of its family members.

Seadra, and Haunter are my options over machoke.

I can freakin breed my Kingdra. Machoke isnt as good as I thought it would be, I thought of it as a Mini-Machamp but its too slow to hit anything.

Giga Drain/Shadow Ball/ Hypnosis
Thunderbolt
Destiny Bond/Explosion

Marshtomp

Curse
Ice Beam
EQ
Surf/Rest (if rest Ill give it the chesto)

How does Kingdra get body slam if it isnt a level up move or a TM. Did drake like time travel or something
