Standard OU team from a newbie.... :(

The Leader
Cloyster @ Life Orb/White Herb
ability: Skill Link
nature: Jolly / Naive
name: Shell Smash
move 1: Shell Smash
move 2: Icicle Spear
move 3: Rock Blast
move 4: Razor Shell / Hydro Pump / Spikes / Toxic Spikes
evs: 48 HP / 252 Atk / 208 Spe

My lead pokemon, Can set up w/ SPikes/toxic if i want it to, or get insane attack from Shell smash (And powerful STAB moves in icicle spear, due to its ability) He is powerful defensively as well, and can take a few hits. He should prove very useful against a lot of pokemon in the meta.

Damage Dealers yo
Togekiss @ Razer Fang / Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 HP (Or Sp Attack)/252 Speed
Name: Bulky Flincher
Move 1: Air Slash
Move 2: Extrasensory / Flame thrower
Move 3: Nasty Plot / Flame Thrower
Move 4: Wish (Is it better than Roost?)

This is my "all around" special attacker. It has great coverage w/ flying+psychic, and the ability to put in fire moves etc. Also has lots of flinching, which is brokenly awesome. Comes in after things are burnt/paralyzed/poisoned etc. Also has the beef to stay out there and heal (or cast wish, i havent decided yet, wish would help my team? But is it as good as roost?) Its decent stat spread makes it so it has a lot of viable roles, and a lot of diff EV options.

Gliscor @ Poison Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Nature: Impish
Evs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Speed
Name: Physicial/Hybrid
Move 1: Swords Dance
Move 2: Earthquake
Move 3: Ice Fang / Thunder Fang / Fire Fang
Move 4: Protect

My physical sweeper/hybrid. Provides a lot of resistances against the big Fighting pokemon. Also has the ability to take down steel with eartquake, and ice for dragons and grass and whatnot. I might use fire fang, idk yet. Has sword dance for the increase attack up. Substitute and protect is to stall, so that its Poison heal has more time to get off.

The Walls
Dusclops @ Eviolite
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 Def/252 Sp D
Name: Pain Split
Move 1: Pain Split
Move 2: Will-o-Wisp
Move 3: Taunt
Move 4: Night Shade

Willo wisp lowers attack which makes him a better wall. Disable can make them not able to use a move that they hit you with like maybe a super effective. Night shade deals more consistent damage than hex and shadow ball. Used to spin block, and fight normal/fighting etc. Also can use pain split on new pkmn if it has the time. Disable is to let other pokemon get in better (or calm mind, idk yet). Also amazing Sp Defense.
(Ive also thought about Will-o-wisp, Pain split, rest and sleepy talk?)

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
Nature: Calm/Bold
EVS: Def/ 252 Sp Atk (or Speed)
Name: Anti-Steel/Physical Wall
Move 1: Thunderbolt
Move 2: Flash Cannon
Move 3: Hidden Power Fire
Move 4: Protect
This dude is my anti-steel pokemon, and a great setup to help others. Also has Good defense, HP, and Special defenses *due to calm*. Used speed EVs to make sure its not totally slower than everything :/ I might toss in hidden power fire to crush the steel types i trap. But this guy can be switched in during outrage/any repeating attacks. Leftovers for lasting longer, light clay for being more supportive. This guy is my go-to physical blocker. Also has protect/Substitute to prolong toxic from the spikes.

Need One More...?
I wont write descriptions for these, but these are ideas i have for the last pkmn...
Nidoking @ Life Orb
name: Special Attacker
move 1: Earth Power
move 2: Thunderbolt
move 3: Ice Beam
move 4: Flamethrower / Fire Blast
item: Life Orb
ability: Sheer Force
nature: Timid / Modest
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Scrafty @ Life Orb
ability: Moxie / Shed Skin
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly
name: Dragon Dance
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Hi Jump Kick / Drain Punch
move 3: Crunch
move 4: Ice Punch / Taunt

Heatran @ Air Balloon
item: Air Balloon / Life Orb
nature: Modest / Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
move 1: Fire Blast
move 2: Earth Power
move 3: Hidden Power Ice / Hidden Power Grass
move 4: Stealth Rock

Drapion @ Leftovers
Ability: Sniper
Nature ???
Evs: 252 HP / 252 SpD?
Move: Toxic Spikes / A Fang move
Move 2: Night slash
Move 3: Cross Poison / A fang attack / Earthquake
Move 4: Protect / Taunt / / 1 from above.

Is Magnezone a good fit? And is Dusclops? I need to pick a last pokemon too, i was leaning toward Nidoking, though.

Gliscor seems good, but sometimes drops like a rock online.

But, my BIGGEST issue is knowing HOW to round out the team. Or if theres a better fit in the spot. Or if i need more speed, etc etc. :(

Please give ANY advice. I dont want to change all my pkmn tho >.<

THIS WORKS WELL. WHY IT'S A LEAD IS STILL CONFUSING ME... BUT YEAH. THIS WORKS. A LITTLE OVERUSED, BUT A SOLID POKE.

DIDN'T DO TOO GREAT ON THIS. AIR SLASH/FLAMETHROWER/NASTY PLOT
IS MOAR SOLID, WHETHER YOU USE ROOST OR WISH IS UP TO YOU. ROOST HEALS YOU RIGHT AWAY, BUT WISH LETS YOU HEAL IN ALLY IF YOU SWITCH IN A WEAKENED ALLY.

THIS WORKS FINE. I PERSONALLY DON'T LIKE GLISCOR, BUT THIS WORKS OK.

THIS IS SOLID. PAIN SPLIT IS A LITTLE... UNRELIABLE. BUT THIS IS SOLID TOO.

NIDOKING IS ALRIGHT. I USE HIM ON MY UU TEAM. HE WORKS WELL

This team is okay... It's well balanced, and a good start for competitive battling. You did well for a nub team XDD. Just play around with this and see what style of poke suits you best, then maybe make a team around it (Maybe try a weather next time. They're fun.) BUT ALWAYS TRY TO USE SOME POKES PEOPLE DON'T EXPECT. That's how you distinguish yourself from other players.
