This game brings me back. It's fast paced, enjoyable, it may be short, but at some points it's really challenging. I love this game, played it yesterday and found an alternate route to an entirely different ending. Do you guys like this game?

I think I would have liked it a lot better had I played it before Starfox Assault was made. I only got SF64 last month, and I'm not really impressed. I liked Assault much better because it had way better graphics and gameplay. But I'm sure SF64 was great in its time. If I had played it back when it came out,it would be better, IMO.

Yes, when it came out it was great. IMO, I liked 64 better than assault.

Same. I was a little disapointed about how short Assult was compaired to other Star Fox games. Sure Lylat Wars (UK name) was short but it had loads of different ways to complete the game whereas Assult only had one.

Star Fox 64/Lylat Wars is one of the best games I have ever played. It has such a good story line that it would even make an awesome film. I have also started playing a lot of my N64 games again because I have lost the plug for my Gamecube. If the game had as many levels as Super Mario 64 I would probably prefer it to pokemon. SF64 was also the first game to have a complex all-range mode and planet Katina (I think (the one you get to from the warp in meteo or by doing 99- hits in Sector Y)) was stunning when it was made (although I find it boring today...) and it revolutionized gameplay completely, for reasons I cant explain now.

I didn't like it. I LOVED IT! It was the first space flight game I owned, and it is still on my top 10 fav. games of all time. To bad I don't have my N64 anymore, but that will all change when the Revolution comes out, because when I get it, I'm gunna download SF64 on it.
