Starly???

I saw a video with a starly and a focus band/endeavor/quick attack combo.
(first get attacked, hang on with focus band, use endeavor, then quick attack).
Are things like this advisable? or is there a good team building outline I should use... also, what would be the best pokemon to use on a giratina???

It's a Focus Sash they use, and it only works against one Pokemon, providing it isn't a Ghost.
