Starmie and Staryu

I have been wondering this for a long time,how are pokemon like Starmie/Staryu meant to eat?Since they don't have mouths or anything,same with Magnemite and Magneton how are they meant to eat?

Magneton probably absorbs electricity, and something like that for starmie...

Well they do eat because in one of the pokemon chronicles episode I saw Misty feed her Horsea and hes Starmie but I couldn't see how Starmie ate.

Real starfish put their stomachs outside their bodies and use digestive enzymes to dissolve the prey, so I would assume Staryu and Starmie are the same concept

I believe that magnemite/ton "feed" on electricity. They get their energy from electricity.

The mouths of sea stars are located on their back side, therefore it is only logical to conclude that a Pokemon based on a sea star would exhibit the same concept. \m/

As for Magnemite/Magneton, they probably generate a strong-enough current that allows them to absorb electricity using their magnets. As for how they eat Pokeblocks, I would envision that they use some conversion mechanism on their magnets that would allow them to "digest" the Pokeblock and perceive it as having some sort of taste.
