Starmie moveset?

I'm pondering adding a Starmie to my Battle Frontier team, but I'm not all that sure in what to give it.

The sweeping-lover in me wants to go with an Ice Beam/Surf/Psychic/Thunderbolt supersweeper, but something tells me there's a better set out there than this.

Remember Starmie is a Water/Psychic Dual Type.

Mmm, Natural Cure. I never really thought about it before, but now that I do, it seems quite useful (and much better for the BF than Illuminate, that's for sure!)

My problem is this, though: I want to win the Gold Symbol in the Battle Tower. That's my goal. To do it, I'd need to get through Anabel's Raikou in the 70th match---meaning I'd need to drop Starmie at the final push for Swampert....but that's off topic.

While we're on the natures, which one--Modest or Timid---is better for the Battle Palace?

Modest is if you want a more offensive Starmie.
Timid is if you want a fast Starmie.

Its your choice but I'd go with Timid.
And if you're afraid of Raikou then try Dugtrio.

Psychic isn't that great on Starmie because Surf has more PP and suffices as an STAB move, plus you get BoltBeam coverage. So, you don't need Psychic.

Psychic only takes down Posion and Fighters. The fighters usually have the Sp Def to suvive one though!

Stick with Freeze Knight's suggestion (Only with 252 Sp attack not Attack! lol).
