HOLY BLOOMING CRUD they look amazing. Too bad they're probably fake.

But if they aren't....

1) Milotic step the fluck down, you are no longer the beautiful mermaid queen of pokémon anymore. THIS would def be my pick. I would worship this beautiful princess till the end of my days.

2) Wow, even Litten managed to become less terrible. Probably wouldn't go for him but I don't dislike him. In all honesty, I think he may make the most convincing argument in avor of their legitimacy. Nobody expected GF to place any emphasis on a belt, when he's a cat that can spit flaming furballs...

3) I'm a little conflicted about this one. The concept is amazing but the aesthetic itself looks kinda wonky (especially the wings, they look like they're make from cardboard). Still a pretty cool mon I would definitely use.

Same. I think they look really cool and wouldn't mind these being the final evos. Though, if Litten's final evo is part Fighting, I'mma cry.

But to play giratina's advocate, braixen is inarguably feminine (albeit it is a middle stage) and samurott is fairly masculine.

2 for 2 -- I agree once again. We can't argue on the basis of ambiguity. While many claim that Delphox is supposed to be a wizard, it's hard to argue from that standpoint considering that Braixen is definitely feminine in nature (with "vixen" being a part of its name).

Furthermore, what difference does it make if the writing is messy or not? Perhaps the artist was in a rush? We definitely shouldn't be passing this leak off as illegitimate until we get confirmation.

I haven't seen any actual pokemon concept art recently (well besides steven example shown) so do they usually get this...... Silly? (i guess that is is the word i would use) As well as involving ash and pikachu, is that normal?

If they ae legit, I'd probably end up swapping to Rowlet because a Robin Hood-esque archer owl thing is just an awesome idea. That being said, I do think that all of those designs look pretty decent, even Litten's final evo despite it being anoter fire/fighting. Popplio's final evo seems like a pretty majestic design as well.

I'd be disappointed if the real final evos had been leaked so early, but it's probably safe to say that these are fakes.

I've got my doubts this early on - but I've got to say that the concept behind the Rowlet design is incredibly clever. If these were what we got, I could live with that, though Litten's would be better as fire/dark.

And why would Rowlet, whose only real defining characteristic is its bow tie, become the Green Arrow Robin Hood? Both of those seem to completely diverge from the designs present in the basic forms. The Litten one is slightly more believable, but not nearly enough to convince me.

Or did you expect Torchic to become wingless and part fighting type?

What about Oshawott into a Samurai Sea Lion?

Also I'd say the 'throwing knife feathers' could tie in with arrow feathers.

EDIT: Though I'm not saying these could be legit, highly likely they're fakes.

I don't know...I have seen a lot of fakes over the days, especially on DeviantArt, and these...I don't know. I mean they look good, but I doubt their legitmacy. That said, however, I wouldn't understimate GF if they were to go with these designs, because while they look fake, they have that Pokémon feel to them, whereas other fake arts were too predictable. Remember the whole debacle with the Final Evos of Unova Starters, yeah.

So, yeah, I don't know about this batch, especially seeing as Litten's supposed evo is pretty disturbing with how it generates fire. I mean, look at it....I know its coming from its fire belt...but damn....it appears like its generating/pissing fire from its crotch. Who the heck thought that was a good idea? I'd admit though....that Robin Hood theme of Rowlel really looks amazing, using its wing as a bow and one of its feathers like a arrow.

I do say that I find Popplio's fake evo pretty endearing. Gives me Milotic vibes, and looks like something GF would pull off, and I think its the most beautiful of them all.

Umm....Guys, I think this might be worth discussing. Okay before you look at this, who remembers how Emboar and Samurott were leaked? It was from anime concept art, what I'm about to show is possibly the same. Though they're not that bad I mostly fear for GF if these are real.

1. If you didn't like Delphox cause it's feminine then You're not gonna like this. Popplio's completely comes out of left field. Which is why I don't completely buy these, but GF have surprised us before and they do have that legit look to them. If this is real Popps is taking the selkie route, which would make Water/Fairy, which is what some people are theorizing.

2. Oh I can hear plane tickets being bought, pitch forks sharpened, and guns loaded. I personally think it's okay and will stick to Litten being my starter, but do GF really dare make another Fire/Fighting starter even though people were pleading not to. Though some of this does match that GF creativity and with my theory that Litten would grow angrier as it evolves, and what better way to express your anger than....fight.....uh oh.

I want this to be real, just because of Litten's evolution, and the image of him pelvic thrusting fire at everyone's salt xD

But the fact that it's spitting seems to suggest poison, but the wrestling moves suggest... You know.

Absolutely hate the Popplio final evolution.. While I don't mind the Litten one, the obvious Fire/Fighting makes it detestable and Owlet's looks pretty sweet.

Most likely fake, but pretty good quality fakes nonetheless

Yeah, it's well done but it's most likely fake due to the fact that we got tons of 'concept art' for X/Y's final evos that turned out false.

I actually really like that potential Popplio evolution even though it has nothing to do with anything 'Popplio' besides the overall body shape. And while I think it is way too 'gendered' for a starter... actually wait I take that back. All the other starters are leaned towards male (besides like Delphox) so screw it make it more girly! Add more bows and ribbons! Give it hot pink accents and visible make up markings on its face. Heck even flip the gender ratio on it.

They're all ugly save for Robin Hoot Hood. Litten 3 is literally just a human with oversized paws, a tail and a cat's head - even Blaziken wasn't as anthropomorphic as that monstrosity.

That aside, would they fit in the gaps in each starter's Pokédex screen?

I can roughly see Rowlet's fitting with the Pokeball taking up where the head would be, that would make him a pretty short final form however.

And maybe Popplio's if the art has it on its front, and not standing up.

It reads in Japanese Owl 3, Tiger 3 and Sea Lion 3. What interests me most is that Satoshi and some girl are boiling tea using the tiger's belt.

It's the first time I have ever got a 'legitimate' feel coming from something that has not been confirmed otherwise.... weird.

It's funny how fakes go around alot as it allows us to see different designs from different people but when it comes down to the official artwork of said Pokemon , they sometimes fall behind in creativity thus leaving some fakes looking better than the official.

For example , A Robin Hood themed final evolution for Owlet, how awesome is that. Honestly , I cannot see Owlets final evo being based on anything else. Even if these do end up being fake , I believe Owlet's final evolution will be getting a Robin Hood element.

Litten, Litten, Litten... what can I say! I personally like the final evolution, it sure looks arrogant and confident. If only it isn't a part fighting type.

Now, Popplio's final evolution gets me thinking. Would GF really make a final evolution of a starter Pokemon that ummm, feminine? I can already see people quoting this and using Delphox as an argument, BUT let us remember that Delphox can be thought of as either a wizard (male) or a witch (female) so it is quite adaptable to both genders for a starter evolution.

I personally like Popplio's, but I think a transition from a clown based sea lion evolving into a majestic mermaid is a bit fishy.

Time will tell I guess.

I'm still thinking Fire/Dark, seeing as the type of wrestling it's doing is the more "showman" sort, which is widely considered to be fake and filled with dirty tactics. Making it a dishonourable fighting style, hence Fire/Dark.

AKA I'm straw grasping, please don't make it a Fire/Fighting again.
