it shouldn't really matter all that much... though I'd like to keep all teammates in the same kind of balls (mostly regular pokeballs) although there are some that just go perfectly with certain pokeballs, like Lanturn in a Dive Ball.

I don't care, even if it is in the Master Ball, we can't use it. That's the problem. It will be cool if they were in the Starter Ball but when you play for a while they evolve and get old so the pokéballs name doesn't fit with the big and old pokemon. And when we trade another starter from another game that means that we have two starters.

Should your starter pokemon be in a special poke-ball??

I would love for there to be more poke-balls in the games/animes, the top on my list is the poke-ball that your starter comes in.

It should not be the same old poke-ball; it should be a unique poke-ball for the starters.

What do you think?
Remember that those Pokemon were already caught by someone. However, who says Prof. namehere has to catch 'em with Poke Balls? maybe...
EDIT: However, in Kanto, Oak did catch them before Poke Balls were made, so in Kanto, yes,

A ball like the SpecialBall for all pokemon you recive. Even in gamecorner.
The specialball would have no value whatsoever, but it would be cool.

I voted Yeah. I'm a sucker for Special Pokéballs and their pretty effects =/

But they are your Starter Pokémon, so they shoudl have some distinction from the rest, even if it is just aesthetics.
