Status Conditions/Weather

I've looked all around the site for a page about status conditions, but I couldn't find one. Does anyone know how all the status conditions and sub-status conditions work? For example, what percentage of HP does Poison take away every turn? What percentage of HP does Burn take every turn? Also I've heard that Burn lowers Attack, how much does it lower it by? Does it only lower Attack or Special Attack also? How much HP does Leech Seed take away? What about confusion? Etc.

Also, what about the weather? How much does Sandstorm take away? How much does Hail take away?

If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the help.

standard poison and burn take 1/8th, rounded down.

burn cuts attack in half. physical attack only.

hail/sandstorm take 1/16, rounded down, per turn

toxic/poison fang poison take 1/16, then 2/16, then 3/16, and so on. rounded down.

leech seed takes 1/8, rounded down.

if a pokemon hurts itself in confusion, it performs an attack with 40 base power on itself.

SPECIAL BONUS SECTION: curse (ghost-type) / nightmare take 1/4th, rounded down, each turn.

you can't poison a poison- or steel-type, or something with immunity, you can't burn a fire-type or something with flash fire (which are all fire-types, but if you skill swap it onto something else it becomes relevant.) you can't leech seed a grass-type, but it can be BPed onto one (oddly).

Thanks for clearing things up. Where did you learn this stuff?

experience, having faced all of these multiple times and just being curious about things i figured it out myself.

also, something i forgot above: rough skin takes 1/16, rounded down.

i was reminded because i'm playing back through my emerald and fighting carvanha.

I have a question. Can a Steel type not be poisoned by Twineedle?

actually, i think it can. the reason steel-types can't be poisoned, usually, is that all the poison-inducing moves are poison-type, which steel is immune to. since twinneedle is bug-type, it can hit steels. i'm not sure, though, since the only user of twinneedle isn't worth using.

Exactly. Steel types usually don't get poisoned because they are immune to poison type attacks which would poison them.
Twineedle can poison, but is a bug type attack which steel types are not immune to.
I decided to test it, and I haven't had any luck.
That makes me wonder if steel Pokémon can be poisoned by Poison Point?
Considering my results with Twineedle, I doubt it.
I'm pretty sure I read you can poison a steel type with Twineedle somewhere.
If anyone has positive results with Poison Point or Twineedle, please do post.

What does BPed mean?

BP = Baton Pass

it can work like this:

celebi used leech seed!
umbreon was seeded!
umbreon used baton pass!
(trainer) sent out jumpluff!
leech seed drains jumpluff's HP!
