Steelix is much more intimidating which is cool, but Sizor is much more sleek. In my opinion they are matched in coolness.

Hard to say; one can Baton Pass, is fast with high Attack,, while the other is a super-tank, Stelath Rocks, Explodes, EQ's...... Steelix is my definate best. Not to mention it can actually do damgae to the other candidate.

Definitely go for Scizor. I'm not saying this just because of my username, but It has the same base attack as Machamp (130), Is still physically durable(100 def), is faster (65), and also counters a lot of dragon types competitively. However, Steelix is better for setup.

I prefer Scizor in terms of design but i don't use them.
Both have a 4x weakness to fire and fighting respectively making it difficult to use.

I prefer Steelix, as it looks much cooler in my opinion, and I personally see it as a dragon despite the fact that it is not a Dragon-type Pokémon. It can also be great in Draft Leagues and other team-locking settings by running a Sturdy + Custap Berry set with the appropriate coverage moves to deal with the opponent's Pokémon.
