Story line ruined…

Don’t you feel the story line for Gold and Silver (the best pokemon games EVER made) was ruined? I mean…with the remakes Fire red and Leaf green the story line for first generation pokemon was preserved (meaning the legendaries like moltres, zapdos and articuno…mewtwo etc.) But when crappy games, like colosseum, came along, raiku, suicune, entei ( they were all captured by stupid villains) , Ho-oh and even Lugia stories were all ruind…. I don’t Know if you understand my point at all…I’m not very good at English (my first language is Spanish) But Maybe they should have made remakes of Gold and Silver two! So 2nd generation pokemon story lines would have been preserved, instead of making stupid excuses for games so people could catch 1st and 2nd generation pokemon to transfer to their ruby and sapphire game packs… Gold and Silver are always going to be my favorites ?

Wouldn’t it be awesome if in FR and LG you could take the train from Kanto to Johto and continue the Johto journey from there???

Gold and Silver weren't that great, and it definatly didn't have a big enough story to warrant ruining.

bah gold & silver were the best, but the screwups in it were more noticable therefore giving gamefreak a bad rep.

But, but! :p riku, entei and suicune stories were so cool, the way they ran off from the temple or cave (I dont even remember...I was in high school!) and then you encaonter them ramdomly.... and Ho oh`s and Latia´s story were so cool. Day and Nigth features... I think I went off topic...

those games were great but look at the pattern

1st generation remakes on 3rd gen. so 2nd gen remakes on 4th gen (DS)

Boo Hoo! its a totally different set of games. get over it and quit whining. play the old games if you like them. dont play the new ones if you think they are so 'ruined'.

Completely nonesense. Plus, huge typos. Riku's from Kingdom Hearts, Latias' from RuSaE. If you need to know if it's day or night just because everything's darker, then you need to get some help really quickly. Get over the whining, for f***'s sake.

Riku was origionally from final fantasy...kingdom hearts just borrowed them from square enix. ;P

Colo/XD weren't that bad and G/S/C were good just like any other pokemon game except G/S/C set standards as being the first Pokemon handheld game to be in Colour plus it had new pokemon etc...

The only reason we got 1st gen remakes was to ne able to get every pokemon in one gen. We can get every Johto pokemon now, so there's absolutely NO reason to remake the 2nd gen.

Face it folks, Johto will fade into obscurity.

I do think/hope/pray that gamefreak has a G/S/C remake for the 4th Gen for the DS. Like we were told of all the "hints" that are told in D/P. Its comming!

Johto was alright. It wasnt all that and a bag of potato chips though. If u wanna play through johto again then find your colour games and play them
