hey guys i was wondering do you think there will be a story mode in this game i really think it should hav an rpg/story mode? wat u fink people?

alot of sources say it will be like pokemon stadium w/ a story mode maybe, so not really. story mode is getting less challenging in my opinion.

I love story modes. I ALWAYS wanted a 3d adventure that immersed you in a true Pokémon world. And by that I mean one where the Pokés live and interact as if it were a real planet, kinda like in the anime. I can always hope. As long as it is original, fun, and a bit better than the past Cube titles. Something more Pokémony and magic like the handhelds. Stadium style is gonna rock, but an added story would also be awesome too.

yeah i like the way u think man yeah its true but id prefer if they made a gba reamke or somthing more similar to the gba game in 3D

Would be great if there was a story mode. Otherwise i have to think twice before buying the game. Maybe that you can also unlock and buy special clothes during the storymode. Like if you beat the guy with the LucarioHat he gives one to you.

Yah, they'll probably end up being on Animal Crossing sometime ^_^. Character customising is going to be great, maybe if it did have a story mode you'd be your own character. I always named the 'hero' Andrew/Andy after myself since I always considered it to be based on you having your own adventure. To actually have your own 3D sprite too? WOW!

Well, anyone who wanted story mode, sorry...
And for the smart people who opened their eyes and realized that Nintendo made all poke's obtainable via the handhelds so they could make a Stadium 3, YAY for us! Well, that's just my theory. Nintendo can do whatever they want.
YAY for-
-Customizable characters!
-Rental poke'mon!
-Stadium-like gameplay!

Wouldnt mind a story mode... but please no more shadow pokemon. They were good the first time, but got old fast with your one chance to catch them strategy.

Well, you actually had infinite times to catch them, just later on in the game. The only reason I'm playing Coloseum is to get Ho-oh and all those unobtainable elsewhere Johtos.

well story mode needed and please if they r goin to do shadow pokemon make all the pokemon shadow or give us the chance to make them which will never happen

I'm glad there's no story mode. I don't want Shadow Pokemon anymore. I want a bunch of Cups with different rules. I want a Gym Leader Castle, Free Play, and a place not unlike Earl's Pokemon Academy.

YES! Exactly! I've wanted that ever since, hmmm... I think right when i opened up the Coloseum game, all ready to battle my brothers with my rental team of Ruby and Saphire poke'mon, only to discover that it no longer existed... I was heartbroken, until now!

Well,I'm not sure if you would consider this story mode but,on the PBR info page,it says it has an RPG element much like colloseum.

Story mode would be a great idea, or else it would just get boring after a while, battling people via WiFi. Although, it should be fun to see the variety of Pokemon teams that they build up.
