I was just wondering (and there may be a topic on this but i havent found it) but, is there a story like Colluseum and XD or is it simply a battle game (like Stadium?)

I hope theres a story O_O!

It may be better but I was really looking forward to story mode even though I had a good feeling it wouldn't happen.

Well, I can tell it'll be a good game anyway!

I sympathize with you. I was really looking forward to a story, or at least a mode where you could go around a world or Region catching Pokemon. I don't think that's really too much to ask...

Why are you crying about a story. All you say it suck when the DX and the Gamecube one come out. then they make this one with out one. So Stop your crying

No, actually I thought Colosseum and XD were pretty good. I mean yeah, the story was short and cliche, but at least it was THERE! I just don't see the point in spending 50 bucks for something like this.

Anyway, let me put it into perspective for you.

Ever since the Wii came out, I've been waiting for a Pokemon game to come out for it (as I'm sure many of you have too). I figured that since it was taking so, they were just taking their time on it, so I was like, 'Since they're taking so much time, it must mean the game's gonna be awesomely epic.'.

I remember having dreams of Pokemon games for the Wii, then waking up and being ****** because it wasn't real. The wait was killing me. And I'm sure that lots of you have been through that at one point or another.

So the game comes out, and it's categorized as an RPG. And it has NO STORY! How does an RPG have no story, let ALONE one on a next-gen system?! There is no excuse for it. None. They simply half-***ed it.

And that's how much they're charging for this. I mean, I could see if they were only making this as an expansion to Diamond and Pearl (which I thought were very enjoyable games), and only charging 20 bucks. But 50?! Are they out of their minds?

I mean, how would you like it if the next Final Fantasy game didn't have any plot, but instead made you fight the same twenty or so guys over and over again until you were leveled up enough to beat the last boss, only to be rewarded by a simple credits sequence?

I'm sorry, but I'll be renting this one first. Plus, after 21 days, I can do that free. XD

Well it do have a little story. It is you get a pass for this place to battle. While you make it to the top you battle the Colosseum Leaders. That it.

There is no real point in a story since this game was made for only a certain purpose: To make money buy having people buy it, so they can go on random battles in Wi-Fi, and battle in 3-D, and Genius Sonority rushed this game, so they couldn't really make up a story that could end up crap and you guys complaining that they shouldn't have added a story and left it as it is like Stadium.

Why can't we get legendaries? If we've got Ho-oh and the 3 dogs, Lugia and the 3 birds, then why not Shadow Regigigas and the three Regis?
