Kind of goes along with my "what the.." topic, but this one is once again inspired by now the strange, strange things that some trainers say to you when you just can't help but feel that there's a few, or a lot, of things wrong with their thoughts.

To name a few:

Pokemon Emerald:

~double battle against Kindler and Ninja Boy~
Kindler: "I like little TRAINERS like you. Lets have some fun!"
Ninja Boy: "You better be on your guard, or else you're in for a world of pain!"

Uuuuh....that kindler seems to be lighting someone's fire in the wrooong place with the wrooong age-group. ;097; Someone should befriend a Hypno and start a club.
And not to mention, that Ninja Boy sounds like he's had to work with Mr. Jackson here quite a few times before, considering his ominous warning.


~double battle with Young Couple Dez and Luke~
Luke "We're here on a date. I'm going to show her how cool I am and then I'm sure she'll fall for me! I know! I'll cream you and show her I'm cool!"

o_O WHO TAKES A GIRL ON A DATE IN A CEMETERY! Mt. Pyre is NOT romantic under any standard outside the goth-variety. Seriously dude, not a way to make an impression. And umm... "I'll cream you.." creaming on other people in front of a girl you're trying to impress is absolutely a no-no in the "I'm trying to impress this girl" handbook last time I checked.

Well from RBY here was the kid who really liked shorts because they were comfy and fun to wear. Also the Juggler who dropped one of his balls...Totally age appropriate.

Didn't see it in the first few so I figured it was a safe bet.

And the juggler with the ball-dropping, yeah.... prosthetics are a pain like that. :p

That topic simply discusses adult content in the game, in this I'm just talking about the strange bizarre things that happen, no matter what they are.

Not everything strange has to pertain to sex.

Just gonna point out in both RSE and FRLG there are trainers named Nob, FRLG is a hiker on the route east of Cerulean, and i think the Karate guy in Hoenn is in the desert.

Also i remember the lass outside Mt.Moon who says "Eek, did you touch me?"... kinda suspiciousn there.

I remember a Hoennic female swimmer asking me, a stranger, if her bathing suit looked good. She then proceed to ask why men perve at swim suits.

I too, remember the kindler who likes kids like me... Mummy, please kill it!!1!

Plus, Blaine. Nuff said really.

Pedo sailor has nothing on pedo Hypno in Berry Forest in Sevii Islands.

I think all R/B/Y trainers had quite cool quotes. Especially Youngsters.

"What gender is the first trainer in Dewford Town's/Brawly's (can't remember which it asked) gym?"

The trainers in various games who talk as though they won when you just beat them, such as the trainer in Colosseum who says her battle style was "too sophisticated for you" when she just lost.

In Platinum, there are a couple quotes that had me saying "huh?"

Can't recall what points in the game these are from, but...

"Seriously, what's that? What am I? A Pokemon or something? Mmm...Honey"

and

"Your pokemon are so muscular. It makes me sigh seeing them."

that would have been the most epic trainer sprite ever if they hadn't used the original female swimmer sprite.

In Platinum when you deafeat the 5 maid challenge and then defeat Liam, he says "Oh, I'll ask you not to pry into what I'm doing in the back of the mansion" followed by "This knowing wink is all you'll get out of me."

A little strange considering there are 5 maids in that back room.
