hey, before u guys found out about serebii, did u all just use fully offensive styles, that was me, i neva thought of using the annoying tactic inlucidng toxic and confuse the oppenent. im still not sure that it will do much. Whatcha guys reckon, and oh yeah have u guys or do u guys make full typed pokemon teams. like my pokemon are dark type, did u overcome, that some trainers could bea u with just a type advantage pokemon. Like a i had a full grass, and muy friend killed me with just his charizard and i got so angry, so i gave up on leaf pokemon ages ago, that was 2yrs ago, now im a dark trainer coz they can be mixed, eg: Houndoom. It doesn't mean that Serebii learned us all to battle good. I am pretty sure that only people who don't have good skills to battle use only attacking moves.

I used moves like Swords Dance, Recover and such in every game, except Fire Red which I was making jokes.

totally agree , we don't have our battle skills from serebii, sometimes we do, but some come from stadium 2 too, and I made some up myself before I saw that they were on serebii.

No, I used actual strategies even before I found out about SPP. And I had Polytype Pokémon Teams, because Monotypes just aren't my thing. Polytype Teams give you an advantage in case your opponent has Polytypes too. And I had my own tactics, and only learned a few better ones from Serebii.

Woo, now I actually know what he was talking about.

I think I still rely on offense to much, though my Cacnea is incedibly annoying according to my friends. My Salamence knows all offense moves, which I find rather annoying now and never use it, so yes, ever since coming to these forums my battling style has changed, but not because of Serebii himself.
