I never said he was a beast but he definitely hasn't been shown to be weak.

Stephan's Sawk can take out like half his pokemon though lol. Well Ice Cream and Clown at least. Plus I'm pretty sure Sawk is faster then Serperior so he would probaly put up a good fight...

But after Cookie Monster loses, Stephan will only have My Little Pony to use against Lampent, Frillish, Tranquill and Serperior.

Because he's in the league? Who says he'll be in a 3v3 match? The rules to making it to the pokemon league are that you must obtain 8 badges. Nobody has ever said anything about the number of pokemon.

I really doubt zebstrika could defeat jellicent. That thing tanked a vine whip leaf blade and leaf storm without breaking a sweat and disabled it immediately.

Recover

You said why should I care if he has a third pokemon if we haven't seen it yet, implying that whether the third pokemon was strong or not, you would still ignore it and claim Trip was stronger.
