Personnally i have no idea why they came up with splash. it does absolutley nothing.

Also protect is pretty gay, it just wastes PP, unless your special ability is Pressure, 1 PP for 2 PP.

How about you, what is your opinion?;280; ;109; ;009;

Please don't use 'Gay' as an insult. It's pathetic.

Splash is useless. And Protect can actually be used in situations to give YOU the uphand. Seems you've never gone beyond ingame battling.

Protect can also help if you had done Leech Seed before or if you have Leftovers attached. It gives you some time - you heal ^^

Well splash is USELESS & i think they made it just for fun or something .cuz it's only a splash, & protect is quite useful cunn!ng told you why, & i don't think there's a move that is useless (exapt splash).

Splash was just put in so it's harder to train a Magikarp to evolve it.

Momento is pretty gay. Probably put in as a last resort.

Protect is pretty useful

and Splash is supposed to do nothing, that makes training Magikarp that much harder...

but the most useless attack IMO is definately Constrict

what does it do again? it hits once, only does 10 damage, and if you're lucky, it MAY lower your opponent's speed.

I never found the use of Foresight/Odor Sleuth. Thats just because the Pokemon I train; I never give them it. It would be useful if you were fighting a Double Team-*hore to reset its evasiveness. Also the Sableye thing; using it to super-effectively hit it. Machoke is the only Fighting type I can htink of with Foresight though.

I think Memento is such a stupid move. I mean, you kill yourself for the price of immobolizing one attack?? Come on! I would use destiny bond or explosion over it any day.

Emohawk
Memento, for stated reasons.
Splash, to make Magikarp harder to train.
Self Destruct: why bother when most Pokemon that get it also get Explosion, which does the same thing, but stronger?
And why Bind AND Wrap? They're nearly (or are) identical!

Splash may not have any use, but Momento actually puts the user to a dissadvantage. I mean, letting yourself faint to lower both attack stats of the opponent that are returned to normal when switched? If it lowered all opponent's stats to the minimum amount that would still remain when the opponent switched, then it would have some use. But now. Fainting yourself to force the opponent to switch the next turn. How uber.

And I also wandered about Self-Destruct. With Explosion, it is totally useless. And it's not like more PP will make it better compared to Explosion like Flamethrower/Fire Blast.

I did it!!
I think Splash is totally funny.

I Dont understand why Explosian and Self-Destruct have 5 PP. Its not like it will need those PP when it faints.

I think Splash is completley useless move....I mean it does absolutley nuthin....and why does IT HAVE 40 PP!!!!
And whas sad about this move is that it's Pokemon have no use for it such as:
Spoink
Hoppip
Magikarp
Azurill
Very Very Sad U_U

N00b in the dungeon!
The most stupidest and pointlessest moves are the moves you took in making this thread. First off, using gay as an insult is pathetic and offensive to homosexuals. Secondly, pointlessest isn't a genuine word, and shows bad grammar. And last of all, don't randomly chuck in random smilies like that, as it makes you look like a n00b.
On topic, I despise most of the cheap, dull moves that lousy in-game trainers often use, like Double Team, and I also dislike the moves you get on early-on Pokemon. Except Leech Seed 0__o
