always thinking about Pokemon~
Plot: In the world of Pokemon there are many myths and legends of the mysteries that reside within such a vast world. One of those which is a prophecy that foretells the destruction of everyone and everything. This is know as the Dawn of Destruction. The prophecy was found written on a stone tablet inside an ancient temple in the far South. "The sky's blue beauty shall be tainted by the dark terror that consumes and destroys," is a quote directly from the prophecy. Of course no one truly believed this to be true, the majority of the Pokemon dismissed it as a myth or an old folk tale. "When the purple relic scars the ground, the Pokemon shall panic. The Knower will receive the sight of the destruction, to let all know the end is approaching," is another direct quote from the prophecy. This tells of a signal that warns all life that the end is closing in on them, still no one cared or worried about it. That is until a certain event took place.
A comet of ominous purple flames was seen heading towards the Pokemon planet and the psychic Xatu got a mysterious vision. He claimed to have seen the vision of the End consuming all life and leaving nothing but empty darkness. Xatu was never the same after that vision, he is now plagued by dark visions every now and then. People dismissed him as a lunatic but the purple comet was something harder to dismiss as a hoax. The purple comet crashed onto the planet, bearing the Dark Mark. It was a purple circle with a red dot in the center. This mark was above the prophecy and no one could dismiss this.
This easily began a widespread panic across the Pokemon world and now they have to take action before it is too late. But no one really knows what to do or how to stop it. Unfortunately the terror was worsened when a black dot appeared high in the sky, small and ominous. It looms over a secluded island known as Longtemp Island. It is said that it has existed since the beginning of time and that the first Pokemon had existed there. Just as the prophecy fortetold, "The shadow void will appear where it all began, proclaiming the beginning of the end. It will be small and harmless at first, but with every moment that goes by it shall grow into the end of everything,".
All exploration teams are forming their best groups to pull together and save the fate of all life. No one really knows where to go but they have to try anything and everything they possibly can. But unfortunately there are some obstacles in the way, the Void has released some creatures made of shadow energy that are savage and vicious. "The creatures of darkness have been sent forth to be relieved of their lust for blood,". So the danger factor has been set up even higher and time is running out. There are three types of shadow monsters that have been sent forth: Kryptids, Raverz, and Faltens. Kryptids are these dog-like creatures that have a third eye on there skull and long tails that form an arrow on the end. Raverz are these t-rex-like creatures with intense red-eyes, long claws, and enormous fangs. Faltens are bird-llike creatures with sharp talons, two heads with sharp beaks and razor wings. Kryptids fire red beams of energy from their mouths, Faltens release this dark smog from their mouths that paralyzes an enemy if inhaled, and Raverz release black flames from their mouth. When defeated they disintegrate into dark mist that fades from existence.
Unfortunately the creatures of the void aren't the only thing that stand in the way of the exploration teams. The void's dark energy has already begun to corrupt Pokemon and turn them evil. Those Pokemon that have been corrupted bear the Dark Mark on their foreheads, but the mark serves another purpose other than proclaiming being a pawn of the void. The Dark Mark is used to drain life energy from other nature and Pokemon. The void slowly consumes life energy which it needs to expand, but the servants can expedite the process by collecting energy themselves which is automatically sent to the void. It has not been discovered yet how to free Pokemon from the control of the void.
Your Role: Those of you who are part of an exploration team are starting off at Noctowl's Guild ready to embark on the journey to Longtemp Island. Those of you who are servants of the void will be heading to Longtemp Island because the void has been telling you to do so. The creatures of the void will only attack those who do not bare the Dark Mark (exploration teams). You can also be a solo explorer if you'd like.
