Team Elite - "Because Money Talks!"

HOW IT ALL WENT DOWN

Back in the 1980s, when decent music still existed, the government of Unova invested big bucks into a scientific research firm called JRD, yet another acronym that no one remembers what exactly it stood for. And like many other things the government invested in, they simply forgot about it, didn't audit their balance sheets, and continued to cut checks and unknowingly fund a bunch of mad scientists that were pretty much allowed to do whatever they want and keep collecting money that people were paying taxes for.

For thirty years, JRD existed in the shadows, only they called themselves Neo Genesis because JRD wasn't really a creative name anyway. In truth, most people would have browned their pants if they knew what Neo Genesis was doing with poor captured Pokémon that were really not asking for any trouble. And every now and then, they'd hire interns from a sappy job board online, promise "great growth opportunities" and no one would ever hear from them again, not sure if they became full time employees and just never called home, or if they got turned into a Pikachu and have been stuck in a cage running a giant hamster wheel to power the coffee maker. Thanks to Neo Genesis, they created over four hundred new Pokémon species in underground labs across Unova that no one even got to know about, as well as did other crazy creations involving screwing around with genetics.

And for over thirty years, they enjoyed it, but after a while, they realized no one really got to see the fruits of their labor as they kept everything secret. And it didn't take very long for them to get that screwed in the head to want to find ways to share what they made... all at once. After doing all kinds of crazy, inhuman things to themselves and other Pokémon, they decided humans were too old school to continue loafing around, being all human-like. Humans, to Neo Genesis, were like hula hoops and disco clubs trying to exist today. Or like going into an ice cream parlor that serves a hundred different flavors and then be a silly twit by choosing vanilla.

Enter Revelation Mutagen Gas. It was Neo Genesis's way of deciding to put a really quirky mark on the history books by, well, wanting to change humans into half-human, half-Pokémon creatures called "Pokémorphs," kind of like what many of them had done to themselves already. Or in some cases, "Chimeras," where they were nuts enough to take their favorite parts of multiple Pokémon and tack it all onto themselves in one package, like the fur of one Pokémon, wings of another, some other Pokémon's tail, the colors of another Pokémon, and the fun went on, as if what Arceus made was just a bunch of Legos to screw around with and then wear in the form of a permanent Halloween costume.

Anyway, Revelation Mutagen Gas, called RMG for people too lazy to say the whole thing, was generously unleashed upon Unova via twelve massive canisters opened like piñatas in the middle of Nimbasa City in a warehouse no one bothered to check out until the whole thing blew up. It didn't take very long for people to freak out, and in the beginning, people thought the gas was lethal. Nimbasa City was frantically evacuated, and it didn't take very long before people found out what the gas did. Only 7% of Nimbasa's citizens were "infected," but it was discovered that it was possible to be infected multiple times, ending up with the attributes of one Pokémon and then have another one's tacked on, and another one's after that, and so on, making a real mess out of things.

The gas kept spreading all over Unova, and travel businesses and cruiseliners, not expecting such a high demand in the "LET'S GET THE FRICK OUT OF HERE" industry to suddenly pick up, got paid a pretty penny for shipping people out. But, soon enough, checkpoints were set up, and anyone with any bit of RMG on them was barred from leaving Unova and quickly deported away from the docks, as people feared the frick out of RMG. Unova, as it was, became quarantined. The Unova government was proud to declare that 85% of the population managed to escape from Unova and be shipped off to Sinnoh, Johto, or wherever. As for the remaining 15% somewhere out there, well, Unova wished them the best of luck. The polite way of saying "you're screwed."

THE FOUNDING OF TEAM ELITE

Unova realized their major goof up after checking out the books again and someone actually smart made the connection between the insane Neo Genesis and JRD, which was actually supposed to stand for "Joint Research Division" back on a 1981 manual that had already yellowed quite nicely in the archives. Problem was, the Unova government officials no longer had their Unova stuff, including their shiny offices, their new exotic cars, their shore houses, and if word got out that they really screwed up, well, things would get ugly.

They needed someone to, well, take care of the Neo Genesis problem. And the fact they let out over 800 new science-created Pokémon just go gallivanting into the Unova wilderness while Pokémorphs and Chimeras were walking around in Unova, having no idea what was to become of them, didn't look so hot either. They needed someone to clean up the mess and find a solution. And they felt sending the military would make things look too dire and political. Already, they had assure the Unova citizens that this was just a minor hiccup that would soon be solved, all the while keeping things quiet about the real nature of how things went down... the toilet.

So, who did they hire if it wasn't the military? Well, talented Pokémon trainers like yourself, of course! With an extra chunk of money from cutting off funding to "JRD," they could pay each trainer they hired fifty million dollars each to head into Unova and put an end to Neo Genesis, and maybe find a way to clean up the gas, round up the wild Pokémon that really shouldn't have existed and maybe put them into a goofy zoo, and find something to address the Pokémorph/Chimera thing. Hopefully. Great deal, huh? Because yeah, otherwise Unova is fully in Neo Genesis's hands, and that could get ugly. Like the burrito you hid in the glove compartment and only discovered two weeks later.

And so, the Unova government quietly hired you as "Team Elite," given the mission to head into a region now thick with mutagen chemical gases, strange new Pokémon, Unova citizens that have probably lost their marbles over what they have become, and well, other fun stuff. But that's good, because Trainers like you are prepared for adventure, right?

And I repeat, fifty million dollars! Just as long as you keep the truth hushed up, okay?

MECHANICS (NOT THE ONES THAT WORK ON YOUR CAR)

You're a Unova citizen who managed to be one of the lucky 85% of the people that evacuated before they closed the gates. Okay, not all that lucky, but still. Or you're someone from the outside that caught their interest, because you're just that extra special. Either way, the Unova government is sending you back into Unova to make things right, hopefully find something to undo the damage, and generally make sure Neo Genesis won't be a problem anymore, whatever that might entail.

The Unova officials gave you a gas mask, a badass night-camouflage uniform, high-tech radio equipment, and even whatever weapon(s) you wanted to have to make you feel cool and get motivated for a mission like you were some special black ops, A-Team, or otherwise macho elite commando ready to kick tail and chew bubble gum when really... no. There's a few things you should know too.

The gas mask doesn't actually work against RMG, so every time you make an RP post, you have a 10% chance (randomized rolls courtesy of random.org!) of having your character become infected and become a Pokémorph of a Pokémon. So every time a 10 or below pops up, you're infected with RMG!

"Uhh, yeah, so what happens when I get infected with RMG?"

When you get infected by RMG (after you're all done cursing your luck), you'll be presented with three Pokémon chosen by random (random.org, that is!), 1-649. All your favorites and all the ones you can't stand. So let's use an example, Jackie Williams, a hotshot and kickass-looking female trainer.

So let's say Jackie Williams makes a post, and on the randomized roll of 1-100 to see if she gets infected, she gets a 7 when I do the rolls. Since this is under 10, she gets infected with RMG! And this is where the fun begins.

So, after that, a randomized roll of 1-649 occurs three times. So, after trying it, this is what she gets to choose from:

#414 - Mothim
#255 - Torchic
#340 - Whiscash

Okay, so let's say she goes with Mothim. So her character transforms into a Mothim Pokémorph on her next post.

Since her luck sucks, let's say she gets infected again on her next post, and now she gets three more.

#623 - Golurk
#491 - Darkrai
#497 - Serperior

No contest here, she goes with Darkrai on this one (actually got pretty lucky!). So she can do just about anything that adds the Darkrai stuff to her already existing Mothim Pokémorph form, such as changing her colors to reflect Darkrai's and/or adding in the smoke-like features that Darkrai has.

Let's say she gets infected again.

#106 - Hitmonlee
#358 - Chimecho
#198 - Murkrow

She goes with Murkrow and gives herself that feathery Murkrow tail, and maybe the funny witch's hat crest that a Murkrow has as well, tacked on to all the things she has already. So actually, she doesn't look too half bad in the end.

And it goes on and on. See how it works? But yes, none of the forms can be completely "overwritten" which means at least something of the previous forms should still be there. Like she can't scrap the Mothim or Murkrow stuff by replacing it with whatever she gets next and make it seem like she never even got those. But don't panic if you get weird or stupid stuff, there will be ways to play around with this and possibly undo it later on in the RP. But that won't be for a while.

Oh yeah, and after being dropped in Nimbasa City, scene of the crime, you suddenly realize your radio equipment is only strong enough to reach your fellow team members. Something is now blocking long-range communications, so you can't contact HQ for more help... not like they would give it to you anyway.

And so begins the mission and the investigation to find the mad scientists of Neo Genesis and whatever more weirdness they've cooked up for dinner.

And let's not forget... fifty million dollars!

RULES

  • Absolutely no punching, no kicking, no screaming, and keep your hands and feet to yourself for the duration of the ride. Just kidding.
  • Follow SPPF's rules. Don't want to get this locked now, right?
  • God-modding... eh, whatever. Have a good time, as long as it's not super-lame and spoils the fun for everyone else. I'm okay with people busting out funny and outlandish stuff in an RP like this.
  • Slapping rabbit ears on someone and bunnying them is okay if they give you the green light to do so because they're leaving on vacation to somewhere in Djibouti or wherever. But dude, don't do it if they didn't say you could. It's lame.
  • When the plane is about to land, observe the no-smoking and seatbelt signs, and put your tray tables up and your seats back in the full, upright position. After the plane has landed, take all your personal carry-on bags and personal belongings from the overhead compartment.
  • You're free to make as many characters as you like. Just don't make them lonely by neglecting them! You wouldn't want that done to you!
  • Stuff should be no worse than PG13. Violence is great, but don't jump all over the idea of slapping ridiculous sexual or racist content in your posts. It's just... mean.
  • Be creative and make your own plot twists, I'm okay with that. Be a player, not a spectator!

Reserving a spot like woah. I'll probably bring Kris back from Alternate, because I only ever got to make one post with him. He'd be all over a mission like this anyway, because fifty million dollars.

I also might make another character (unless I sign up in Broken Sun), but one reserve's enough for now~

You got it, and yeah, that RP was meh, but I confidently feel this one will be thousands of times better.

And yeah, because... fifty million dollars!

Serious fun indeed. And that reserve is a go.

NAME: Alex Waters
GENDER: Male
AGE: 29

APPEARANCE: Standing 6'4" with a fair to slightly tan skin complexion, Alex has brown hair that reaches down almost over his shoulders, and has brown eyes. Since he works out with his Pokémon, he has a stronger, more muscular body. He has a few scars from rough times with sports, but generally nothing serious. Meanwhile, he has a tattoo of a Lugia on his back.

He likes the night-camouflage uniform he's been given, really the only military kind of thing he has ever worn. It includes a night digital camo patrol cap, jacket, and cargo pants, along with a pair of black leather boots. Meanwhile, he wears a black leather belt with his equipment and Pokéballs.

PERSONALITY: Casual, easy-going, and influenced by peer pressure all the time, Alex is very politically incorrect and never treats formality seriously. He's the kind that likes to bungee jump, skydive, race cars, and generally get into "fun trouble." He's broken a few minor laws plenty of times, but nothing really serious.

Alex is also a mechanic besides being a Pokémon trainer, good at repairing things, especially after he's broken them. He's generally not careful with his own property, and especially not careful with other people's stuff. Case in point, never trust him with a rental car. But, typically, he's good enough to repair things to the point where insurance really doesn't need to find out.

Alex couldn't resist the fifty million dollar offer, not by a long shot. He'd do it even for just one million dollars, but fifty million dollars to have a good time and go all out was just something he'd never refuse. As a result, his sense of love for adventure is pretty strong, and never really considers the risks or consequences, or just laughs at them and simply asks "what's the worst that could happen?"

HISTORY: Alex was born in Lacunosa Town, in Unova to Valerie Waters and Tyler Waters. As a child, Alex often got into trouble, but still had a way of fixing thing at the end. In essence, he liked to make messes, but he had his ways of fixing them, or at least trying to fix them, in the end.

As a kid, Alex was reckless in school, and his grades were okay, mostly B and C material. Getting the chance to go out and train Pokémon was way more interesting. He started off with a Drillbur, received from his father, as a starter Pokémon to take along on his journey. Alex nicknamed him Dozer, and ventured through Unova.

It took Alex roughly two years to complete his journey, catching and finding various Pokémon along the way. He took his time as well, making sure his Pokémon were well trained so they'd clobber gym leaders with almost certainty before he faced them. Even still, he had fun and went wild along the way, never passing up a good opportunity to do something fun. When he made it to the league, he registered for a tournament, and made it to the final round. The whole trip came crashing down when he lost the final match by a badly called technicality violation by the disgruntled ref, thinking the metal arm bands that his Jolteon, Rogue, were wearing just for fashion were actually performance-enhancement drug-administering devices used to get an unfair advantage. The entire battle was stopped, the bands were confiscated for analysis, and Alex was disqualified with the victory handed to his opponent, Ross, even though Alex was two Pokémon ahead of him. Only two days later did the League's analysis teams and review council conclude there was nothing wrong with the bands, but the battle was long over with by then. Rather than admit they made a mistake, they simply continued to hail Ross as the Champion and forget about Alex. And so they held a big victory feast for Ross.

He got back at them by sneaking into the kitchen and putting laxatives in the desserts after jamming the locks on the doors to the bathrooms shortly after dinner was served.

Still, Alex returned to school but continued training Pokémon. He continued work as a mechanic in Lacunosa, and it wasn't long the notice to evacuate went out. He managed to get out in time by using his Swellow to reach Castelia City, but the government eventually came to him presenting him with the mission after looking into his personal record for Pokémon training. Ross had dwindled into too much of a geek to recruit for the mission, not to mention Ross was too busy try to earn Computer Science degrees.

For fifty million dollars, Alex couldn't have asked for more.

EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS: Alex loves fireworks, so the Unova government gave him some C4 explosives to blow crap up if he wanted to. Basically the same thing, right? Meanwhile, he carries a repair kit with him and a high-tech universal power tool to fix stuff, or even wreck stuff up if he wants.

For weapons, Alex carries an M249 SAW light machine gun, as well as an MP5K as his sidearm.

SKILLZ: Most of Alex's skills revolve around machines, both repairing them and destroying them with explosives. On top of that, he also knows how to hotwire a car. He's also a good driver, although he does like to drive fast. Definitely would be a great getaway driver.
HITS: Driving (fast), spicy food, action movies, energy drinks
MISSES: Reality shows, formal occasions, political correctness
THEME SONG: Judas Priest - You've Got Another Thing Comin'
OTHER: Alex collects movie posters and makes them the wallpaper to his room.

POKÉMON

NAME: Dozer
SPECIES: Excadrill
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Dozer is what Alex considers as his "Hulk" Pokémon, made to tear down walls, dig trenches, and otherwise destroy things. Dozer refuses to be denied by anyone, can be rough, can endure a lot of punishment, and only seems to get tougher and angrier the more his enemies attempt to take him down. While slow and heavy, Dozer and Rogue working together make for a very dynamic team that watch each other's backs and can cover for the other when there's a challenge that one can perform that the other can't. Dozer originally started as Alex's starter, back as a Drillbur.

NAME: Rogue
SPECIES: Jolteon
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Using Rogue the Jolteon generally for his speed, Alex Waters is able to make sure a running target is a dead target the moment his enemies turn his back on him to flee. While Alex Waters is still agile and can still run quickly by himself, Rogue ensures that a running human target cannot outrun him, and generally, once Rogue is deployed, the chances of getting away are dramatically slimmed down. Meanwhile, when in a Pokémon battle, Rogue runs laps and loops around his adversaries, and likes to go for the final strike attacking from behind. Outside of battle, Rogue is a lot like his trainer. Reckless, wild, carefree, and enjoys being a daredevil. Originally, Rogue was found as a wild Eevee, found in a neglected poacher's trap. After being caught, it took Rogue a long time to be able to trust humans again, but eventually he opened up to Alex.

NAME: Backlash
SPECIES: Hydreigon
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY Temperamental and unpredictable, Backlash is extremely quick to anger and irritating. At the same time, he's also very easily distracted and almost always falls for the simplest of taunts and jeers. His power, however, is significant, but the main issue is he just can't control himself, and goes berserk very easily. When used with other Pokémon, the rest of Alex's team just gives Backlash his own personal room to go nuts in, not wanting to get caught in the way of his rather reckless attacks. Alex encountered Backlash as a Deino on Victory Road, and had a dickens of a time trying to train him. Eventually, he got him into gear... somewhat.

NAME: Paladin
SPECIES: Arcanine
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Proud, loyal, and fierce, Paladin is a devout protector and a selfless team player. At the same time, Paladin has absolutely no tolerance for evil or the wicked. He's also a hard worker that would probably agree with whoever came up with the quote "smooth waters don't make a strong sailor." While strong and courageous, he never looks down upon weak allies, but instead tries to lead by example and show them how to properly fight and accomplish goals and objectives. He finds some of Alex's actions to be a bit on the reckless and unpredictable side, but he shows respect toward him for having an honest heart. Alex acquired Paladin from another visiting trainer from Kanto, trading his Unfezant in exchange.

NAME: Guile
SPECIES: Floatzel
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Sneaky, crafty, and of course, guile, this Floatzel is virtually fearless and laughs at consequences like they're a joke. As a result, he's a trickster, a jester, or whatever you want to call someone who's always up to mischief. Like Alex, he often likes taunting his adversaries, getting them steaming mad and then laughing about their wild swings and angry expressions. He also learned how to use explosives, and he absolutely loves them. Guile was caught on Route 11 as a Buizel and then trained to become a Floatzel.

NAME: Shrike
SPECIES: Swellow
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Shrike is loud and boisterous, and is a Pokémon that absolutely loves attention and being with people or other Pokémon. She also likes lots of noise, action, and excitement, and gets very easily bored and tired if there's nothing interesting or exciting going on. She's also prone to distractions, especially things that are more exciting than what she's currently doing at the moment. In battle, she likes to intimidate her enemies with noise and shrill cries, using sound as her intimidation source. Alex caught her on Route 13, and kept training her throughout his trainer career.

*Jean Grey*

Night Triumphant
NAME: Theresa Del Monico

GENDER: Female

AGE: 21

APPEARANCE: Standing at six feet, Theresa is a tall young woman with long, honey-blonde waves reaching her hips, pale skin and icy blue-gray eyes, framed with long lashes and rimmed with dark circles under them, which she covers with make-up and concealer. It's also common to see her wearing dark eyeshadow. Her nose is pointed and high-bridged, her eyebrows are of medium thickness and her teeth are not exactly pure white, but yellowish-white, as a result of her smoking and weakness for beer. Her hands have long fingers, but are rather rough compared to most other girls', and have a long scar across each palm, a result of the usual routine of pledging loyalty within her gang. Her long-legged body is slim and lean, but not at all skinny, with ample, E-cup breasts and a nice figure, which allows her to wear whatever clothes she pleases (Usually sexy). Her navel is pierced, as are her ears (two holes in each ear). Inked on her upper left breast is a small tattoo of a skull, done with black ink. With the low-cut tops she usually wears, this tattoo is easily visible.

Theresa normally dresses up in revealing black clothing with a gothic influence, as well as a few other dark colors at times. She dislikes pink and pastels, and refuses to wear them no matter how much you bribe her or torture her. Before she joined Team Elite, her usual outfit consisted of a sleeveless black zip-up leather vest which she wears with no shirt underneath and doesn't zip up all the way, exposing some of her ample cleavage. For her bottoms, she wears black mini shorts and tops it with a black belt with silver studs and a small skull-shaped buckle on her hips. Her shoes are black knee-high buckled motorcycle boots with heels. She wears black fingerless gloves, a black choker around her neck and a gunmetal-colored hoop in each of her four ear piercings. Her navel ring is shaped like a small wolf's head and is silver in color.

Her night-camouflage uniform is black and consists of a black night-camouflage tank top which is ripped to expose her navel, piercing and midriff, matching short black shorts and tall black lace-up combat boots. She wears a black leather jacket over her shirt, black fingerless gloves and a black night-camouflage beret. When in uniform, her long hair is usually fixed into a single braid or tied in a side-ponytail. Her pistols are held in leather holsters hanging from black leather belts strapped around her bare thighs, one around each, and the black leather utility belt she wears around her shorts, as well as her Pokeballs which are all mind you, Dusk Balls.

PERSONALITY: Theresa is a blunt, outspoken, rather brash young woman who doesn't come off as very feminine and has the tendency to speak her mind all the time, sometimes giving the impression of being cold and hostile towards others. Being a former gang member, she exhibits roguish tendencies and disregard for social norms and rules, which led her to several detainments in Juvie and later on, a short time in prison. As expected from a girl like her, she is not very careful with her words and swears a lot, which can put a lot of people off. Despite not doing very well in Pokemon school (she usually played truant and didn't study very much), Theresa is naturally clever and definitely not one you'd call stupid. Because she had a virtually absent father, she learned how to be independent and thus, knows how to survive and does what she can in order to do so. She also has a slight sadistic streak, often enjoying it when those she doesn't like end up hurt, defeated or reprimanded. It's not that she's psycho, but rather, it stems from her old grudges against those who caught her, hurt her and detained her. On grudges, hers run so deep, it's difficult for her to get over them and sometimes affects the way she behaves towards others, which range from normal to flat-out cold and difficult to convince.

Though she is rather easy to get along with, Theresa can be rather difficult when irritated, especially when faced with problems such as impracticality and non-compliance in situations that call for cooperation, pains in the asses and her own work being insulted or not working as well as she predicted. It is easy for her to lash out verbally when she is, and she could be harsh with her words and threats, becoming rather scary and frigid in the process. However, she would never, ever hurt her comrades physically, no matter now much they annoy her. She however, tries to keep her cool in most situations as much as she can, and she usually does, but of course there are times when she could lose it...she is only human after all.

Theresa's taste is extremely dark and macabre and she dislikes flowery, sickly cute and generally pink themes. She revels in the shadowy side of everything, as evidenced by her taste in clothing and Pokemon. Black is her favorite color, and her taste reflects it. She is one person who would definitely not find conventionally cute Pokemon "cute".

HISTORY: Theresa was originally from Lacunosa Town, known for its strict rules and regulations. Ever since she was young, she felt like she never knew her parents. Her birth mother died when she was only seven years old and her father, Leonardo, slipped into alcoholism soon after, which made him ignore Theresa. It was up to her older half-sister to watch out for her, but the younger girl was rather difficult to control. Theresa always had a thing for causing trouble, and bad things often seemed to happen wherever she was around, if only to remind her father that he did have a daughter. Over the next few years, she grew disheartened. Her father only acknowledged her presence whenever he had to scold her (and these were pretty loud scoldings) and when he needed her and her sister to buy him his drinks. Her troublemaking grew worse and she continuously started to cut class along with a bunch of her deviant friends, eventually forming a youth gang with them when she was sixteen, one of many in Lacunosa, despite its rules.

The years she was involved with her gang were the happiest ones she had, despite all the trouble they got into. They often skipped school, hung out together and traipsed around Lacunosa at night, past curfew, where they vandalized buildings, picked locks, snuck into houses and steal, among other things. Theresa learned to do many things from her friends, foremost among them were shooting with a gun and a hacking technique called the "Black Hole" (care of the group's resident techie). These actions however, landed her in Lacunosa's Juvie several times, where she and her friends were not treated well, not that it stopped them. In a place like Lacunosa where the rules were the strictest, it was pretty understood among the youth that breaking such rules was fun.

Despite some difficulties, Theresa managed to graduate from Trainer's School two months after she turned eighteen. Her license however, as well as her friends', were only going to come after six months. She grew impatient after three months, then thought of an idea which she proposed to her friends. What if they caught their own Pokemon? Wild Pokemon were fair game, weren't they? She had heard stories among the adults from before the"tightening" about how there were a lot of different Pokemon to the northeast, where people were forbidden and suggested that they catch their own Pokemon. Everyone agreed, their leader even stating that he wanted a Metagross as a starter Pokemon, from the rumors he heard. Two nights after, in mid-April, the gang met up, Theresa having stolen her father's Aggron for the purpose. Using their leader's truck, they left the town and headed northeast...towards the Giant Chasm. They then ambushed the patroller and started exploring. Theresa, using her father's Pokemon, managed to catch her first Pokemon in the caves, a female Sneasel which she nicknamed "Lilith", despite the Aggron refusing to listen to her most of the time. However, they ventured further in, their leader insisting that he wanted a Metagross as a starter. While things were alright at first, they accidentally stumbled upon a small lake in the middle of the chasm while searching for a Metagross. Before they could escape, the area flash-froze, and...of course you probably know what happened next.

In short, no, they didn't find Kyurem or anything. But rather, they were stuck and got caught. Since all of them were at least eighteen, they were imprisoned in Lacunosa's jail. Theresa received two charges: one for breaking into a restricted area and one for "stealing her father's Pokemon". For six months, Theresa remained imprisoned, her hatred growing as the guards continued to treat her and her friends badly. She grew to hate them, and hate Lacunosa, vowing that she would never return. Once she was released and received her Trainer's license, she left with Lilith in tow. For years, she travelled around Unova and continued to catch and train more Pokemon, becoming a powerful trainer in her own right. She managed to enter the League, but finding out that the preliminaries were to be held in Lacunosa, she quickly withdrew and instead, started to make plans to go to Sinnoh.

However, these plans were cut short when chaos erupted around the region. There were talks of an extremely dangerous gas that had the power to change humans. Naturally, Theresa had to leave, but not before she was approached by the government and offered an obscene amount of money to work with them. They knew that she was to compete at the preliminaries and they knew of her past record. Nevertheless, they wanted her and Theresa agreed.

EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS: Two HK45 pistols. Theresa prefers their lighter weight and ease in carrying around, not needing a bigger bag to store them. She also carries a set of small throwing-knives she uses as back-up. These knives are laced with poison at its sharp edges and should be handled with care. As she is a hacker, she never fails to carry around her trusty, compact, crimson-colored disc which carries her trademark "Black Hole" virus.

SKILLZ: Theresa has a deadly aim with her pistol, as well as her knives, allowing her to shoot her victims effectively. Being a former criminal, she is also pretty good at sneaking around and doing things under the cover of night without getting noticed...not that much at least.

HITS: Darkness and the macabre, black, wolves, the night, hacking, beer

MISSES: Pink, restrictive rules, Lacunosa Town, the police, cutesy Grass-types, extremely hot weather, criticism

THEME SONG: Nirvana - "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (Of course...she was a teenage delinquent/criminal!)

OTHER: Theresa is pretty stubborn when it comes to Pokemon, and definitely does not share the same idea as most people regarding a "balanced team"!

POKEMON

NAME: Lilith
SPECIES: Weavile
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Lilith is impulsive, quick to act and rather proud of her speed. She's quite aggressive, enjoying the thrill of battle. However, she is also reliable and trustworthy, especially in the field of scouting and tracking. She is rather small, being only about 3 feet, 3 inches tall, which makes quite her fragile but also much faster than most Weavile. She is Theresa's first Pokemon, having been caught at the caves surrounding the Giant Chasm, just before she was arrested and remained on her team throughout her journey. Despite her arrogance and impulsiveness, she remains very close to Theresa.

NAME: Nyx
SPECIES: Zoroark
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Despite being a Zoroark, Nyx is one of the gentlest among Theresa's Pokemon, being caring and motherly. Nyx always looks out for her trainer, having the tendency to be overprotective at times. She is rather vain too, and not one who enjoys physical combat and brawling, preferring to use Special attacks from a distance out of fear of bruising herself or ruining her long, red mane, which she always keeps silky and tidy, just like the fur on the rest of her body. Theresa caught her as a rather mischievous Zorua towards the middle of her journey, in a certain forest, and she evolved rather quickly, her personality changing from being a playful child to that of a "lady".

NAME: Asena
SPECIES: Houndoom
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Asena, who was caught in a swarm as a Houndour and trained until she evolved into a Houndoom, is a tomboy who doesn't mind getting her hands dirty, almost like Theresa and unlike Nyx. She doesn't mind battling and does so with a combination of Special moves and Physical moves. She is extremely sadistic, enjoying it when her opponents suffer, whether it be from her attacks or from burns, which is why her signature move is Inferno. The sight of certain burning delights her just that much.

NAME: Azrael
SPECIES: Bisharp
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Azrael has always been the team's loner every since Theresa caught him as a Pawniard close to Opelucid City. Difficult to get along with, he usually doesn't involve himself in other Pokemon's or trainers' businesses. He comes off as standoffish and cold towards most. Unlike most Male Pokemon, he does not enjoy the company of females, human or Pokemon, save for Theresa, and prefers to keep his distance. He is a patient and even-tempered Pokemon, but once he loses it, which is actually very hard to do, it becomes difficult to calm him down. Although at first glance, he doesn't seem to care about anything because of his lone-wolf persona, the truth is however, he does cares for his trainer, deeply.

NAME: Abaddon
SPECIES: Tyranitar
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Abaddon is physically the most powerful of Theresa's team. He is the patient sort, being the only one who can deal with the problematic and desperate Selene, as he does have a crush on her. Compared to most Tyranitar, he is quite a bit taller, standing at almost seven feet tall. Theresa caught him as a Pupitar sometime before she reached Undella Town and is currently her most recent capture. Don't underestimate him though as he packs a huge punch.

NAME: Selene
SPECIES: Umbreon
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Selene is Theresa's "tank", being her best Pokemon defensively. She is adept at defensive and support moves, as well as inflicting status effects. She is seductive, and uses her wiles to charm her opponents before debilitating them. She has a big crush on Azrael, something which is humorously one-sided much to her annoyance. The rings on her body are not bright yellow, but a slightly more muted tone and glow more dimly than the average Umbreon. Theresa caught her as an Eevee in Castelia City after exploring the sewers, becoming an Umbreon after evolving at night.

Alright, done and ready to have fun~

And ack, is it sad that the part that took me the most time to fill was actually the Theme Song section? It seemed like all the songs that actually fit him were in Finnish, and I really wanted an English song >> In the end I just... grabbed the first song that even marginally reminded me of him, heh.

--

NAME: Kristofer "Kris" Riveraid

GENDER: Male

AGE: 32

APPEARANCE: Kris stands slightly above average height at exactly six feet. He’s pretty muscular but still lean, always making sure he doesn’t end up too buff; he needs some strength for his job but too much is just too much.

To any average person Kris might seem like a slacker, a lazy person who probably can’t hold a job for more than a day. People can’t really be blamed for that assumption either; his perpetually half-closed eyes, calm smile and the unshaved stubble decorating his chin do indeed give off “jobless” vibes. If you can at all read people however, you’ll notice there’s more to him than just that though; his eyes, though lazy, still always carry a sharp look in them, and there are suspicious scars scattered across his body he tries to hide. Either way, Kris always has a smile on his face, and he has the tendency to smile with his eyes closed (or squinted so much they look like they’re closed – nobody’s ever bothered to find out), which kind of makes him seem like he’d always be up to something even when he’s not.

His sand-brown hair is short and messy, though not by a choice; he’d very much like to have neat, combed back hair, but the trouble he’d have to go through in order to achieve that just doesn’t sound like it’d be worth it, really. His eyes are brown as well, though they’re a lot darker color, often seeming almost black.

He wears the uniform he was assigned, though begrudgingly; he doesn’t find it all that fashionable to tell you the truth. It consists of long sleeved shirt, a military vest, cargo pants and knee-high boots. He was handed a cap as well, but he refused it right away. Instead he wears his fedora, not really caring if it clashes with the rest of his outfit. He also has a long trenchcoat with him, but he doesn’t really wear that anymore. He carries his knife and Pokéballs on his vest and his two handguns on his belt for faster drawing speed, while his rifle and violin (which he insisted on bringing) are packed away in a suitcase he carries with him on his hand.

PERSONALITY: You could never tell from Kris’ behavior that he’s actually a professional assassin. He’s very laid-back and doesn’t like to stress over anything, always believing things will work out in the end and in the off-chance they don’t, well, he had fun, nothing was lost. He also has this strange… fascination with death. As in, he’d get himself in deathly situations on purpose just to see if he could make it out alive sometimes. He does fear death, though, he just loves the rush. Otherwise he’s a guy who doesn’t really take anything too seriously, but unlike many believe, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be doing his best during his missions. After all, there’s money in it for him, and if there’s one thing this guy loves, it’s a fat wallet. He’s greedy and has very little limits as to what he’s willing to do for money. As such, he isn’t very loyal, but it’s nothing personal.

Regardless of whether he’s talking to a stranger or confronting his next mark, Kris is always polite, and tries to be chivalrous when possible. Just because he’s about to kill someone doesn’t mean he has to be mean about it, right? No harm done in asking them how they’d like to die, or if they would like to enjoy a cup of tea before the act. His mark isn’t going anywhere once he’s caught up with them anyway, might as well be nice. Some find this behavior utterly creepy, while some mistake it for pity and retort to asking him to spare them. Both cases confuse Kris immensely.

He loves to talk and meet new people, and it’s next to impossible to get him mad. He’s extremely honest, and has no trouble, for example, telling his mark he’s about to kill them, or tell a random stranger he kills people if asked what his profession is. He doesn’t feel ashamed by anything he does, nor does he really fear getting arrested (he has enough confidence to believe he could get away if it came down to it), so he sees no harm in being honest. He never leaks any information about the people who hired him though, as he doesn’t like the hassle that often causes. Since, well, while he does love some chaos from time to time (what better source of income than that?), he doesn’t like being yelled at or having to deal with bothersome people.

Kris loves music and if you do too, he’s bound to like you. He likes unique, interesting people, but he can also appreciate the quieter, sensible ones. He’s a people-person, really, and just enjoys company. He isn’t empathetic, though, which is the very reason he can kill people so easily even if he does like them. He has nothing against the Chimeras plaguing Unova, but neither does he feel anything for the poor citizens who were forced to leave their home. He only went in to help because, well, money. And for an adventure-lover like him, what better way to spend a boring day than go hiking in an area infested with deadly monsters?

HISTORY: Kris was born in Olivine city, Johto. From a very young age he was taught to always be polite and not cause trouble for others no matter what, and young Kris did his best to do just that. He played nice and was always polite, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t have gotten himself in trouble. He was always curious and wanted adventure, and that often led him in dangerous situations. The worst of them was when he was six and he almost ended up drowning in the sea after following a wild Pokémon into the water. He was on the brink of death, and that earned him a lifelong phobia of water, but at the same time… it made him a thrill-seeker, of sorts. That feeling when he was rescued after being sure death was coming for him… it was exhilarating, and he sort of wanted to experience it again.

Kris continued to get into trouble after that for the simple reason he had nothing better to do, and so eventually his parents decided it might be better to give him Pokémon to run around with. Not only would it give him something to do, the Pokémon could hopefully protect him from any serious injury. So, he was given a Starly and a Rufflet to play with, both Pokémon brought into the country by his mother, who was a Pokémon researched specializing in bird Pokémon. Kris was excited, and immediately wanted to follow his father, a hunter, into the woods to hunt food with his two birds. He practiced many different tactics to down the prey with the two, and at the same time, the Pokémon duo gained battle experience. Kris got into music at a very young age when he and his family were on their weekly visit to Goldenrod and he happened upon a group of street performers. As such, Kris named his two birds Scherzo and Cadenza, and started to study music.

Then one day when Kris was around twelve years old, his life took a sudden, completely new turn. It was Friday, and that meant he and his family were once again at Goldenrod to shop. But, bored with browsing goods like always, Kris and his birds quickly ran off to explore the parts of the city he hadn’t yet been to. On his trip, he came across a gang which, upon seeing his two birds, wanted a Pokémon battle. They battled, and impressed by the power of the two birds (not so much Kris himself), the gang asked if he would like to join them. They promised him fun and money, both things Kris had a liking to, so he agreed. Turned out the fun they had been talking about wasn’t quite legal; drug smuggling, smalltime thievery and the like and at first, Kris was sort of uncomfortable with it all, wanting to call of the agreement. He had always been a very nice kid, never wanting to cause trouble for anyone, after all. But, as time passed, Kris soon realized leaving wasn’t exactly an option. These older teens were serious with what they did, and they did not take well to traitors. So Kris stayed, and like said, it was very difficult for him at first. But eventually he sort of… grew indifferent towards it all, even when they grew and their crimes grew more violent in nature. He didn’t hate the victims, and he always remained polite and smiling, but he found himself not concerned by the bad things he did anymore. It might’ve been part survival instinct, but part of it was… well, sheer greed.

See, Kris was paid well, and so not only could he buy nice things for his parents who had always taken care of him despite their lack of wealth, he could buy fun things for himself, things such as a violin. He also loved the rush when he almost got shot a few times during their little missions. He got so used to living rich and on the edge that he just couldn’t have stopped even if he had wanted to. Well, at least, not until he simply… grew bored one day. Bored with the same faces, bored of Johto, bored of just owning three Pokémon (his birds and a Pupitar he had stolen as an egg) and bored of not being able to feel the rush with smalltime crimes like these anymore. So, one day when he was close to twenty, Kris decided to just up and leave, not afraid of the gang anymore. He walked up to them and simply informed them he was leaving, shooting anyone who had trouble with that in the leg before tipping his hat and bidding them good rest of the afternoon.

So, like that, he became some sort of a wandering Pokémon trainer, challenging gyms and all that common jazz for a while. He quickly found out, though, that just training monsters to fight for him didn’t offer him the rush he wanted, not to mention he was in need of money, like, seriously. So, it didn’t take long for Kris to go back to his old ways. This time, though, he didn’t want to be involved in any small crimes he couldn’t get neither decent money nor a rush out of. No, he wanted something more challenging, something more… classy. Something like killing people, perhaps? He gained fame as a mercenary, a killer for hire of sorts, and found himself being able to live a good life with the money he got. He did other jobs on the side as well, but killing was what he specialized in.

Then, one day all hell broke loose in Unova, and not long after, Kris was contacted with a job unlike anything he had taken on before. And the one hiring him didn’t need to say anything more than fifty million dollars when Kris had already packed up his bags, readying to leave at once.

Well… after finishing his tea first, of course.

EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS: Two handguns, his sniper rifle (and extra clips/bullets for the aforementioned two, of course), a knife and a violin. Oh, and a small tea set, the first thing he packed up when he got the call.

SKILLZ: Kris is remarkably good with guns, and he has a very good aim, as hard as it might be to believe. He’s also very good at hiding and moving around quietly, that is, unless he gets a sudden urge to engage in a conversation with the enemy (which happens quite often). He’s an exceptional sniper, and one of his favorite toys (apart from his violin and two handguns) is his custom sniper rifle. His best weapon though? The tea he makes. No, it’s not poisonous, it’s just that good. Kris is also good with the violin, but don’t tell him that; he’s already infamous for giving encores even when not asked to as is.

HITS: Music, tea, socializing (you’ve been warned)

MISSES: Spicy food, water and noise though really, he doesn’t “hate” anything per se. Except guitarists, maybe, damn them for always stealing his spotlight.

THEME SONG: God I suck at this, but I guess...Déjà Vu by 3OH!3 would work.

OTHER: He has aquaphobia, that is, the fear of water. Splashing water on him won’t do much more than make him flinch and groan about a ruined haircut, but put him anywhere near a lake and he’ll climb up a tree faster than you can say “what the hell, dude?”

Pokémon

NAME: Scherzo
SPECIES: Braviary
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Scherzo is the first half of Kris’ main attacking duo he obtained when he was just a kid. He’s the calmer one of the two, and rarely acts on his own. He’s very loyal towards his trainer and his attacking partner Cadenza, and obeys both of the two without a question. If he’s given an order, he does everything in his power to carry it out, and if instructed to fight, he will not stop until told to do so. He’s often the bird Kris uses for transport, and though it might not show, he’s very proud of that. He’s afraid of Cadenza, but respects her greatly.

NAME: Cadenza
SPECIES: Staraptor
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: The other half of Kris’s main attacking party that’s been with him ever since he was young. Cadenza is a serious bird with no tolerance for stupidity or ignorance, and she has a love for violence and bloodshed. While not really vile, she loves fighting and feels accomplished whenever she downs an enemy. She acts as a sort of second in command for Kris’ team, and is very competitive over that position. She’s the one to remind Kris about his job whenever he gets too lost in tea drinking with the victim or something similar, and more often than not Kris heeds her advice. Cadenza is ruthless in battles, not holding back no matter how weak the enemy. She really hates Chimeras and Pokémorphs alike, thinking of them as freaks of the nature to be destroyed.

NAME: Chorale
SPECIES: Lapras
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Chorale was a Pokémon Kris caught when he realized he needed a water Pokémon to carry him over the oh-so-scary waters plaguing the world. Naturally he could have used either of his birds to fly him over any huge bodies of water that got in his way, but he felt like it’d be a good idea to pack a water type in case he should ever fall into water on accident or something. Chorale is a very mild, kind Pokémon who’s always looking out for the rest of the team and extremely difficult to anger. She’s some sort of a mother figure for everyone whether they liked it or not, and is always ready to save her teammates from danger, even if it means having to get ruthless or hurt. She loves music and loves to sing along when Kris is playing his violin.

NAME: Adagio
SPECIES: Tyranitar
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Adagio is Kris’s powerhouse and quite easily angered. He’s destructive but not all that intelligent, preferring to smash first and ask questions later if ever. Sometimes he picks fights with his teammates as well, but either Kris or Cadenza always get him to calm down in the end. He enjoys showing off his powers, and will never back away from a challenge. Kris obtained him as an egg he stole from one of his marks, and he’s been with him ever since.

NAME: Sonatina
SPECIES: Gengar
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Mischievous and always ready to mess with the minds of people and Pokémon alike, Sonatina isn’t one you’d like to run into in a dark alley. She loves her fun and is always pulling pranks, often a bit malicious in nature. She loves to shock people and Pokémon alike, and so she has to spend most of her time inside her Pokéball to keep her from causing too much trouble where it isn’t warranted. She’s a good battler even if she’s a bit reckless and unable to work in a team; it has to be all about her. Kris was deliberately looking for a Gastly in order to keep his victims from escaping through one’s Mean Look attack, and surely enough he found one after much searching. And, after some convincing that she could have fun following Kris, she joined his ranks.

NAME: Forte
SPECIES: Shinx
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: The newest addition to Kris’s party, Forte used to belong to one of the marks Kris a couple years back. Upon losing its master, the naïve little thing started to follow Kris around, apparently unaware of what had happened. Thinking the cub cute and figuring there could be no harm owning an electric type, Kris took the small Pokémon in. Forte is still young and he hasn't been trained for long, so whenever the opportunity arises, Kris sends him out to gather experience and get stronger. Forte is a very curious cub, always poking his nose everywhere it doesn't belong and not caring about the consequences. He prefers to be outside of his ball whenever possible, as he hates stuffed places and loves fresh air. He’s naïve and friendly to anyone, but his playful yet reckless nature often leaves people with multiple burns from his misdirected electric attacks. Kris has been complained to about the cub various times, but his reaction is always the same; an amused smile and a casual “it’ll grow outta it”, accompanied with a shrug.

Nah, he Theme Song didn't give me trouble, no worries. Took time, yeah, but it was still fun. And heh, the last name thing was... kind of sort of deliberate. Might sign up with another character later on, every group needs a crazy nurse after all.

Shadow of nothing

NAME: Ian Blackwood
GENDER: Male
AGE: 29

APPEARANCE: Ian is slightly tall for a man, standing 6’3” and weight about 175 pounds, with brown hair. His skin is remarkably pale, doing an excellent job of hiding his only visible scar, which runs from his left eye to the back of his neck. His eyes are mismatched, with his left eye being a shape of emerald green, and his right eye being grayish.

Ian wears combat armor underneath his clothing, which is comprised of a grey long-sleeve shirt and black jeans, a black jacket that fits him loosely, and combat boots. He usually wears the hood of his jacket over his head so as to hide his features. On his back, Ian wears a thin backpack, and has a specially fashioned restraining clip attached to each of his thighs, allowing him to carry multiple weapons at once. Given that Ian has worn this ensemble in the military for years, no one really offered to change it at all.

PERSONALITY: Ian is described by his comrades as follows: “Ian is hard as stone, and cold as ice.” For the most part that sentence sums up the first glance impression your average Joe would have of Ian. Ninety-nine percent of the time, Ian is stoic, showing absolutely no emotions, which he deems to be weakness. Someone once joked that if someone shot his mother right in front of him, Ian wouldn’t do anything besides simply watch. Ironically, the last thing he saw was Ian’s angry expression.

Ian refuses to speak to anyone about his past, and when this topic is brought up, it often is the last thing someone speaks off. Despite all of that, however, Ian’s morals are still….somewhat rooted in what most people define as good. He can still feel the emotions know as compassion, caring, and even love, although one has to perform the nigh impossible task of earning Ian’s trust before they learn this little tidbit.

When he is training his Pokémon, Ian loses much of his coldness, openly smiling and laughing, things which he never does when around other people.

HISTORY: Ian was born in Snowpoint City (Somewhat fitting, considering how he acts), Sinnoh. Almost immediately he showed signs of being highly intelligent, along with learning rapidly.

From the moment Ian entered school he was much of a social outcast. His family was fairly rich, or richer than most of the rest of his classmates, and because of that Ian didn’t interact with the other kids much. When others kids were talking Ian could often be found reading and studying ahead, which when combined with his formidable memory, lead to him be allowed to skip numerous grades. However if was determined that Ian was not a child genius, simply an antisocial boy who studied very hard. However despite his studies, Ian always managed to keep himself in perfect physical condition.

At the age of nine, or when Ian was in eleventh grade, a man snuck into his home and killed his father, before kidnapping his mother while Ian was at school. This didn’t have much of an effect on his life since he studied so much however, the attention it brought on him at school did help to break his antisocial shell, if only slightly. Later that same year, a military recruiter was at the school. Ian, who was skipping a class because he finished the involved material, met the recruiter and had a long talk with him. A week later he applied to join the Special Forces and was accepted. He entered basic training after the New Year started.

It didn’t take long for Ian to find his place in the military. After showing remarkable skill as a marksman, Ian was entered into a special preliminary training program, designed to create fully self sufficient snipers, who could be inserted into hostile territory, reach a position, kill a target, and then escape, while able to attack pursuers, and otherwise function without help from other units. Ian thrived in this enviroment, although the program was scrapped and he was placed back with a regular squad.

After several years, and promotions so that Ian was in full command of the squad, Ian’s troops were assigned to assist to dealing with some criminal group that sprang up. This group was using several abandoned buildings in the Orre deserts to hide, and Ian’s team was ordered to deal with these. At first the mission went well, they swept in and out with out problems. However during the assault something happened and every member of Ian’s squad was killed, expect for him. The only thing he had to show for the ordeal was some psychological scars and the scar on his left eye. He never elaborated on what happened only, that everyone died. When pressed he had very eloquent responses on the matter. In the end he cut a deal with his superiors, and was allowed to leave, with honors.

With that done, Ian took to living in the mountains of Hoenn, until a few months back when he decided to take a vacation to Unova. When the entire incident with Neo Genesis blew up, the Unovan government approached Ian, who was booking a flight back to Hoenn, to help deal with the problem. Ian agreed, knowing that 50 million dollars would allow him to live comfortably, and undisturbed until he finally croaked.

EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS: On the restraining clip on his left thigh, Ian carries an MP5 with a telescoping stock, on his right thigh, a customized M4 Carbine. Situated above the stock of his MP5, Ian also has a Desert Eagle Handgun. The final firearm Ian carries is one that sees little use, despite his skill with it. The sides of his backpack have several pouches which hold a disassembled Barret M82A1 Sniper Rifle. Extra ammunition for all of these weapons is stored in his backpack, although he keeps a spare clip for each gun in the inner pockets of his jacket.

Ian also has assorted combat knives, which are sheathed in his belt, boots, or stored in his backpack. In the backpack, he also has some C4 and blasting caps, two pair of night vision goggles, a variety of scopes, cleaning supplies for his guns, maybe a grenade, and an E-reader.

SKILLZ: Because he enjoys reading so much, Ian can read massive amounts of stuff in an incredibly short time. As a useful companion to that, Ian can also remember anything he reads. Ian is an incredible shot with whatever weapon you give him. Despite the amount of gear he carries, Ian can move silently and blend in to the shadows easily.

HITS: Silence, darkness, sleep, books,
MISSES: Noise, people, politics, News Media….and Kittens
THEME SONG: Survior's Guilt-Rise Against
OTHER: Nothing I can think of.

NAME: Sol
SPECIES: Absol
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Ian captured Sol not long into his time in Hoenn, after saving him from a swarm of Magikarp along a single Feebass. How he was defeated by such a paltry swarm of Pokémon is not known. Sol is the closest thing to a carbon copy of Ian a Pokémon can be; cold, seemingly unfeeling, and dangerous. He is fiercely protective of the rest of Ian’s Pokémon, and Ian himself, despite the fact that all of them are easily skilled enough to fend for themselves.

NAME: Sauron
SPECIES: Salamence
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Ian captured Sauron during his stint in the military as a Bagon. It took most of his military career to train the bloodthirsty dragon, and even now, Sauron will occasionally ignore Ian’s orders and rampage. Not matter what, the others, except for Abigale, give Sauron a wide berth, since he is prone to fly into homicidal rages, causing incredible destruction.

NAME: Abigale
SPECIES: Volcarona
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Ian did not capture Abigale. Instead he obtained her in a trade with one of his squad back in the military. He gave the man a Steelix and received Abigale in return. Despite Sauron being the most insane of the group, Abigale is by far the strongest member of Ian’s team. She is calm, collected, and generally doesn’t enjoy combat. However, if battle is required, she is more than willing to destroy her opponents.

NAME: Glacialis
SPECIES: Glaceon
GENDER: Female,
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Glacialis was Ian’s first Pokémon, and the only memento of his parents Ian has. She has been Ian’s only truly dependable companion since he was nine, never leaving his side, and always providing him the comfort he needs. Unlike most of Ian’s other Pokémon, Glacialis is not cold, instead, she is caring and open. Whenever the other Pokémon are hurt or Ian hurts himself, Glacialis is the first one to try and help them, in fact she is by fart the most willing to help of all of Ian’s Pokémon.

NAME: “Trout” (Formally Vesica)
SPECIES: Gallade
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: The story behind Vesica is quite interesting. Ian captured him in Sinnoh as a Kirlia, and promptly evolved him into a Gallade. Almost a year later, while on a mission, Ian was walking beside Vesica when a young child, maybe two years old pointed to the Gallade and cried ”Trout!” Neither of the duo knew why the child did this, but the name amused Ian so much that he started to generally refer to Vesica as such. Vesica/Trout is very cynical and seems perpetually depressed because of this, but is still a loyal and powerful battler. He typically serves as a sort of translator for Ian, psychically relying their words to him.

NAME: Motor
SPECIES: Rotom
GENDER: Genderless (Will be referred to as male for sake of my sanity)
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: There really isn’t much to be said about Motor. Ian captured him only a few weeks before his vacation to Unova. Motor has the personality of a cardboard box, in other words none. Everything Motor does is reflective of his namesake, purely mechanical, and utterly devoid of emotions.

(On a side note, I did not notice that Rotom is Motor spelled backwards until just now.)

Nah, he Theme Song didn't give me trouble, no worries. Took time, yeah, but it was still fun. And heh, the last name thing was... kind of sort of deliberate. Might sign up with another character later on, every group needs a crazy nurse after all.

Crazy characters are always welcome. Looking forward to seeing it.

I think that is everything.

Yep, looks good. Also, I've never heard anything by Rise Against, but after throwing your character's theme into YouTube, I'd have to say this is a pretty kickass song.

And it's approved, though I caught a rather... amusing typo under Glacialis's Personality and History (Proof that I do read these things!). I won't say anything, but I did find it pretty funny. XD

That typo started as an accident, but I decided to just leave it alone for some reason. Glad to know it amused someone.

*Jean Grey*

GH, did you say "nurse"? Maybe she should be a violent, irritable nurse. XD We had an overly sweet, ambiguously lesbian nurse back in the Chimera series. XD Time for a violent Combat Medic type of nurse. :>

Avenger Angel

Warrior of Heaven
NAME: Janine Price
GENDER: Female
AGE: 24

APPEARANCE: Janine stands 5'8" and has long, brown hair that flows down her back and slightly curls towards the ends. Meanwhile, she has green irises and usually a casual and cheerful expression on her face. Meanwhile, she has a slim, healthy build, and also happens to be a vegetarian. She also undergoes a lot of cardio training by running and swimming. Meanwhile, she also doesn't mind getting dirty, as gardening is one of her pastimes. Only when she's wearing her best and prettiest clothing does she try to avoid it, and since she's not for this mission, she could care less.

Typically, Janine wears large, brightly-colored dresses and skirts, but now wears a dark, digital night-camouflage tank top with black leather pants and black army boots. She also wears a black patrol hat as well, just trying to blend in with the others. She isn't too crazy about the dark colors, even though it does make her more attractive and look significantly tougher. She does, however, spoil it a bit by wearing a few pins and even a tiny plush Buneary key chain hanging from her belt that also has all her equipment and her Pokéballs.

PERSONALITY: Reckless, naive, and to some she's probably clinically insane, Janine Price is quite unpredictable in terms of behavior. Meanwhile, things she considers fun and interesting are things others would consider ridiculous and psychotic. Very rarely does she think about the consequences of her rather reckless actions, but if something does go wrong, to her it's usually no biggie, as long as a lot of blood and guts aren't involved. As a result, she does stuff that gets her into trouble, thinks the consequences are always reversible or can just be easily put up with, and generally is fun-loving and welcomes the opportunity to do something wild, fun, and crazy.

Janine adores cute, pretty, and adorable things, and has a Pokémon team to match that kind of aspiration. She's one of those kinds of trainers that would rather try to win with her favorites than try to win with tough, powerful Pokémon. In addition, she loves sweet and sugary things like candy and ice cream, and her favorite colors are pink and white. Sure, the Team Elite mission has put her in a spot that's probably far away from those things, but she's out to have a good time with it anyway, hoping she'll have fun pounding the bad guys. She isn't too crazy about the gas mask either, and feels it makes her face look like some kind of insect with the eye visor and the capped breathing apparatus. Plus, with her limited knowledge of poisonous gasses and biological mutagens, she can't help but feel the gas masks Team Elite were given probably aren't up to job when it comes to resisting the mutagen...

She's also knowledgeable in terms of science and computers, although she goes out of her way to avoid appearing to look like a geek or a nerd. She knows her biology and chemistry, but likes to use "real people" terms instead of the usual jargon and avoids acronyms whenever possible. Meanwhile, she's also an expert computer hacker and programmer, usually into dismantling serious-looking government and corporate websites, and then upload something much more cheerful-looking with flowers, cute Pokémon, and rainbows. She also knows how to break into databases, but only does it when she's bored, and doesn't usually do it to be malicious or destructive, usually just to satisfy her ceaseless curiosity.

HISTORY: Janine was born in Driftveil City, Unova, to her father Douglas Price and her mother Karen Price. Even as a baby, Janine liked to get around, started walking at an early age, and explore unknown places in her wanderlust. As she got older, she liked to spend time outside and had a fondness for flowers and cute Pokémon.

She hated school though, very easily bored except when she was outside during recess or during gym classes. She liked science a bit, since that also involved outside stuff at times, but she really couldn't stand reading, history, and really hated math. She'd do the work okay, but couldn't wait until it was over. She liked science because she liked to screw around with stuff during labs and learn all the fascinating things living creatures do. Meanwhile, she liked computer classes, but for the wrong reasons. She wasn't so keen about learning "other people's" software as opposed to making her own programs and making the computer essentially be her slave and force them do what she wanted, which sometimes included stupid, funny, or adorable things. Early on, she got into the inner groundwork of computers, trying not to be an extreme geek about it, but easily understood that computers were incredibly fast but also incredibly stupid machines, and were only as "smart" as the ones who programmed them to be.

Going on a Pokémon journey was the best part of her life, but she got too carried away with it, taking too long to complete her journey from the endless amount of distractions she got into along the way. Two years into it and only three badges later, she had to head back to school to continue her education, and she was pretty bummed out about it. So, she majored in computer science with a minor in biology, although with a bit of regret as she was constantly in "nerd herds" with her fellow classmates. She did great in terms of grades, but after graduating, she was very badly screwed over with student loans, and had over $50K in debt. She also had trouble getting a job, as her resume looked good and companies brought her in for interviews, but it was the interview itself she screwed up, sometimes forgetting to dress formally, or just plain not taking it seriously and decided to have a fun chat with the hiring managers and human resources employees rather than talk about the positions itself.

When the RMG crisis broke out, Janine didn't really see it as a big deal, but she figured she didn't want to be around when other people were going crazy. She took a train to Castelia City and managed to get aboard the S.S. Suncoast cruise ship for evacuation while her parents took the next flight out of the region. However, the Unova government came to her with the Team Elite offer, as they had been tracking her ever since she started goofing around with hacking into government websites to give them a cute and cheerful makeover, even though she kept the content intact, despite now being in cheerful shades of pastel pink, blue, and green with smiling, cute Pokémon to go with it. She even managed to get two hundred million people to think DyTech, a globalized major information technology firm, had adopted an adorable, computer-loving Furret as the new corporate mascot. When they took it down and changed the site back, so many customers voiced their disappointment that the firm essentially had to put it back, and they've been using it ever since in their marketing campaigns and even their television advertisements.

Her skills to break into sites and databases, as well as her strong programming ability, caught the government's interest, and she nearly screamed with excitement when they offered her the fifty million dollars for an adventure. She badly needed to pay off her debt in student loans, so she was all for it.

EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS: Janine isn't really a gun nut, and pretty much picked out a black Galil SAR rifle pretty much at random while she was taken to the armory to suit up for the mission. She also picked out an Uzi as a sidearm since it was one of the only guns she actually knew the name to. Meanwhile, she has her radio, Pokéballs, and a compact laptop computer she keeps in her black backpack.
SKILLZ: Mainly computer hacking, although she knows how to manage hardware and software configurations. She also has strong knowledge of science and biology as well.
HITS: Cuteness, flowers, sweet and sugary things like candy and ice cream
MISSES: Death metal, politics, cold winter weather
THEME SONG: I Wanna Lose Control (Uh Oh) - Deathray
OTHER: She loves Nyan Cat.

POKÉMON

NAME: Jubilee
SPECIES: Lopunny
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Jubilee is feisty, spirited, and has the level of hyperactive intensity of a kid wired up on coffee and energy drinks. She likes a good fight, and absolutely loves to taunt, humiliate, and embarrass her enemies to the point of being completely absurd. She's also very highly competitive, and loves nothing more than winning and giving her competition the look of "told ya so!" Jubilee was also Janine's first Pokémon, given to her as a Buneary.

NAME: Cream
SPECIES: Cinccino
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Cream usually starts by trying to keep things orderly, but doesn't get very far with it and easily gets dragged into the wild antics of Janine and her other Pokémon, especially Jubilee. So, as a result, Cream often just gives up trying to be sane and gives into the crazy peer pressure. She doesn't like getting dirty either, but if it gets so bad that it doesn't matter, she just gives, laughs, and says to heck with it. Cream was originally captured by Janine on Route 5, Unova.

NAME: Thistle
SPECIES: Leafeon
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Acquired from a traded Eevee, Thistle is the only male Pokémon in Janine's group. He definitely feels his trainer is a bit of a nutcase, but he's still casual and doesn't really think much of it, usually doing what he's asked, even if he thinks she's crazy. Unlike the others, it takes a lot for him to be dragged into the insanity, and when things really go off the deep end, he usually just spectates or only helps from the sidelines, often rolling his eyes at the antics.

NAME: Luau
SPECIES: Bellossom
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Acquired from a trade through another trainer named Natalya, Luau is a generally peaceful, cheerful, and serene Pokémon that loves to dance and sing. Typically, she wasn't that into insanity and wild recklessness before ending up with Janine as her trainer, but with Jubilee and Janine going nuts together, she often gets caught up in the craziness.

NAME: Sunshine
SPECIES: Lilligant
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Originally caught as a Petilil in Pinwheel Forest, Sunshine is more refined and does enjoy Janine's free spirit, but really doesn't look avidly at the kinds of daredevil things Janine and Jubilee get into and often drag others along for the ride. She also likes the outside, and is more of the patient type. She also doesn't like getting dirty and dislikes foul-smelling places especially.

NAME: Pearl
SPECIES: Milotic
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Janine caught Pearl as a Feebas on Route 1, only acquired because Janine knew what had to be done to get her to be a Milotic. As for Pearl's personality, she's the real powerhouse of the team, full of pride and confidence. She also is very protective of her trainer, even if Janine isn't being serious. Only on very rare occasions does she get into the kind of "fun" Janine and Jubilee have, along with whatever other members of the team that have been dragged along for the creative chaos.

One dose of violent insanity, coming right up~ Went with a doctor in the end. I just love crazy characters, there are just so few places where they can actually be used. So, since crazy characters are actually welcomed this time around, 'course I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

NAME: Marisha Cynthia Valentine, but don’t you dare refer to her as anything but “Dr. Valentine”

GENDER: Female

AGE: 23

APPEARANCE: Packed with her young age and her slim, hourglass-shaped figure with legs to die for, she’d probably be the most popular doctor around if she wasn’t so batshit insane. Dr. Valentine stands at 5’7’’and weighs accordingly, though the size of her breasts adds quite a bit in her numbers. She doesn’t have any visible muscle as she much prefers delegating all the boring, menial labor to others while she’s fixing her makeup, but she can still fight on her own (you don’t need muscle to stab someone’s throat with a scalpel, now do you?), and her kicks do pack some punch.

She takes very good care of her appearance and loves to look beautiful, so you’ll often find her with some light makeup on (mostly lipstick and eyeliner), and it’s doubtful you’ll see her go past a day without fixing her hair and making sure her nail polish is just perfect. And, speaking of hair, hers is straight, strawberry blond, flowing just barely past her shoulders, and let me tell you right now, she’s obsessed with her hair. That means it’s a no-touch area, and anyone foolish enough not to heed the warning will be promptly given an amputation without anesthesia. Her eyes are bright blue in color, and they often carry a dangerous glint in them, the first sign there’s something wrong with this one.

Dr. Valentine loves to dress elegantly, and she loves fur coats and the like, but at the same time she loves to show off all the right places just a little bit. Nothing ridiculously revealing, but enough to spark curiosity; you wouldn’t believe how easily she has managed to score herself a few experiments that way. Her uniform consists of a simple, camouflage-patterned lab coat, which is made out of more durable material than the regular white coat doctors wear. The coat is skin tight and the buttons around her chest area are hard-pressed not to explode, but she likes it that way. The coat is very long, reaching almost to her ankles, but she has tied it so that from waist-down, the coat goes behind her and leaves her front exposed. Underneath the coat she wears nothing but a bra, very short camouflage shorts, and thigh high, black leather boots. Her Pokéballs and medical instruments are carried with her in either all of the millions of hidden pockets inside the jacket, her belt or her huge first-aid kit, which she often has a subordinate (or Pokémon) carry for her.

PERSONALITY: Dr. Valentine is everything you wouldn’t expect from a proper doctor; a violent, wannabe seductress with sadistic tendencies and a drug addiction, she’s someone you’d expect to find from the loony ward. She’s not exactly evil however, and despite her sadism she isn’t one to go snatch innocent creatures off the streets to bring to her lair and torture for her own pleasure. No, rather, when she snatches innocent creatures off the streets and brings them to her lair to torture them, she does it for research. You know, for the common good, for humanity and all that jazz. You can’t exactly find new cures for deceases unless you see what works and what doesn’t, right?

Dr. Valentine is prone to violent bursts whenever angered, and considering how easy it is to tick her off, that’s rather often. People trying to tell her what to do, not obeying her or respecting her status as a medical professional as well as people who insult her looks, touch her hair or, god forbid, mess up her makeup are at the top of her “Hate, smile, and kill later when they’re in need of treatment” –list which is decidedly not a good place to be in. She has little care for human rights, and even less for the rights of Pokémon, who she sees as an unlimited source of disposable guinea pigs for her research. She loves to experiment and is very passionate about her job, hence why she likes to make her own drugs. And, speaking of drugs, half the time she’s under the influence of a few of them, characterized by impulsiveness, hallucinations and even more violent outbursts. Miraculously, even when high she’s able to perform her surgeries well, with absolutely no visible trembling of her hands or anything of the like. Some say that’s the reason to that is that drugs can’t mess up anything in her head that wouldn’t have been messed up to begin with.

Like mentioned before, she has sadistic tendencies, so anyone unfortunate enough to become her patient better not expect to be in gentle hands. Able hands, yes, but not gentle; she does fix her patients remarkably well and isn’t one to kill them off for no reason, but accidents where she has accidentally administered too little anesthetic or forgotten to give them pain pills before an operation aren’t uncommon. Still, she’s an exceptional doctor who loves her job and would like to keep it, so unless you’ve angered her someway, she will take care of you in the end. You’re just going to feel a little bit of pressure first.

Outspoken, rash and headstrong, Dr. Valentine will not take shit from anyone and demands she be respected as the genius doctor she is. In general she says what she thinks and is very blunt, but she isn’t impossible to get along with if you can withstand the constant danger of getting cut up and experimented on, as well as her crazy antics and disregard of others’ feelings. She appreciates other outspoken people like her, as long as they don’t get in her face, because then there’s going to be some trouble. She thinks rather lowly of men, considering them stupid, drooling piles of dirty muscle, completely controlled by their libido. She finds them very useful pets and isn’t above seducing them when she needs their aid, but her real interests lie with women. She appreciates beauty, after all, and considers females more intelligent than their bulky counterparts, as well as more interesting to fool around with.

Sometimes Dr. Valentine tries to take on the role of a sweet doctor just wanting to help in order to convince her patients to come with her, but seeing how she's absolutely unable to hide the glint of insanity ever present in her eyes or censor some of the things she says, she often fails with that.

HISTORY: Born in Celadon City, Kanto, there was always something wrong with Marisha Valentine from the very start. She was born to two doctors who worked at a huge hospital in Celadon, and from an early age she had immense interest in her parents’ work. As a kid she spent her freetime wandering around the hospital, peeking into every room she could enter, reading medical books, listening to moaning and agonizing screams of the patients whenever possible, and sometimes even sneaking her way into the morgue to poke at dead bodies. It all fascinated her, and her parents didn’t really notice the dangerous direction her mind was heading in. They thought it was nice that she had something to do while they were busy, because with two huge cities so close to each other and the Cycling Road just past the city’s exit boy, were they busy often.

Dr. Valentine’s (or Marisha’s, as she was so boldly referred to as back then) toys when growing up were scalpels, needles, and pretty much anything sharp and deadly, while her hobbies were testing said deadly things on any living creature she could get a hold of and subdue. She was destructive and cruel, but at the same time, organized. She knew how to get rid of any and all evidence of the little experiments she held on her own. She was always very diligent in her learning, though as she grew older she realized she wasn't one of those people who could sit days to no end reading medical books. Rather, she preferred to learn through exercise and experiments, often crazy ones because hey, you can’t know what works and what doesn’t without trying, right?

She was pretty popular in school, after all, she had the looks and the money, which was enough to get the more superficial people to flock to her. That, and many of the people who didn’t like her ended up in a bizarre accident of some sort. Unfortunately for her, her teachers weren’t as gullible or afraid of her as the kids were, and so she was kicked out of trainer school. She didn’t mind though, all the more time for her to continue with her true passion in the medical field. She did make sure another unfortunate accident happened to the teacher who fired her, however.

Seeing her talent when it came to medicine, Marisha’s parents allowed her to help them out in small tasks around the hospital. While usually that would be absurd; a teenager with no certificate working in a huge hospital, she was given special permission because of her parents’ status and the simple fact that they were low on staff and any little help was immensely appreciated. Eventually her parents managed to even get her into medical school, as suspicious as the headmaster was to let her in due to the incident in her previous school. Her parents were influential and blind to their daughter’s crazy antics however, and so she got in. She was always at the very top of her class, even skipping courses and grades on occasion, but as her talent grew, so did her madness, and eventually it was just a matter of time before everyone found out just how messed up this woman was. She was promptly kicked out and denied the right to work as a doctor anywhere ever again.

Except that there were many regions, many remote hospitals that needed staff, not to mention the illegal, underground hospitals criminals wandered into when they couldn’t exactly waltz in a public one. And so Dr. Valentine’s work continued.

And then one day she heard about the whole disgusting mess in Unova, and was contacted for a rather juicy deal. She didn’t really give a damn about the money though; what she was more interested in was the opportunity to snatch few of those freaks plaguing the area and experiment the hell out of them.

EQUIPMENT AND WEAPONS: She isn’t really a fan of firearms as she considers death by them too boring, but she carries around a Beretta 3032 Tomcat just in case. Her main weapons are medical equipment (bone saws, drills, you name it) and she’s particularly fond of her scalpels, some of them specifically modified to be throwing weapons. She also likes poisons in all shapes and sizes from poison needles to concoctions and gases.

SKILLZ: She’s a medical expert and despite her being a total nutjob, she’s a genius in the that field. She has the know-how to make her own drugs (that very often double as poison), and perform surgeries, but she also has some combat experience because, you know. Sometimes patients fight back rather ferociously when you shove a two foot needle up their nether regions.

HITS: Pretty (and especially expensive) things and pampering herself, causing pain, drugs and research.

MISSES: Ugliness/non-pretty people, those who do not obey her, restrictions and being told what to do.

THEME SONG: Dr. Sin is In by Lordi. Just replace the pesky “his” with “her”.

OTHER: N/A

Pokémon

NAME: Nurse
SPECIES: Lucario
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Doctors need nurses to aid them, everybody knows that. Most doctors in the Pokémon world go with irritating, pink blobs of fat. Dr. Valentine does not. She likes her nurses to come with some mind-reading abilities and the capability to deliver a prompt kick to the face when the more conventional healing methods fail. So in the end Dr. Valentine went with a Lucario, because they have Heal Pulse to help people, but also Close Combat to smash people’s heads in. A well-balanced Pokémon in all regards, ideal for Dr. Valentine. Nurse himself isn’t too fond of his nickname, and would much rather be practicing his fighting moves than healing things, but since those two jobs often combine, he’s alright with it all. He was Dr. Valentine’s first Pokémon, one she caught when all nurses were handed a Happiny and hers mysteriously “vanished”.

NAME: Drug Pit
SPECIES: Vileplume
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Dr. Valentine wants only the best for her patients, and as such she’s taken the habit to… make the drugs she uses herself. Now, she can’t always carry a laboratory’s worth of equipment with her, so eventually she realized she needed a more... compact solution. Something like, snatch an Oddish, make it evolve and mix shit in the opening on the flower on its head, using the poisons it produces. The best part? Drug Pit releases some pretty good fumes whenever she does that. Nothing like mixing dangerous drugs while totally high. Gives a nice rush. Drug Pit herself is a pretty… should we say stupid Pokémon, not really able to do anything but stand around and smile if not specifically instructed to do so.

NAME: Defibrillator
SPECIES: Electivire
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Every self-respecting doctor needs a defibrillator. Some doctors just prefer having theirs move on two legs and come with the capability to zap-fry nasty patients with the power of 20,000 Volts every now and then. You know… just in case. The world of medicine is an unpredictable one, after all. Defibrillator is a rather mild Pokémon on its own, preferring to spend time alone and not really digging the whole “electrocute people to death if they don’t shut the fuck up” scheme going on with her trainer, but hey, no Pokémon has ever complained about their role to Dr. Valentine before. Well, except that one Arcanine. That one she commonly likes to wear around her neck.

NAME: Cremator
SPECIES: Darmanitan
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Dr. Valentine is an easy to anger person generally. Unfortunately for her, she doesn’t quite pack the punch she’d like to as far as physical power goes, nor does she have the power to incinerate people where they stand. Luckily, Cremator does. She’s the one Dr. Valentine comes to when people or objects just need to burn, and he was caught for that very purpose. Cremator himself is very happy about this, as he enjoys nothing quite like smashing things. He’s very loyal, and would be the first one to take a mortal blow for his trainer if it came down to it.

NAME: Morgue
SPECIES: Cofagrigus
GENDER: Male
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: So sometimes Dr. Valentine’s illegal, reckless surgeries and her questionable forms of first aid don’t work. Sometimes patients die, as shocking as that is to believe. And when patients do die its often best to… hide the evidence. So, just pop Morgue open, shove the body in, wait for a while and all done. Of course, the trouble is that sometimes Morgue has a bit of trouble distinguishing live humans from dead ones (you’d think ear-piercing screaming and frantic kicking would be a clear hint enough, but apparently not), so accidents have happened. Well, both accidents and “accidents”, actually, since sometimes some people are just better off mummified. Dr. Valentine caught him around the same time she caught Cremator, as both lived near the same desert.

NAME: Damn Coat
SPECIES: Cinccino
GENDER: Female
PERSONALITY AND HISTORY: Well, Dr. Valentine loves looking good, and she’s especially fond of furcoats… You can probably see where this is going. Unfortunately, poor DC (as her fellow Pokémon have taken to calling her) does not, even with the name she was given. She’s a very friendly yet naïve Pokémon, always wanting to help those around her. Sometimes her trainer’s rather cruel antics confuse her, but she always thinks there’s a reason for everything. Definitely even for that huge cleaver Dr. Valentine’s sharpening every time she looks at her, and her immense want to have her grow out more fur. DC was hunted down caught only a few years ago, so she’s the most recent addition to Dr. Valentine's team.
