    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

Not going to lie, when I first saw the analysis for Gourgeist small I was pretty confused. It has so much more utility than I honestly expected it to have, it's main selling point I would ignore unless you already have a sub up (main selling point brought up was being able to burn Kube)

Still on vacation. The internet is so slow here, i can't get on xat or watch youtube videos all I mostly do is lurk and post on these forums. I didn't bring my phone with me so i can't even text my friends. I've been sort of lonely to an extent, I would appreciate it if someone VMed me just to chat

@destroyer, awesome! I've recently been taking art a lot more seriously, since I really want to create banners, userbars, and whatever else on my own, so maybe I can learn a thing or two from you...we also do need some more artists around, so we'll definitely place you in the art section~

@venom, we aren't just limited to PS, it's just the majority of our members prefer it. I personally use WiFi, PS, PO, and Pokebattle~

Welcome!

As for simulator battling, this style of battling allows you to easily create teams without breeding/grinding since you can easily select the IVs/EVs/moves of the Pokemon you want. You can find more info here.
Wifi battling is still good though :) (I personally can't wifi battle since my DS broke :()

~LA RULES~​

1. You may only catch the FIRST Pokemon you encounter in each area. If you fail, no catch for that area. Separate floors of one area, such as Mt. Coronet, are not counted as different areas.

1a. Dupes Clause is in effect. If you run into a Pokemon from the same evolutionary line as one you already own, you have the option to run and find a new encounter.

1b. Gift Clause is in effect. This means gifts such as Eevee, the Riolu egg, and the Togepi egg are fair game and may be used.

1c. Shiny Clause is in effect. If by some insane chance you run into a shiny, you may use it regardless of whether it's your first encounter or not.
1d. HM Slaves are allowed to be caught if none of your pokemon can learn an HM. They may not be used in battle, however.

2. If one of your pokemon faints, it is dead and must be permanently boxed immediately.

3. Nickname everything! Our naming scheme is: Choose names after serebii users~

1. When can we start (is it starting immediately)?
2. Do we post results after certain points here? If so, do you care how often?

@question 1: Yup, the nuzlocke officially started when I posted the rules, I guess I should have clarified better, sorry.

@question 2: It doesn't matter how often you post your results as long as you're letting us know of your progress throughout the game. I'm personally going to give results when I take on a gym with brief progress prior to hitting the gym.

No...no more nuzlocke...I just had a game over on Black. All my bros have died against Cheren after the last gym battle :(
Also i don't have platinum so...

You could add Potion clause that you can have only a X amount of potions and HM clause that if you do not have a pokemon that can learn a HM is not game over then but you may catch a pokemon just to use that HM
