Suggestions anyone?

I'm thinking of training an electric type...I always refrain from doing that with all the Physical Sweepers with Earthquake, but I guess I've beat around the bush too long now. Anyone have a good experience with an electric?

Well you could have an Elekible in D/P....

Manectric isn't bad, Jolteon is good, and Pikachu is worth playing if you wanna do the work of looking for a Light Ball and breeding into a good Hidden Power.

Electabuzz is a great electric Pokémon. Since it can learn the punches, its possibly the only that can get rid of ground opponents easily. Other Electric pokémons usually rely on Hidden Power, except for Pikachu, which can have Surf. Jolteon and Magneton are commonly used electric Pokèmons. Otherwise, like always, just teach another pokèmon an electric attack (e.g Stramie + Thunderbolt).

Hmm...well the POTW has Jolteon as a Special Sweeper but with Impish nature which lowers Sp. Attack. Shouldn't I have a nature that complements Speed or Sp. Attack?

Don't look in the Pokémon of the week movesets. Look here for the best in-game movesets, otherwise look at Smogon for best competitive movesets.

Jolteon should suit well. Manectric isn't bad either because of Crunch.

Yeah, if you don't want to use Zapdos or Raikou, Jolteon and Magneton are the only other ones worth using. Manectric is cool, but rather weak, especially when taking on powerful opponents. But if you're only using it in-game, you'll be fine.

But yeah, stick with Jolteon, Timid Nature.

don't use magneton. it's 4x weak to EQ (instant death). Use jolteon, manectric, or electabuzz.

Haven't had much luck with Electric, though Manetric and Riachu are pretty good.

For kickin it high speed style, go with Electrode. If you don't want to, go with Electabuzz, Manectric, or Jolteon. Mainly, the only reason I have Magneton anymore is for the dex.

I don't like how people tell you to always raise the best stats. It isn't as fun if you don't like em.
