Suicune or Quagsire?

I just snagged Suicune from Lady Venus, and I'm considering using it in place of my Quagsire. But I'm not sure if I should.

Quagsire:

Advantages:He's half ground, making him only weak to grass types. He's fully purified too, so he has all his moves and can gain expirience.

Disadvantages:Only level 36, and not all that fast.

Suicune:

Advantages:Legendary, and at level 40

Disadvantages:No expirience gain, and the only move is Shadow Rush. It'll take a long time to purify it. Also, it'll be a while before I get another Time Flute, and I already used the first on Entei.

So, what do you think?

I think Quagsire because in the time it will take to purify Suicune, you can have leveled up Quagsire to about the same level as Suicune

Suicune for the high defenses and Sp. Atk. The only thing Quagsire's good (or at least decent in) are Atk and HP.

Choose Quagsire because it will gain exp. and Suicune really doesn't have much attack power

I would go with Suicune. It's legendary and has a wide array of attacks(though some are a bit weak) once purified enough(Surf, Gust, Aurora Beam). If I recall correctly, you can get another Time Flute almost right after you defeat Venus. I remember I purified Suicune right after I snagged it at least. I'll go check...

EDIT: Found the answer in my guidebook. It says that the U-disk which leads to a secret room with a time flute in it is found in the subway by the Shadow Pokemon Lab. After getting off the subway, go right, up untill you reach a door, and then left through a bunch of boxes. An item box with the U-disk will be at the far right.

Does Quaggy have Water Absorb? I'm anti-legendaries in battle, especially for midgame while still in the main story because it rushes, but I remember using Quagsire w/o Water Absorb and was always like 'drat it would've come in handy'.

Suicune. Trust me, if you use it a lot and always call it out of Hyper Mode, it won't take too long to purify it. Suicune is also a lot more useful in the long run than Quagsire, because it will learn better attacks.

Suicune. No question. CMSuicune will kill just about anything, even Water and Ice types fall. Quagsire sucks IMO. The only problem is that it doesn't get CM till lvl81 :/

It also has Water Absorb and only one weakness, making it a fairly decent Pokemon. And btw Colloseum Heroine 1991, Gust is a terrible move.
I say remain with Quagsire, because Pokemon you train alot from very early on in the game often end up more powerful, reliable, and flexable. My two most powerful Pokemon ever, Mantine and Breloom, were trained from very early on.

I like Quagsire more, but why not go with your favorite?
Better yet, why don't you switch to use them both with most appropiate?

I say use them both but use Quagsire as your main water-type for a while until you purify Suicune.

I would like to say suicune because quagsire is well ugly but Colo Suicune isnt great. I wouldnt wast a time flute on it either. Rub cologne into it until you find its nature and purify it depending on which way it prefers to be purified. Waste your time flutes on TTar Metagross and Skarmory.

Now suicune has good stats but poor moves
Quagsire has bad stats and bad moves.
Let me see what I would pick

Advice: Both. Take both of them along so you can purify Suicune. Or go to MT Battle and purify Suicune there. I just went along and used it though because its my fave Legendary!

Go with suicune for its defense sure it may be tough purifying it but its better to purify Suicune than Metagross.

Quagsire is way too slow (Suicune isn't fast either but it's much faster anyway) Suicune's defences pwn. It isn't too hard to purify Suicune as long as you have cash to use on scents. If you don't have the cash, purifying the Suicune by battling is a good idea, since you get all the experience after the actual purifying event. Stay with Quagsire until you get Suicune purified.

let see I used Quagsire gave it ice beam, it also had Water Absorb, team it up with Hitmontop to cover its speed and it was also part ground making it dual type and lets just that it was one of the reason how I manage to finish the game.

Waste your time flutes on TTar Metagross and Skarmory.

I'm not worried about Scarmory or Metigriss (Since I have a killer Bedlum in the game, as well as a Scarmory), and wouldn't the last two be more useful on Ho-Oh and Raikou.

Ho-Oh doesn't need to be purified I don't think..as it comes and randomly appears in your box after the Mt Battle challenge. o.o
