Rules are, nominating may continue from the posting of the Thread until September 22nd. All fics nominated must be active during the Summer, as in a fic that has not been updated since Janurary will not count. Anything active from June 21st to Sept 22nd can be nominated. A link must be included when nominating (Unless nominating for author in which case, thread active during the summer that best fits the catagory you are nominating that author for, for some nominations, it is accpeatble to not give a link).

You may not nominate yourself, though you may ask a reviewer to nominate, or even tactfully imply it, though you cannot force a nomination, and you cannot get people to vote for you.

If you are to vote, you must of read atleast one chapter (unless it is a one-shot or poem) of everything nominated in that catagory. Voting for an author simply is down to judgement.

Dang it. I was planning on reading a bunch of fics so that I could actually nominate, but it's too late.

Well, I'll start a reading frenzy. ^^ Of course, I might not feel it's the best idea to nominate any of the fics for the Summer Fic Awards, because I'm just about to start, but I'll at least come around for the awards following it.

It'll be interesting to see how things go this time around.

Edit: By the way, I mean a can't nominate because I don't think I can read enough fanfics in time, not because the nominating is over. Which it isn't. ^^

Wow, yet another one strikes the board. This is making me so excited to try and finish Switchblade Corruption so I can rock the heads of those who beg for fantasy. ^_^

Then again, I do have a few one-shots that would require a nip-and-tuck. *wanders off to Shadow Beauty*. ^^ I'll be making my nominations later on, I'm waiting for Lily's story to come out. ^_^;

Lip - Are there any prizes for the winners of voting, such as a small trophy image or something? I am just wondering, possibly like a small picture with the categories the person won. That'd be a nice, little treat, although it doesn't matter to me.

Damn, I'm glad that these are back up. Although, I have a question: Are nominations for each category only limited to one nominee each, or can we have more than one nomination for each category?

BTW, Flaming Lip, could you edit your post? My story is called "Pokemon: Generation Kanto", not "Generation Kanto". :p Sorry, I just have to nitpick right there.

And if it is any constellation, having Scrap make you a banner would certainly be worth it. Why, there are four examples on this page with myself, Sy, Blue Pokemon Master, and Scrap's own banner. If those aren't awesome banners, than I don't know what is.
