Frozocrone
Miraculous!
Marshadow has apparently been in Ash's shadow
s*** he's the chosen one again
That shouldn't matter. Torterra and Infernape being in M10 didn't stop Ash from getting them, and Greninja being in M17 didn't stop Froakie from evolving.Hopefully since Incineroar is in the movie that that'll mean Ash won't get one in the main series. I also heard it's the least popular Alola starter's final form in Japan, yes?

The anime has had the starters' final evos appear in the first movie of each region since DP.
It doesn't mean anything. Especially since Cross will most likely never appear outside of this movie.

Okay, maybe I should watch the trailer before posting that. ^_^; My apologies.
Still, it's probably not going to be the main focus of the movie, so they could still do a Necrozma and Marshadow movie. I don't see why not. Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina appeared in more than one movie.
lol yeah, the two companions have a lucario and piplup. totally just a coincidence...
Come to think of it, the official Pokemon Center plushes for the starter final evolutions were revealed earlier today. Wonder if they were revealed because of the movie.
I'm sorry if you're a Decidueye fan
Why so? By the way, I am a Decidueye fan, but Litten in SM so far has really touched me.
Because Decidueye's plush looks absolutely horrid? Why so? By the way, I am a Decidueye fan, but Litten in SM so far has really touched me.
Honestly, Rowlet and Litten have more of a chance of evolving than Popplio. Popplio might not evolve because of Lana's bubble dream and Primarina not being suited as a travelling Pokemon.Don't know about decidueye or incineroar but i want to see popplio fully evolving into primarina.

Honestly, Rowlet and Litten have more of a chance of evolving than Popplio. Popplio might not evolve because of Lana's bubble dream and Primarina not being suited as a travelling Pokemon.
Why? Just because Popplio's not going to battle as much as Rowlet and Litten? If anything, it would be essential for Popplio to evolve to Primarina, so it can use its signature Z-move Oceanic Operetta to blow their biggest bubble ever.
I've already brought up other reasons in the past for why Popplio could evolve, and I know you've seen it already. I'll repost it again, though.
1. The fact that it knows Bubble Beam, a move that Popplio doesn't even learn until its level is in the 20's, suggests that it has to have some battle experience. Remember, they don't just give starters higher level moves from the get-go for no reason anymore.
2. We know Popplio is progressing in its goal from SM16 and SM17. Heck, Pikachu is swimming in one of Popplio's bubbles in the preview for SM22. Pretty much all that's left for Lana's goal is to train Popplio to make bubbles that can consistently support a human, and she's pretty much set. There is no way the writers are going to drag that out for the rest of the series, so there's a pretty good chance Lana will expand on her goal a little bit. And who knows? That could mean evolution is necessary.
3. And here's a pretty good reason: Brionne and Primarina are capable of controlling the movements of their bubbles. Popplio cannot. I would think that would be helpful for Lana's dream, lest Popplio helplessly watch the Trainer that saved it from Team Skull drift away to her death somehow.
Yeah, but Popplio fully evolving into Primarina and not learning its signature Z-move Oceanic Operetta would be ridiculous. As Lana isn't seemingly efficient in battling, it's very unlikely that she will a Z-crystal. So, for this reason, I think that a rival debuting Primarina would be better.
On top of that, Lana's whole "thing" seems to be that she shares a particularly strong bond with her Popplio. Unlike Mallow and Steenee or Sophocles and Togedemaru or, hell, even Kiawe and Turtonator, they actually have history together. IIRC, Mallow mentioned she met Bounsweet in the forest, I don't recall if we learned about how Sophocles met Togedemaru, and I know we don't know anything about how Kiawe met Turtonator. In contrast, we know Lana saved Popplio from Team Skull and bonded with it so it wouldn't be afraid of people, and she's extremely protective of the sea pupper. The two share in the same goal and work toward it. It's obvious their bond is extremely strong, arguably even moreso than any of Ash's other classmates and their Pokemon.Like Golden_Latias said, Lana's Popplio has already shown to be an efficient battler, with or without Lana. Besides, even if Popplio wasn't good at battling, I'm sure the anime is going to find a way to show that you don't need to be an efficient battler to use a Z-crystal. I don't think the games have explained that you need to be a powerful battler to use Z-moves. It's more about being in sync with your Pokemon as shown with Ash and Kiawe.
