Yeah, but he's good at coloring with markers. Besides using actual art mediums on actual paper takes a lot more skill and is in a totally different league than cgi. Dont compare them because I'm really good at Paintshop pro but I'm not too good at acrylics..... and finding the right shade of marker isn't easy when you have a budjet or just not easy overall. Heck I ended up making my girls too tan because my peach marker went too bright.

And according to the PokeCommunity thread, Sunflorazumarill is shooting towards the stylized, tribal look, not towards the normal anime look like most other artists. Wow, call her a bad artist for just doing a different style then your eyes are used to. Geez
btw, Sunflorazumarill, your new Lucy pic (even though you didn't show it yet), her stomach is a little thin and the skirt rides too low on her hips, making it look strange.

Crystal, there's a difference between "stylized" and "obvious lack of drawing experience". The boring, podantic poses and lack of any sort of emotion from these (coupled with the crap anatomy (hands, legs, et. al)) indicate that this person obviously hasn't been a long-time artist.
I reccomend that software for people who are "new" to art, or those that simply prefer the style it makes. I use them because I just don't have the patience, and the end result is nice IMO. It just... makes more sense. >_>

All right now! I happen to have another triple feature to post here! This time, it's Gary's cheerleaders dressed as hula dancers! These are also remakes of older pics I did of them almost two years ago. What the cheerleaders happen to be doing is that Gary has decided to have them perform in a hula contest in the Orange Island and as it turns out, they might do good. I had to limit their movement positions to standing and moving their arms but I did include their pompoms for each of them! I also decided to once again use vivid and verious colors for all three pics! Now I'd like to hear some replies on these new pics of mine and also would like to see if any of you can answer this! There happens to be a pattern with the cheerleaders' hula skirts, leis, flowers, and sandals. In addition to other statements, can anybody tell me what is that pattern?

But the thing is, some shapes don't look right in certain styles. It would look very awkward if a single character had, lets say, a pudgy chibi-like face in the anime Akira. Or a hard, angular face in Azumanga Daioh.

Even if you are more harsh, your post will never get through his tungsten-hard head. Many tried, all failed. :< I agree on the forum for skill seperation though. Maybe a lock down can work? But we would need more mods to approve and seperate them.

I'm afraid of what kind of ***-patting he got at PC, so I don't even want to know. Saying that he's doing a "tribal" look is probably an excuse to make up lack of skill. If one was going to try a "Tribal" style, then I think it's smart to actually read up on how the actual people did it. I don't rememeber many tribal art having so many retina-buring colors and his "style" looks pretty anime-ish anyway.

HM, I just read his other threads. He doesn't read ANY of the posts that are replied to him. At all. The "fan-fic" is obvious proof. What he does read, he must shrug off, or not give a **** about. And it's apparant.

Sunflorazumarill: We do not want to see anymore. Keep posting on PC if you want praise. They'll love anything.

These would be alot more realistic and overall nicer if they were less... Angular. Less flat would be fine as well.

However, the colouring isn't too bad. Even if it is marker or pencil crayon.

It's a mix between tribal and anime. And Sunflora wasn't the one to say it, it was highly respected Moderator Forest Grovyle who is very intellengent in art, more than most people who have posted in this thread.
Sunflora has a very unique style he's trying to draw in, even if he needs practice. And there are no rules in art styles. Many people will dislike styles in art but that just comes down to opinion.
Sometimes I wonder why people cant just accept other people's styles and enjoy them.
Sunflora, maybe you should stay at the Pokecommunity, this place aint too good for your style.
This is your friend, Crystal Clair, I've helped you in many situations and I'm helping you here. People aren't enjoying your art here and they're saying it's a bad style.
But in the end it's all up to you

This time, imagine Whillimena in a cocount bikini and hula skirt! Looks like Whillimena's tropical island vacation has been rained on, but she's decided to keep her Marill dry with her parasol. I also included a Masquerain in the pic as well, which Whillimena now has as well. I accidentaly used a red marker on Marill's tail, so that's why the color looks off.

Looks like I have another pic to show you! This time, it's one dedicated to Crystal Clair! Please say hello to Hula Clair! As you can see, Clair is wearing a hula skirt while standing in the lake with her Dragon Pokémon! I tried my best at replicating Clair's face and hair, but I think she still turned out nice. For the record, I found Gyarados hard to draw and that's why you may see noticeable imperfections with it.
